New York State Troopers and an NYPD officer jumped into action upon seeing a burning car on the side of a roadway ... pulling several people to safety in a shocking video.
The NYPD's official X account shared the clip Tuesday morning ... explaining the incident took place back on March 22 on the Grand Central Parkway -- a major throughfare running through Queens.
The video -- cut together from body cam footage -- begins when an officer arrives on the scene ... relaying the situation through a dispatch radio before jumping out of his car. His partner hands him a fire extinguisher and the two rush toward the burning vehicle.
6:00 AM PT -- We asked Nomiki Konst about the photos and the details of her claim ... she now says, "Over the course of 2 years, I attended over 10 Democratic organizing meetings. I'm not a whistleblower or a Swalwell survivor -- but was simply sharing an anecdote of an event that occurred at one of these many meetings. The event was in a public space with witnesses. After reviewing documents, the event occurred at a DNC meeting in 2017. The point has always been about his recklessness and demanding democratic leadership have better modes of accountability."
The woman who claims Eric Swalwell made her "uncomfortable" at a Democratic National Convention event appears to have her facts mixed up, because we obtained photos showing Swalwell wasn't there. She stands by her story but admits she mixed up the dates.
Here's the deal ... Nomiki Konst last week alleged she and Swalwell had an interaction at a 2018 DNC gathering in Chicago, which ran from August 23 through August 25, that made her "uncomfortable."
Konst, who is Bill de Blasio's ex-girlfriend, went on a podcast and claimed Swalwell brought her a glass of Prosecco and "zoomed" in on her. She also said he became "touchy-feely, touching my hands."
Kyrsten Sinema wrote an emotional text message to her married boyfriend, Matthew Ammel, that his estranged wife is now using in court ... TMZ has learned.
Matthew’s estranged wife, Heather Ammel, submitted alleged 2024 messages that the former Arizona senator sent.
In the paperwork obtained by TMZ, Heather said Kyrsten sent Matthew a concert ticket via text in June 2024 to see the singer Noah Kahan ... and says the following month, the politician shared her location with Matthew.
The Hollywood Hills home where D4vdhad been living and where Celeste Rivas Hernandezspent time prior to her death is back up for rent ... marketed as a peaceful luxury escape despite its unsettling ties.
TMZ has learned the property, tucked along a quiet Hollywood Hills street, quietly hit the rental market about three weeks ago -- fully furnished with high end finishes, a private pool, and seamless indoor-outdoor living -- and it's going for $23,950 a month.
The 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath home spans about 4,300 square feet. Outside, terraces and lounge areas surround a secluded pool, creating a private, resort-like hillside setting.
This is the same property raided by the LAPD in September 2025 during the investigation, with officers swarming the home after a body was discovered in D4vd's Tesla.
Rep. Donald Norcross got straight-up emotional when Charlie stopped him right in his tracks, asking about a near-death experience that changed his life.
The Congressman from New Jersey was walking on Capitol Hill when Charlie asked him about something that happened almost a year ago to the day ... when he had a medical emergency on a flight -- a gallbladder infection that almost cost him his life.
Norcross stopped and choked up as he talked about the 6-week medical battle that could have gone either way.
Watch the vid ... you feel the impact it had on his life.
D4vd has just pled not guilty to murder and other charges in connection with the death of Celeste Rivas ... and he is challenging the D.A. to put their cards on the table, or fold.
D4vd went before a judge just hours after being charged with first-degree murder with special circumstances, including lying in wait, committing the crime for financial gain, and murdering a witness to an investigation.
Prosecutors also charged D4vd with lewd and lascivious sexual acts with a person under 14 years old and the mutilation of a human body.
D4vd's lawyers asked the judge for a preliminary hearing within 10 days ... that's something to which a defendant is entitled. There's a clear strategic reason for the move -- given that D4vd was arrested just a few days ago, the defense seems to be banking on the case still being a work in progress.
Oops ... Charlietried to engage with Rep. Lateefah Simon on a fun subject, but it kinda backfired.
Charlie got the Congresswoman from Oakland Monday, which happens to be 4/20, so he was all about smoke-filled rooms. Turns out, it's a solemn day for her -- it's the date her dad passed away.
Charlie was undeterred ... asking about members who might partake in the 4/20 celebrations. Trust us ... it's a subject that's near and dear to Charlie's heart.
The convo shifted to rumors that Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito might retire before the midterms, so Trump could get a younger version confirmed before the election. The Congresswoman seems to be a woman of faith, because she's praying for the health of ALLSupreme Court justices, at least for the next 3 years.
Tucker Carlson’s son has bounced from J.D. Vance’s office ... but his decision had nothing to do with the fiery feud between President Donald Trump and his dad.
A source with direct knowledge tells TMZ ... Buckley Carlson is out as deputy press secretary in the VP’s office ... a call he made after an "intense" year in the role. We're told it's common for people to depart the WH after a year ... and this has nothing whatsoever to do with Trump and his pop's bad blood.
Obviously, the timing set off a lot of speculation ... since Trump has been going scorched-earth on Tucker lately -- calling him “low IQ,” “overrated,” and even a “broken man” in recent Truth Social posts -- while Tucker’s been firing back over everything from Iran policy to Trump’s rhetoric, accusing him of crossing serious lines.
Tucker reportedly tried to personally talk Trump out of striking Iran and has since become one of his loudest conservative critics on the issue -- turning their once-friendly relationship into a full-on public slugfest.
But again ... we heard from our source that Buckley made a professionally-based decision-- not a personal one ... as his dad and Trump continue to lock horns in the headlines.
3:40 PM PT -- An expected news conference has been called off ... Celeste Rivas' family will not be speaking publicly from the courthouse this afternoon, according to a spokesperson for the D.A. at the scene.
Celeste Rivas' family was expected to speak out publicly after D4vd was charged in her violent death ... a news conference was set up, but the family later declined to appear for cameras.
Celeste's father, mother, and sister attended D4vd's court hearing this afternoon at the Hall of Justice in Downtown Los Angeles ... they had been set for a news conference with their attorney, Patrick Steinfeld. D4vd pled not guilty earlier this afternoon.
The family was set to make a brief statement through their attorney ... but they did not intend to take questions.
It's the end of an Apple era ... the company announced Monday that Tim Cook will be stepping down as CEO.
TC will still be involved with the tech giant ... moving into a new role as executive chairman of Apple’s board of directors.
SVP of Hardware Engineering John Ternus will be stepping into Tim's shoes as CEO starting in September.
According to Apple, Steve Jobs' successor will still help with "certain aspects" of Apple as executive chairman ... like "engaging with policymakers around the world."
John Gotti's grandson was sentenced to 15 months behind bars … a New York judge ruled Monday.
Carmine Agnello -- grandson of the infamous “Teflon Don” -- will do time for scamming the federal government out of $1.1 mil in Covid relief funds … multiple outlets report.
In 2020, he applied for at least three Covid relief loans for his auto parts business … and used over $400K of it to invest in crypto.
Rep. Rich McCormick's self-effacing comment that D.C. is like Hollywood for uglies didn't snow Charlie ... he straight-up called the Congressman from Georgia handsome!!!
Charlie took a stroll with McCormick on Capitol Hill Monday, and he kinda called out Harveyfor his OWTA battle cry -- Out with Their Asses -- saying the movement ignores the folks who have made their lives harder to serve in Congress.
McCormick -- a Dr. and a vet (veteran) -- says people used to love him back home. He was even elected student body president of Morehouse College, despite the fact that he was a white male conservative at a predominantly liberal, Black, female institution.
The Congressman says once you put a letter -- R or D -- in front of your name, half the people in the country hate you. So, if Harvey has his way, McCormick says his life would get markedly easier.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
McCormick tries to wax philosophical, presumably quoting Plato, but mistakenly calls him Pluto. Well, maybe he was just trying to speak Charlie's language.
The tragic deaths of former Virginia Lt. Gov. JustinFairfax and his wife, CerinaFairfax, have officially been ruled a murder-suicide ... and the details are as grim as they come.
The Virginia Department of Health’s Chief Medical Examiner tells TMZ … Cerina died from multiple gunshot wounds, with her manner of death ruled a homicide. Justin, meanwhile, died from a contact gunshot wound to the head, with officials ruling his death a suicide.
The two were found dead last Thursday at their home in Annandale, VA from gunshot wounds ... Cerina's body was found in the basement and Justin's body was found in a bedroom. The couple was reportedly going through a messy divorce.
12:36 PM PT -- The courthouse is now back open after the bomb squad took dogs through the building and found nothing ... all clear.
Chaos erupted outside the Los Angeles County Courthouse Monday as a bomb threat was called in -- amid the charges issued against accused killer D4vd in the high-profile Celeste Rivas case.
Law enforcement tells us they received a verbal threat, and the bomb squad is on the way to the courthouse. We hear the threat doesn't seem credible ... but they're taking no chances. The call came in during heightened security surrounding D4vd’s arraignment ... forcing an immediate response from police and courthouse officials.
Parts of the building were evacuated, and the media were told to exit as a precaution while authorities worked to determine whether the threat was credible.
There was a huge fight at a Texas burger joint over the weekend that's gone viral ... and we're learning more about it.
Video of several women beating the hell out of one another spread on social media like wildfire Monday ... and it's pretty tough to watch, it's so brutal. There are kicks and punches all over the place -- while employees just stand by, taking video on their phones.
Waco Police tell TMZ ... officers responded to Whataburger just before 6 AM Sunday ... but everyone was gone by the time officers arrived. They're aware of the video and have seen it ... so there's plenty of evidence if any of the girls come back!
Kash Patelis suing a magazine and a journalist for defamation over a story claiming the FBI director has "alarmed colleagues with episodes of excessive drinking and unexplained absences."
Patel filed suit Monday against The Atlantic and the woman who wrote the article, Sarah Fitzpatrick ... and he's going after them for $250 million in damages.
The story was published Friday with the headline "Kash Patel's Erratic Behavior Could Cost Him His Job" ... and in Patel's lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, he takes issue with what he claims are "numerous false and defamatory statements of fact."
