HE'S ON MY HIT LIST

Bad news for Tom Brady ... 6'6", 318lb. Atlanta Falcons star Ra'Shede Hageman is out for Super Bowl 51 revenge!!

TMZ Sports spoke with the former 2nd round pick about NFL quarterbacks he'd love to meet in the backfield ... and Hageman says TB12 will always be at the top of his hit list.

Of course, Hageman was on the other end of Brady's 25-point comeback in SB51 this past February ... so it's no surprise he's gonna want to put that behind him.

Hageman also gives us the rest of his top 3 ... which includes Cam Newton and "any rookie who think they the s**t."

We got Al Michaels out at the Palm in Beverly Hills and asked him if there's one piece of advice he could give to Tony and Jay since both guys are now off the field and in the broadcast booth.

Al -- who's been doing it for NEARLY 50 YEARS -- gives up the secret, and then gives the guys someone to shoot for, telling us who he thinks the greatest analyst of all time is.

Here's a hint ... it's not O.J.

Nico Marley What Do I Listen To Before Games? ... Duh, My Grandpa Bob!

Published | Updated

Redskins rookie Nico Marley is telling TMZ Sports how he stirs it up before games ... and of course it has to do with jamming to the iconic music of his legendary grandpa, Bob Marley.

Now that his dad, Rohan, told us about one thing Nico 100% WON'T be doing before games, we wanted to talk to the younger Marley about the type of things he DOES do.

Apparently that includes listening to the music of Bob, which Nico says gives him a positive vibration before he's gotta go on the field and put in work.

Bonus awesomeness? Nico tells about the all-world former NFL beast who's been an angel on his shoulder since the beginning of his football career.

A 250 pound angel.

I CAN'T SPEAK FOR HER

"At the end of the day, I know [Tom Brady's] gonna do what's best for his health" ... so says Rodney Harrison.

Rodney didn't just play with Tom, they're friends -- and the ex-Patriots star says he knows Tom is always keeping his health as the top priority when he's playing.

Of course, Brady made headlines this week when his wife, Gisele, said Tom has concussions all the time ... but "we don't talk about [them]."

The concern is that Tom is hiding serious brain injuries to avoid missing playing time.

But Rodney doesn't believe Tom would do that -- saying, "I've known Brady for a long time. He's a great guy."

There is this ... Rodney seems to be suggesting many players could potentially suffer concussions during games and they're not properly diagnosed."

"I think the majority of the time when you hit someone and you get your bell rung ... that can be labelled a concussion. It just depends on the scenario."

Adrian Peterson Puts Minnesota House On The Market ... Peace Out Vikings!!!

Published | Updated

How do you know when the breakup is real? When someone finally moves out.

This time it's Adrian Peterson, whose Minnesota house is officially up for sale, TMZ Sports has learned.

The 5-bed, 4-bath home -- which Peterson bought for $665k in 2007 -- is located in Eden Prairie, just minutes from the Vikings headquarters and practice facility.

AP listed the house at $695k earlier this week (hey, $30k goes a long way) ... and being that it comes with a team themed room (purple walls, team logo), another Viking might wanna grab it.

Of course Adrian is a Saint now ... and while it remains to be scene whether he'll cop a spot in the Crescent City, one thing's for sure ...

... the break up with Minnesota is real.

A GREAT TEAMMATE

Colin Kaepernick's old 49ers teammate, Vernon Davis, is going to bat for the QB -- saying the guy isn't just a great player, but he's "one of those guys that you want on your team."

Vernon told TMZ Sports ... one of the things that impressed him on the 49ers was Kaep's work ethic -- saying the QB is an "extremely hard worker" who's a true pro.

Long story short ... Davis is vouching for Kaep in the strongest way possible and it's clear he thinks the guy belongs in the NFL this season.

As for Davis, the Washington Redskins tight end is entering his 12th season in the league -- so, he has a pretty damn good perspective on what it takes to make it in the NFL.

Rohan Marley Weed Won't Be an Issue ... For NFL Son!

Published | Updated

With Bob Marley's grandson, Nico, signing with the Washington Redskins ... we got to wondering, will marijuana be an issue??

For the answer, we went right to Bob's son, Rohan Marley, and asked if Nico will be able to pass on the family's favorite pastime ... since weed is outlawed in the NFL.

The good news for the Redskins ... Rohan says weed isn't really Nico's thing -- plus, he can always wait until AFTER his NFL career to partake in the herbals.

Rohan -- who was a stud football player back in the day -- is clearly proud of his kid ... but you gotta see his reaction when we ask if Nico is better than he was. Classic.

KEEP IT ZIPPED

Terry Bradshaw says Gisele hung Tom Brady out to dry by talking about his alleged concussions on national TV ... telling TMZ Sports, "My wife would never say that."

In fact, Terry suspects Tom is really upset over the situation -- "I would imagine someone's having a talk with somebody."

"I don't know why she would say that," Bradshaw added ... while explaining that when it comes to private health matters, it's not up to the spouse to share that information with the world.

"That's my wife right there and she'd never say a word," Terry said pointing to Tammy.

Terry's wife says it's not a black and white issue ... it's complicated.

The good news ... Terry's confident Tom and Gisele will ultimately work things out.

NFL Calls BS On Gisele No Evidence Tom Brady Suffered Concussion

Published | Updated

The NFL is disputing Gisele's claims that Tom Brady secretly suffered a concussion during the 2016 season ... saying there's no evidence the Patriots QB suffered any sort of head injury.

NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy just issued a statement saying, "We have reviewed all reports relating to Tom Brady from the unaffiliated neurotrauma consultants and certified athletic trainer spotters who worked at Patriots' home and away 2016 season games as well as club injury reports that were sent to the league office."

"There are no records that indicate that Mr. Brady suffered a head injury or concussion, or exhibited or complained of concussion symptoms."

"Today we have been in contact with the NFLPA and will work together to gather more information from the club's medical staff and Mr. Brady."

"The health and safety of our players is our foremost priority and we want to ensure that all our players have and continue to receive the best care possible."

The NFL isn't directly saying Gisele lied during an appearance on "CBS This Morning" -- but they're certainly mounting the case against her.

'Concussion' Dr. Bennet Omalu Gisele Is 'Angelic' For Revealing Tom Brady Injury

Published | Updated

Gisele is a heroic whistle-blower who did an "angelic" thing by going public with Tom Brady's secret concussion history ... so says the doctor who discovered CTE, Bennet Omalu.

Omalu is the real life person that inspired the movie "Concussion" -- he was famously played by Will Smith. He also wrote the book, 'Truth Doesn't Have a Side' about the dangers of contact sports.

So, how did he react when he saw Gisele finally reveal Tom's concussion history on television? He praised her.

"I believe it is something angelic to speak up," Omalu says ... "She's an angel. An angel of truth and an angel of love."

He added, "The truth will always prevail. We should not be afraid of the truth because of the inconvenience of the truth. But when we embrace the truth, just like Gisele has done, the truth is empowering, is enlightening and is vindicating."

"So, [Gisele] is my hero."

Tom Brady NFLPA 'Looking Into' Concussion Claim

Published | Updated

The NFL Players Association is "looking into" the statements made by Gisele about Tom Brady suffering a concussion last year that was not reported in NFL injury reports.

After Gisele appeared on "CBS This Morning" and told Charlie Rose about Tom's secret history of concussions ... we reached out to the NFLPA for comment.

We were told, "Right now, we have no official statement, but we are looking into."

Gisele's comments have sparked all sorts of questions -- with people wondering if Tom or the Patriots intentionally hid the information from the NFL so Tom wouldn't have to miss game time.

We've also reached out to Tom and the Patriots for comment -- so far, no official comments from either camp.

Gisele Tom Brady Has Concussions All The Time 'We Don't Talk About'

Published | Updated

Tom Brady suffered a football-related concussion last year that nobody knew about -- and he secretly gets concussions all the time -- so says his wife, Gisele.

The supermodel appeared on "CBS This Morning" on Wednesday and expressed frustration with Tom's health ... particularly the brain injuries he suffers on the field.

"Football ... like he had a concussion last year," Gisele said.

"I mean he has concussions pretty much every [year] ... I mean, we don't talk about. But he does have concussions."

This could be a big deal ... considering Brady was not listed on the NFL injury list for a concussion once in 2016. It begs the question ... was the injury covered up to keep him on the field?

In the NFL, if a player is diagnosed with a concussion during a game, he is NOT allowed to return to the field for the remainder of that game. He may return the following week at the discretion of his doctor.

"I don’t really think it’s a healthy thing for your body to go through like, through that kind of aggression like, all the time–that cannot be healthy for you, right?"

"I mean I’m planning on having him be healthy and do a lot of fun things when we’re like 100, I hope."

Bob Marley's Grandson Signs NFL Contract ... I'm Smokin' QBs Now!

Published | Updated

Get up, stand up ... and salute Bob Marley's grandson -- who just signed a free agent contract with the Washington Redskins.

The team announced Nico Marley -- an undrafted free agent LB out of Tulane -- has officially inked a deal with them after he impressed coaches at the team's rookie mini-camp.

What's REALLY impressive ... Nico is pretty undersized as far as NFL linebackers go ... he's only 5'8". (For the record, Bob was only 5'7")

Of course, this doesn't mean Nico will be with the team on opening day -- he still has to earn a roster spot ... but still, it's a great start.

Athletes seem to run in the family ... Nico's dad, Rohan Marley, played college football for Miami back in the day (with The Rock and Ray Lewis!) before a stint in the Canadian Football League.

Nico tweeted about the signing -- "My family and I are extremely grateful to the Washington Redskins organization ... for giving me this opportunity to prove myself in mini-camp."

"All I've ever needed was a chance to prove myself. Been hearing I'm 'too small' my whole life and that won't ever stop me."

Congrats!
