In a case of WHEN HOUSES ATTACK ... one of the guys from the show "Sell this House: Extreme" found himself covered in blood after he was smashed in the face by a falling mirror. EXTREEEEEME!!

Here's what happened ... Charlie Frattini -- the construction guy who renovates the homes on the hit A&E reality show -- was taping an episode in Miami, FL last Friday ... when a very large mirror he was attempting to secure to the wall came crashing down onto his face.

The mirror shattered ... and at least one of the pieces sliced open a 5-inch gash right above of his forehead. With blood literally dripping down his face, Charlie went to a local hospital ... where he was stitched up and released.

After the incident, Charlie -- sporting 2 nasty black eyes -- taped a video statement and joked about the situation ... "I got in a fight with a mirror, and the mirror kicked my ass."

"Good Morning America" won't be left high and dry when Robin Roberts goes on medical leave in a couple months -- TMZ has learned, producers are arranging a star-studded list of substitutes to sit in for her.

As we reported, Roberts was diagnosed in April with myelodysplastic syndrome -- a serious blood and bone marrow disease -- and has already begun chemotherapy treatment ... before her big bone marrow transplant in a few months.

As for who made the temp list -- we're told producers will approach Diane Sawyer, Charlie Gibson, Barbara Walters, Chris Cuomo, Connie Chung, Joan Lunden and others. We're told each substitute will sit in Robin's chair for a full week, and each Friday the next star sub will be announced.

Given the nature of the operation, it could take Roberts 4 months to recover -- so the list will be long.

The man who put Charles Manson in prison is currently hospitalized in California, following complications from cancer surgery ... TMZ has learned.

Former prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi's wife tells TMZ, her husband underwent surgery back in April for stage 2 cancer.

According to his wife, the surgery appeared to be successful at first, but Vincent experienced complications shortly after, and was admitted to the ICU. Vincent's wife wouldn't specify the nature of the complications.

Vincent's wife adds, "He has been in very bad shape for some time. He regained consciousness this week, finally starting to be on the road to recovery. He's going to be in rehab for a long time."

Vincent left the ICU last week but is still hospitalized.

Thanks to Vincent's badassness back in the day -- Charles Manson was convicted of seven murders in 1971 and sentenced to death. Manson's death sentence was reduced to life in prison a year later when California abolished the death penalty.

11:48 AM PT -- Kelly's people tell us ... "Initial indications are that he is suffering from complications from surgery he had last year to treat an abscess on his vocal cords."

Besides the book launch party ... Kelly has also had to bail on the "Jimmy Fallon Show" and canceled an appearance on NBC's "Today" show.

Kelly's people note, "It is unclear how long Kelly may be sidelined."

R. Kelly is suffering from a mysterious "health emergency" ... that has caused the singer to cancel an event in New York this evening ... TMZ has learned.

We spoke with Kelly's rep ... who tells us the singer has officially postponed tonight's R. Kelly Book Launch event in NYC "due to a health emergency that has sidelined Mr. Kelly in Chicago."

5:09 PM PT -- Nora has died. She was 71.

Nora Ephron -- the legendary Hollywood writer who penned the screenplays for "Sleepless in Seattle" and "When Harry Met Sally" -- is gravely ill ... family members are telling close friends.

The nature of her illness is unclear ... however there are reports she is suffering from cancer and is not expected to make it through the night.

There is speculation that Nora has already passed away -- we're told that's not true ... but there is little hope she will recover from her current condition.

71-year-old Ephron was nominated for 3 Academy Awards in her illustrious Hollywood career ... and was widely considered one of the most powerful women in the entertainment industry.

Among her most memorable films ... "Silkwood" ... "My Blue Heaven" ... "Michael" ... "You've Got Mail" ... and "Julie and Julia."

Frightening moment for "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence yesterday -- when an underage girl collapsed on the front lawn of her L.A. apartment complex.

The Santa Monica Police Department tells TMZ ... Lawrence was out walking her dog ... when she noticed a random girl laid out on her back.

As Jennifer rushed to assist the young woman, someone in the area called 911 ... and paramedics raced to the scene.

Cops tell us ... "The young lady who collapsed was a juvenile and was part of a group that was together."

It's unclear why the young woman was in front of Jennifer's home ... but cops say, "Alcohol may have played a role in the incident."

We're told paramedics didn't feel the girl needed to be transported to a hospital -- instead, she was treated on the scene and cleared to leave.

7:51 AM PT -- A rep for Curtis Jackson released a statement ... confirming 50 was in an accident early Tuesday morning.

The rep adds, "He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine."

50 Cent was hospitalized with possible injuries to his neck and back in a frightening car crash involving his SUV and a mack truck ... this according to a website affiliated with the rapper.

According to ThisIs50.com, it all went down early Tuesday morning on the Long Island Expressway in New York City, when a red mack truck rear-ended 50's ride ... and the rapper's SUV "almost flipped over."

50 -- real name Curtis Jackson -- was taken to a nearby hospital ... where, according to the site, doctors are running tests on his neck and back.

Mr. Woodchuck -- Uncle Joey's faithful puppet on "Full House" -- was gruesomely disfigured in a freak accident 17 years ago ... and now, Mr. Woodchuck is finally showing his face ... or what's left of it.

Dave Coulier -- who played Uncle Joey on the show -- dug up the old puppet from storage for a "Funny or Die" sketch, joking that Comet (the Tanner family dog) chewed up Mr. Woodchuck's foam face.

But Comet's just a scapegoat -- in reality, Mr. Woodchuck was the victim of Coulier's own dog who got a hold of the puppet soon after the show wrapped for good in 1995.

We're told Coulier's new video is scheduled to debut in the near future -- with a bonus cameo by everyone's favorite annoying neighbor ... Kimmy Gibbler.

"Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek suffered a mild heart attack Saturday and was rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital in L.A. where he is still recovering.

A spokeswoman for Alex says the 71-year-old is expected to make a full recovery ... she says he should be ready to resume his "Jeopardy!" hosting duties when they start filming the new season next month.

Trebek has been the host of the popular trivia game show for 28 years.

Two people were found dead last night at the Beverly Hilton -- where the Daytime Emmy Awards are scheduled to take place later today -- in what cops believe to be a murder-suicide.

Police responded to a shooting at the hotel at around 11:00 PM Friday and found a man and a woman dead from gunshot wounds. The victims were described as "elderly."

The bodies were picked up from the hotel early Saturday by the coroner's office.

Just because she's carrying an unborn baby inside her and not downing tequila shots doesn't mean anything has changed for Snooki ... as the pint-sized mother-to-be once again stumbled to the ground in Seaside Heights on Thursday.

Rockin' a pair of maternity platform sandals, the unmarried "Jersey Shore" star lost her footing and took a sober tumble on to the sidewalk yesterday. Luckily, she was uninjured, quickly got up and went on her non-alcoholic merry way.

Ozzy Osbourne fans in Germany were fearing the worst when a Black Sabbath concert in Germany was canceled at the last minute earlier today ... but TMZ has learned Ozzy only pulled the plug over "vocal concerns."

Sources at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany tell us ... Ozzy was supposed to take the stage after the band Black Label Society finished their set. But instead of Ozzy, another man grabbed the mic and announced that Osbourne would be unable to perform due to a medical condition.

Fans were freaking out ... but Ozzy's rep tells TMZ ... the rock legend's overall health is OK ... and he merely decided to cancel the show due to issues with his voice.

Concertgoers have been instructed to check the venue's official website to see if Ozzy will reschedule or simply issue a refund.

Drake is solely to blame for inflaming the violent mob that severely injured several innocent people ... so says a 4th woman who was injured in the melee and is now threatening to sue the rapper.

TMZ has learned ... Innocent Victim #4, Vladimira Brace, has lawyered up -- claiming she suffered a spinal injury when she was trampled in the melee that ensued inside W.i.P. nightclub in NYC on June 13.

Brace's attorney has already fired off a letter to Drake's reps ... saying point blank, "Your client instigated a brawl with Mr. Chris Brown" ... and adds, "[Drake's] actions were reckless and negligent in inflaming a violent mob."

The letter continues, "My client personally observed several members of [Drake's] entourage throwing bottles of champagne with reckless and criminal disregard of the well-being of the innocent bystanders."

Brace's attorney, Allan Friedman, claims Drake has a "well documented history" of vulgar, abusive and profane remarks concerning women -- and notes, "It is regrettable that apparently many innocent young women have been severely injured by this incident."

Sources connected with Drake tell TMZ ... Friedman's allegations are "laughable." They say first of all, Drake was there with a couple of security guys and that was it. They note both Chris Brown and Meek Mill both had large entourages. They also say the notion that Drake has an abusive history of women is absurd on 2 counts. First, they say it's not true. Second, Chris Brown .... well, you know.

Puppet -- the badass midget wrestler from the Spike TV show "Half Pint Brawlers" -- went head to head with a slab of cement and lost ... knocking out most of his front teeth and sending him straight to the E.R.

It all went down Saturday at an independent "midget wrestling" show in Virginia ... Puppet jumped off the top rope of the ring onto a table outside the perimeter -- but seriously fudged the landing.

Puppet tells TMZ ... he overshot the jump by a few feet and instead of hitting the table, he face-planted into the cement floor ... and knocked himself out cold for almost 3 minutes.

We're told he was rushed to a nearby hospital ASAP ... where he was given 8 stitches to fix a gash above his eye. Then doctors gave him some really bad news ... he needs major reconstructive dental surgery to fix all his top teeth.

Luckily the docs numbed the pain with a crap load of morphine ... which Puppet's friends were kind enough to catch on film (below).

Jack Osbourne has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, the former "Osbournes" star has revealed.

Osbourne tells PEOPLE he learned the news last month ... just two weeks after the birth of his daughter, Pearl Clementine.

Jack tells the mag, "I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, 'Why now?' I've got a family and that's what's supposed to be the most important thing."
