Ex-NFL star Larry Johnson has been sued by the man he allegedly ATTACKED WITH A BROKEN BOTTLE at a Miami hotel ... claiming LJ is a violent thug who scarred him for life.

TMZ Sports obtained the lawsuit filed by Drew Johnson -- a club promoter who says he was "minding his own business" in the VIP section of the club inside the Delano hotel on Oct. 7th when he was attacked by a "heavily intoxicated" LJ.

Drew claims LJ "broke a bottle and then began using the bottle as a weapon, cutting [Drew] with the intent on causing serious bodily injury."

As we previously reported, Drew required several stitches to close the gash on his arm he claims he sustained during the fight.

In the suit, Drew points out he's only 5'8", 150lbs ... and LJ is 6'2", 230 lbs ... and explains he couldn't have provoked the fight because "no one in their right mind would pick a fight or get into an altercation with [Johnson]."

Drew says he's suffered physical pain, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, physical scarring and disfigurement and medical expenses ... and he's demanding more than $15k.

As for LJ, he was arrested for aggravated battery -- and was released on $7,500 bail.

We reached out to Larry for comment -- so far no word back.

Besides his GF, Nick's parents were also there as he was wheeled into a waiting ride in L.A. -- after undergoing surgery to repair the torn radial collateral ligament in his right thumb.

Despite the fact he'll be out for 8 weeks, we're told Young was still smiling on his way out of the surgical center ... possibly because he'll still be raking in paychecks from his new 4-year $21 million contract.

Michael J. Fox's foundation is attacking a Parkinson's lab for destroying tens of thousands of critical samples ... and setting back much-needed research in the process.

The Foundation claims in a new lawsuit ... Coriell Institute exposed more than 25,000 specimens to the elements by leaving a freezer door open. The samples were supposed to be kept at negative 80 degrees Celsius but all of the bio-specimens thawed ... ruining them.

Michael's group claims the 5-year project is now seriously compromised ... and they're out more than $3 million precious dollars.

Your first reaction to watching Amanda Bynes ride a bicycle haphazardly through the streets of Manhattan might be to laugh ... but this is going to end badly unless she gets some help ... STAT.

Bynes was spotted this weekend riding a Citi Bike ... where she nearly took out a few pedestrians as she sloppily rode through a crosswalk. The video was shot right near Penn Station ... one of the more heavily trafficked parts of the city.

Early Monday morning, a Twitter account believed to belong to Bynes posted a photo of a lit cigarette that appears to be weed ... but Bynes loves to say how she doesn't smoke pot. And if you believe that, we have a bridge we'd like to sell you ...

As TMZ first reported, Bynes flew from L.A. to N.Y. on Friday and her behavior was all over the map. Amanda's friends all think Amanda needs help ... or else she might wind up in serious trouble.

Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson was TASED by cops at a Minneapolis nightclub ... BECAUSE PEPPER SPRAY DIDN'T STOP HIM ... this according a police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

Johnson was arrested early Sunday morning at Seven Steakhouse Sushi Ultralounge Skybar -- where he was allegedly causing trouble around 3AM.

According to the police report, Johnson was told to leave the building -- but refused ... so cops decided to break out the pepper spray.

But Johnson -- 6'3", 288 lbs -- wasn't fazed ... so cops broke out the stun gun.

He was eventually taken into custody and booked for disorderly conduct and trespassing.

Johnson posted $78 bail -- and was released later that day. He's due back in court on Oct. 17.

Mariah Carey struggled to get through the first night of her tour Saturday evening in Japan ... with her voice giving out -- and the video is PAINFUL to watch.

Carey kicked off her Elusive Chanteuse World Tour in Tokyo ... and based on the video -- as well as multiple others online -- it's clear she couldn't hit the high notes she's famous for.

During some portions of the concert, it seemed like Mariah forgot the lyrics ... however it's possible her microphone gave out -- since the stand broke during her performance of "We Belong Together."

File Under: "You Know You're In Trouble When" ... you punch a guy in the face as hard as you can -- AND HE DOESN'T GO DOWN ... because the guy you punched is a UFC fighter.

That's exactly what happened in Vegas -- when 27-year-old UFC star Cody "The Renegade" Gibson (12-5) got into a standoff with some dude with a death wish at a bar in Downtown Las Vegas.

It all went down last week ... after Cody's last-second defeat at UFC 178 to Manny Gamburyan. Despite the loss, Cody still felt like going out ... and that's when he got into it with another bar patron.

Sources at the bar tell us ... the two guys got into an arguing match that escalated quickly -- but when it almost came time to fight ... Cody tried to WARN the guy he's a professional brawler.

In the video, you can actually hear Cody tell the other man "Google me, bitch!"

But the other guy didn't listen ... and instead of googling, he SOCKED CODY IN THE FACE.

Cody was stunned ... but didn't go down ... and responded by tackling the guy to the ground.

Security quickly rushed in ... but no one was arrested or seriously injured ... which is good for the dude in the blue shirt, considering Cody is constantly training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing and Muay Thai fighting.

Bottom line -- props to Cody for not killing the guy.

Amanda Bynes puffed a Camel cigarette on the streets of NYC Friday evening ... then rolled into the Cartier store wearing sweatpants ... and the situation continues to be desperate with no happy resolution.

Bynes -- sporting a bandage under her eye -- walked around the Upper East Side Friday before hitting up the fancy jewelry store.

Doesn't look like she bought anything ... as she left the store, undercover.

We spoke with multiple people who saw Amanda in Union Square last night as well ... and they say she seemed very paranoid. They also tell us she was speaking to inanimate objects like a tree.

Amanda Bynes landed in New York City Friday morning with a large Band-Aid across her face.

Bynes was walking through the airport, fussing with her freshly dyed hair with a sweatshirt tied around her waist. The strangest part of her appearance was the huge bandage under her right eye ... covering most of her cheek.

As TMZ first reported, Bynes was spotted at LAX before her Thursday night flight and she was acting very strange. Unclear if she had the bandage in L.A.

People close to Amanda are saying ... before they can take action to get her help, she has to pose a danger to herself or others. It's possible this is a sign of that.

Amanda Bynes is off to NYC ... and she is not well.

Amanda was at LAX Thursday night at an airport restaurant, acting bizarre, painting her face with excessive amounts of makeup.

Sources connected to Amanda tell us she was visibly high all day, talking to herself and complaining about her life.

The pics below are from a Thousand Oaks, CA hair salon, where Amanda got a dye job. She was there for several hours -- again acting bizarre -- before heading to the airport.

"Evel Dick" Donato says a romp with a Vegas stripper is why he's HIV positive ... so he thinks.

Dick tells TMZ ... he had unprotected sex with the stripper -- who he says got her period during intercourse. Dick says, "When I woke up, she was gone and I looked like I had murdered someone."

Donato was diagnosed in 2011 ... from blood tests administered on "Big Brother." Donato says he left the show and broke the news to his mother and his girlfriend ... calling it the "hardest conversation I have ever had to have."

Dick says his GF -- who tested negative -- was amazing ... assuring him they would get through it. She stuck by him for the next two years, until they split in 2013. They're appearing on "Couples Therapy" to see if they can re-ignite their relationship.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban tells TMZ Sports ... he's not worried about the Ebola scare in Texas ... but he's instructed his players to NOT travel to Africa for the time being.

Cuban also says he's instructed his players -- who habitually visit sick people in local hospitals -- to not make an in-person visit with the Ebola patient who's being treated in Dallas ... for obvious reasons.

Charlie Sheen admits he went crazy in a dentist's chair last week ... but insists he was NOT on drugs -- he had a horrible reaction to nitrous oxide ... and the technician who is making the allegation is just bitter because she was fired for violating the law.

Charlie's rep, Jeff Ballard, tells TMZ ... Charlie was on meds for a shoulder injury and the combo of the Rx he was on along with the nitrous caused the reaction. We're told Charlie's arms did flail and he accidentally knocked over the dental instruments on the tray, but that was it.

Furthermore ... Charlie's lawyer, Marty Singer, tells TMZ, "The story is being made up by this woman [the dental technician] who was fired on Friday for violating HIPAA by telling her son Charlie was in the office. It got back to Charlie and the dentist fired her."

As we reported ... the technician told cops the dentist told her Charlie came at him with a knife and his bodyguard said he was on rock cocaine.

But law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the dentist was interviewed Thursday and was clear with cops ... the technician was LYING. There was no mention of drugs and NO KNIFE.

NY Giants co-owner Steve Tisch is clearly not worried about the Ebola scare in Dallas -- telling us the G-Men have nothing to worry about when they head to Big D to play the Cowboys later this season.

Tisch was leaving Dan Tana's restaurant in West Hollywood last night when we brought up the efforts to contain the virus after officials confirmed that it had reached Dallas.

"I think the Cowboys are gonna get it first," Tisch joked ... clearly not worried about a possible "Outbreak" style epidemic.

Tisch then started down a path to crack a joke about Jerry Jones ... but stopped himself.

So we finished it.

Charlie's lawyer Marty Singer calls the allegations "completely fabricated." He adds, "No bodyguard made the absurd statement to the dentist. Charlie had a bad reaction to the noxious gas put in his mouth and nose."

Charlie Sheen clearly doesn't like going to the dentist, because he's under investigation for assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly going nuts in a dental chair in a rock cocaine-fueled rage ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Charlie was at an L.A. dental office last Thursday for an abscess. He sat in the chair as the dental technician placed a mask over his face to administer nitrous oxide, when she says Charlie went insane ... flailing his arms and striking her.

The technician told cops she walked out of the room as Charlie's security guard entered. Charlie's personal dentist was there along with the oral surgeon. There was a lot of commotion and the technician says when Charlie's dentist finally came out he told her Charlie pulled a knife and went after him. The dentist wasn't hurt.

The technician also told cops the bodyguard told the dentist Charlie was high on rock cocaine.

We're told there's an active LAPD investigation and cops are looking at a possible battery against the technician and felony assault with a deadly weapon for the alleged knife attack on the dentist.

We're told cops want to interview Charlie and the dentist before sending the case over to the L.A. County D.A., who will decide whether to prosecute.

We reached out to Charlie ... so far, nothing back.
