Harrison Ford hopped in an airplane cockpit NOT built for World War II, and ended up flying -- and, more importantly, landing -- safely in L.A. this weekend.

This was the first time Ford was spotted flying a small plane since he crashed on a golf course back in March. This weekend's plane had room for a co-pilot, and Harrison had one with him ... better safe than sorry.

He also made a surprise appearance at Comic-Con on Saturday ... showing he's physically healed from the crash.

A Beverly Hills sushi restaurant turned into a catwalk this weekend -- when Kendall and Caitlyn Jenner rolled through for a quick lunch date.

The two met up at Sugarfish ... where Kendall and her friend Hailey Baldwin showed up in workout gear after a gym session.

But Caitlyn was WORKIN' IT -- showin' off the gams in a pencil skirt while the paparazzi snapped away.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are in lockstep on at least one thing -- their wedding rings stay in the picture ... for now.

Kim Kardashian is enraged that a photo agency is hawking pictures it claims to show her lying naked at her pool, and she's threatened to haul their asses into court.

Kim's lawyer, Marty Singer, fired off a letter to X17, an L.A. paparazzi agency, claiming the company is hawking pics that were taken in a helicopter hovering over Kim's Hidden Hills home. Singer claims the photog broke the law by taking the pic in a chopper with a telephoto lens.

Singer says even worse ... X17 is lying when it claims Kim was naked. He says she was wearing a blue bikini and when she saw the helicopter she grabbed a towel to cover up.

Singer warned X17 if they sell the pics, they will face big damages for invasion of privacy.

Singer may have gotten through to the agency ... they took the pics off the website.

Shia LaBeouf made it out of South Dakota -- after a couple wild weeks -- but he's still wearing the same damn clothes he was sporting in the Badlands.

LaBeouf was out in L.A. ... taking a Sunday afternoon stroll with his mother, Shayna Saide -- and something about him looked familiar. The last time we saw Shia was late last week dancing around a hotel parking lot in SD with his film crew, and he clearly LOVES that sleeveless black shirt.

Question is -- does he love it enough to wash it every now and then?

Jimmy Fallon's healing his aching left hand in style ... hitching a ride to the Hamptons to close out the holiday weekend.

Jimmy's injured fingers and hand were fully wrapped in a cast Sunday in Manhattan as he hopped a helicopter bound for the Hamptons -- 10 days after he nearly lost a digit falling at home.

The 'Tonight Show' is in repeats now ... so we're guessing Fallon's using his time off for some quality R&R out on the Island.
