Britney Spears Has Lost Her Kids

Published | Updated

TMZ has learned Britney Spears has lost physical custody of her kids.

L.A. County Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon issued an order today, stating that Kevin Federline, the boys' father, "is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 12:00 PM until further order of the court."

Judge Gordon had ordered Spears to undergo random drug testing and take parenting classes. Sources say Federline's powerhouse lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan (left), raised the issue that Spears was driving without a valid California driver's license, something first reported by TMZ.

X17 is reporting that Spears took the kids to the drive-thru at Carl's Jr. at 12:02 this afternoon and surrendered the kids to K-Fed's bodyguard three minutes later.

A source connected with the case says Spears was not focusing on the judge's order last month, and she may not have attended the parenting classes or performed the required drug and alcohol testing.

Britney's Manager Says 'Gimme Less'

Published | Updated

Britney's manager has jumped ship, and the reason sounds strangely similar to her former lawyer's woes over Spears.

Manager Jeff Kwatinetz issued a statement saying, "It saddens us to confirm media reports that we have terminated our professional relationship with Britney Spears." Noting Kwatinetz repped Brit for a grand total of one month, he continued, "We believe Britney is enormously talented, and has made a terrific record, but current circumstances have prevented us from properly doing our job."

So what are the "circumstances?" Maybe they're similar to what we hear about Laura Wasser going South on Spears. We're told Wasser questioned Brit's judgment but simply could not control her.

Sources close to the situation tell us Kwatinetz had similar problems, notably at the VMAs, when Britney decided to switch the costume she planned to wear for the glitterated swamp bikini, without telling anyone. Ding dang, y'all.

We're told after the VMAs, the firm demanded to meet with her but she refused. They felt she needed help, but she wouldn't hear it.

Cops on the Hunt for Kid Rock After VMA Fight

Published | Updated

TMZ has learned that the Las Vegas Police Department is on the hunt for Kid Rock after he allegedly "clocked" Tommy Lee at the MTV VMAs in Las Vegas Sunday night.

According to security at the Palms Hotel, where the awards took place, the LVMPD has asked for Rock's room number at the hotel and any leads they might have regarding his current whereabouts.

Details as to what started the fight are still sketchy, but an eyewitness at the awards tells TMZ that "Tommy got it pretty bad."

Both Kid and Lee were escorted out of the awards by Palms security moments after the altercation, caught on camera by Reuters photographer Steven Marcus, took place.

TMZ has learned that Palms owner George Maloof was questioned by police, who was overheard telling cops, "I have no idea."

According to the AP, rap producer Rich Nice was an eyewitness. He says that although Kid Rock threw the only punch that landed, it was Tommy Lee who started the fight. "It looked like Tommy Lee initiated it because Kid Rock was ignoring him," said Nice, who was two tables away. "And Tommy Lee kind of antagonized him. And then when Tommy Lee stood up, it looked a little weird, like 'Yo, what?"'

"When Tommy stands up is when Kid hit him the first time with a backhand," Nice continued. "And then Tommy Lee looked like he was trying to get at him to aggressively retaliate and then Kid Rock hits Tommy Lee again -- bong. And then security grabs Tommy Lee in a headlock and pulls him off."

Foxy Brown Gets a Year in the Slammer!

Published | Updated

Foxy Brown will spend the next year in jail for violating her probation -- and she's going straight back to a cell on Rikers Island, where she's spent the last two weeks.

TMZ was in the courtroom when it all went down, and Judge Melissa Jackson slammed Foxy's pleas for mercy, calling her a "great actress," and saying that if this were the first time she'd apologized, she might be believable, but not now. We're told that Foxy was visibly distraught by the verdict, and her mother refused to talk to reporters outside. Foxy originally was sentenced to the probation after an assault on two employees at a nail salon in Manhattan.

Outside the courtroom, cops from New Jersey -- where she allegedly lied to cops about her birthdate and state of residence -- told TMZ that she got what she deserved. Interesting note: if she serves the full term, Foxy will give birth in prison.

Judge Says J.Lo's Ex Has to Pay!

Published | Updated

Don't mess with Jenny from the block!

TMZ has learned that a judge just awarded the singer/actor nearly $545,000 in a breach-of-contract lawsuit she filed against her first husband, former restaurant manager Ojani Noa, back in April of 2006.

According to the suit, Noa had demanded $5 million from Lopez to keep him from selling a tell-all book about the star. In January of 2005, Noa allegedly sent a letter to Lopez's lawyer, indicating he intended to shop around a book proposal about his ex-wife. Lopez then says Noa wrote a letter saying he'd scrap the book if she paid him $5 million.

The judge also issued a permanent injunction against Noa, barring him from publishing "negative, denigrating and disparaging" details about La Lopez.

Michael Vick to Judge: I'm Guilty As Charged

The report claims that next Monday, Vick will enter a guilty plea to charges of felony conspiracy. Vick's lawyer is quoted as saying, "Mike's accepting full responsibility. He's going to do everything he can personally and professionally to make this situation right."

UPDATE: The NFL has issued the following statement: "We are aware of Michael Vick's decision to enter a guilty plea to the federal charges against him and accept responsibility for his conduct. We totally condemn the conduct outlined in the charges, which is inconsistent with what Michael Vick previously told both our office and the Falcons. We will conclude our own review under the league's personal conduct policy as soon as possible. In the meantime, we have asked the Falcons to continue to refrain from taking action pending a decision by the commissioner."
