A very sick Ryan Seacrest made it through "American Idol" last night, but in the process he may have infected every single person who shares the stage with him.

We broke the story -- Ryan came close to bailing on the show. He had a terrible stomach virus, was throwing up the night before and all day yesterday, and went through 2 IV bags in a matter of hours. He didn't make it to the rehearsal and Nigel Lythgoe was ready to step in.

A black surgical mask that Michael Jackson allegedly wore the night before he died in 2009 has hit the auction block -- and the bids have already surpassed $20,000.

According to the auction house -- Nate D. Sanders Auctions -- MJ wore the mask (above) while rehearsing for his "This Is It" concert tour on June 24th, 2009 ... the singer's last ever rehearsal.

The auction house claims the mask -- made of silk fabric, personally designed by the King of Pop -- contains visible traces of MJ's stage make-up along with a strand of his black hair.

One of MJ's former bodyguards was in possession of the mask, and swears by its authenticity. MJ famously wore surgical masks outdoors as a form of disguise.

Jimmy Fallon got one hell of an exclusive out of Barack Obama on his talk show last night ... he got the POTUS to finally open up about the "knuckleheads" he 86'd in the wake of the Secret Service hooker scandal.

Obama told Fallon ... "The Secret Service guys are incredible ... they protect me, they protect Michelle, they protect our girls, they protect our officials all around the world."

Just 7 months after his life completely fell apart, former "Real Housewives of DC" star Tareq Salahi has decided to take the only logical next step -- run for Governor of Virginia.

Salahi -- whose estranged wife left him back in September to bang the guitarist from Journey -- tells TMZ, he wants to formally announce his candidacy for VA Governor in the upcoming election.

Salahi says he wants to use his extensive life experience as a vineyard owner and reality TV famewhore to change how things are run in his home state.

Salahi tells us, "I am troubled to see how our current political figureheads continue to waste tax payer dollars! I’m a big believer in limited government, keeping taxes, regulation and litigation low, and if I do win, everyone is invited to crash the inauguration!”

There's a hilarious explanation behind Brian McKnight's new x-rated song -- the singer tells TMZ Live, he's been holed up in his house going stir-crazy with a bum ankle ... and the dirty ditty came to him in a moment of sheer boredom.

Porn star Lucy Lee took a serious pounding Friday morning after another car smashed into her Mercedes -- but law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Lucy was wasted ... and the accident was all her fault.

The site -- IsAnyoneUp.com -- is known for "revenge" porn, allowing users to anonymously publish naked photos of anyone.

As for Kiowa Gordon -- pics of his naked body surfaced on the site earlier this week, showing the actor grabbing his genitals.

Kiowa immediately called his lawyers, who then fired off a cease and desist letter to the site.

The very next day, the website was purchased by an anti-bullying website -- BullyVille -- for an undisclosed sum, and now redirects to the BullyVille homepage.

It's unclear if Kiowa's cease and desist letter did the trick -- but we're told he's finally able to breathe ... because the pics are gone ... for now.

It's been nearly six months since we've heard a peep from Mariah Yeater, the girl who claimed to have birthed Justin Bieber's baby -- but The Biebs resurrected her yesterday via Twitter ... with a little help from Borat.

Yeater's case was tossed out of court and she's been radio silent since last November, but Bieber decided to call her out anyway.
