Looks like WGN has some serious atoning to do today ... because for some reason, the network used infamous NAZI imagery for a news story about Yom Kippur.

Check out the graphic used during a segment about the Jewish high holiday on Tuesday night. That yellow star look familar???

Yeah, it's because it's the same yellow badge the Nazis forced the Jews to wear during the 1940s.

A Chicago lawyer took notice and called out WGN -- writing, "Holy crap, @WGNNews, this is your stock photo for a Jewish holiday?? Nobody thought that's a bad choice of photo?"

WGN responded, "We are truly sorry for inadvertently using an offensive image in our story. We apologize and deeply regret the error."

UFC legend Tank Abbott is doubling down on his attack on female fighters -- saying NO WOMAN belongs in the octagon ... including Ronda Rousey.

Tank appeared on "TMZ Hollywood Sports' today after claiming he would post a $100k prize to any woman who could beat him in a fight ... but they would have to make him a sandwich if they lost.

Abbott -- who admits he'd been boozing -- says he's dead serious noting ... "I'll smack the living daylights out of any woman."

When asked what he would say to someone calling him a chauvinist pig -- Tank replied, "I'd say you're right and vote for Donald Trump."

Corey Feldman landed the role of a lifetime ... villain in a real-life disaster movie. It's a life or death scenario and his co-star is the California drought.

Corey: Yeah, yeah, you'll get your money. My business manager's on it.

Operator: Mr. Feldman, we are in the middle of a drought, and I can't help but notice you do a lot of watering.

Corey: Trees gotta eat. Grass has gotta grow.

Operator: Mr. Feldman, if we don't get our money pronto, we have no choice. We'll have to take you to court.

Waka Flocka Flame says people who change from men to women and vice versa are "evil."

The rapper was on Charlamagne Tha God's Breakfast Club Friday when he was asked about Caitlyn Jenner. Waka says what Caitlyn and others like her have done is "rebuking God," and they've given in to "the devil playing tricks on" their minds.

He's upset that Jenner and others send messages on TV to impressionable kids ... and adults need to be more responsible.

A tattoo artist who appeared on the TV show "Best Ink" got nailed by cops for burglarizing her ex's apartment, but luckily ... she can drown her sorrows in the $200 beer stein she allegedly jacked.

Jessica Rotwein -- a Season 1 star on 'Ink' -- was arrested Thursday for the burglary cops say she pulled off back in March at her ex-boyfriend's Bronx apartment ... where security cams caught her coming through the front doors.

Rotwein was apparently fond of beverages -- she allegedly made off with the high-priced mug, 2 shot glasses, and $40 coffee maker. She also took her mail and a $15 shower caddy, 'cause y'know ... hygiene.

We're assuming it was a bad breakup.

"The View" may need a nurse to stop the bleeding, because TMZ has learned 2 major advertisers have cut the cord after the women went off on the nursing profession.

Johnson & Johnson and Eggland's Best are pulling ads from the ABC show. EB seems to be making things final, saying, "In light of the comments about the profession recently made ... we will no longer be advertising." J&J says they've "paused our advertising accordingly."

Co-hosts Michelle Collins and Joy Behar criticized Miss Colorado during the talent portion of the "Miss America" pageant Sunday for wearing her nurse-garb.

The two tried to smooth things over with an apology on Wednesday but it looks like the big business wigs weren't buyin' it.

We reached out to "The View" for comment ... so far no word back.

"The League" star Steve Rannazzisi -- who copped to lying about escaping the 9/11 attack -- just got publicly ripped by Pete Davidson from 'SNL' ... whose firefighter dad was killed on 9/11.

Appropriately, Davidson was one of the first celebs to react to Rannazzisi's confession that he lied for years about being in the World Trade Center. Pete sarcastically tweeted, "It's ok @SteveRannazzisi people make mistakes ... Can't wait to meet my dad for lunch later."

Rannazzisi then stepped in a pile of s**t by replying, "thank you pete. i really appreciate it."

That's when Pete owned him with a simple, "I think you missed the point." However, he added the whole thing sucks because he thinks Steve is "actually a funny comic and I love The League. It's f**ked up."

Pete and Steve have since deleted their Twittter exchange.

James Harden went and bit the hand that's feeding him $200 million -- and now Adidas is pissed.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Harden was spotted wearing Nike Air Jordans as he left a movie theater with GF Khloe Kardashian -- even though he just signed that sweet deal to endorse Adidas.

Make no mistake ... Adidas expects a change. The company's North American pres told ESPN, Harden wearing their brand off the court as well is "part of the deal."

The Beard's deal kicks in on Oct. 1 ... so he's got 15 more days to enjoy his Jordans. After that, he better hide those suckers away for 13 years.

Mike Huckabee is passing the blame for that whole Kim Davis-"Eye of the Tiger" fiasco, and his point is clear ... DON'T SUE ME!

We spoke to the presidential hopeful about last week's Davis rally where the Survivor hit blared over her entrance. As we reported, the band was pissed and threatened legal action since no one asked for permission.

Sounds like Huckabee's aware of the risk, because you gotta see his reaction when we asked who picked out the song.

As for Davis returning to work at the county clerk's office -- Huckabee told us if he thinks she'll stand her ground on gay marriage, or find middle ground.

Salt-N-Pepa's 90s Fest appearance was a serious hit for Pepa ... who took a NASTY fall while trying to bust out some daredevil moves on a wet stage.

The rap duo was performing Saturday night in Brooklyn, and while "Sweet Child O' Mine" was blaring ... Pep tried jumping between speakers at the front edge of the stage.

She did NOT make it very far.

Kim Zolciak went nuts at LAX Monday night, claiming Delta was trying to separate her from her luggage -- but the trouble really started when she kinda bombed on 'Dancing with the Stars."

Kim was irate ... it appears she checked in for her flight at the last minute and the ticket agent said it was too late to check luggage.

Kim, who's on "Dancing with the Stars," protested, saying she has a lot of expensive stuff that could get lost. One of her people also went ballistic ... apparently he didn't get a boarding pass.

She went on Twitter to express her displeasure.

Kim's people tell us the mix-up was all over boarding passes ... that Delta couldn't find them for her daughter and hairstylist on the 10:10 PM flight. She says they all got re-booked on the 11:45 PM flight, but then her daughter got bumped to the wait list. Kim's rant was effective -- everyone eventually ended up getting on the 11:45 PM.

Apparently the folks at Delta didn't see the 'DWTS' premiere. If they had, they might have expected her to have a short fuse.

The NYPD just released video of a NYPD plainclothed cop ferociously grabbing former tennis star James Blake, throwing him to the ground and cuffing him.

The video shows Blake's description was not an undersell. You see him standing just outside the door of a Mid-City hotel when the cop swoops in, shoving him to the ground.

Police Commissioner Bill Bratton has apologized, saying Blake looks very similar to a guy who was a suspect in a credit card fraud case. Turns out that guy was innocent and the real suspect is still on the loose.

The Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office has opened an internal investigation into allegations that several deputies at a New Orleans nightclub took NO ACTION when they were told a Saints star had allegedly slapped a woman's ass inside.

The whole situation involved Saints defensive lineman Cam Jordan -- who was accused of slapping a woman's butt and roughing up her boyfriend at Republic nightclub this weekend.

The alleged victims claimed they immediately reported the incident to 3 deputies who were working at the club -- "but the deputies neither investigated the incident nor did they take action."

Now, Sheriff Marlin Gusan has issued a statement saying, "We will be reviewing the actions of the deputies to determine if any policies or procedures were violated."

He adeed, "We will follow all leads in this investigation."
