NY Jets Running Back ARRESTED Drugs & Guns
New York Jets running back Michael Goodson was arrested in New Jersey early this morning after cops say the 25-year-old was in possession of weed and a loaded handgun.
According to cops, Goodson -- who was signed by the Jets during the off-season to compete for the starting RB job -- was a passenger in an SUV that was parked along Route 80 in Denville, NJ.
Cops say both Goodson and the driver of the vehicle appeared WASTED when they approached the vehicle.
During the encounter, cops say Goodson was found to be in possession of weed (less than 50 grams) -- PLUS a loaded .45 caliber and hollow-point bullets.

Cops say both Goodson and the driver were so intoxicated that they were both transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the SUV was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
According to local reports, both Goodson and the driver were released from the hospital and into the custody of the NJ State Police. They're both still in custody.
If you're unfamiliar with Michael Goodson -- it's probably because he only has 3 career TDs.

Orlando Brown Another Day Another Bench Warrant
What's worse -- getting a bench warrant issued for your arrest or having to take a moment to figure out which DUI arrest case the warrant is for?
Case in point ... TMZ has learned "That's So Raven" star Orlando Brown was on the receiving end of another bench warrant last week. Ironically enough, the warrant has nothing to do with Brown's arrest for DUI last month.
Instead, the bench warrant was issued on Wednesday because Brown failed to show for a court date stemming from a 2011 DUI ... in which he was supposed to show he had completed an alcohol program and attended AA meetings as part of his probation for that case.
In the past year, Brown had not one, not two, BUT THREE bench warrants issued against him stemming from the 2011 case.
Calls to Brown's rep were not returned.

We're told the warrants stemmed from two separate cases -- one for driving on a suspended license and one for his recent cocaine bust. It's unclear what triggered the warrants ... but it's likely he simply blew off court dates.

Rapper R. Prophet Pleads NOT GUILTY In Bloody Arrest
Ex-Nappy Roots rapper R. Prophet pled NOT GUILTY to all charges from his arrest last month ... the one where he says cops handcuffed him, tased him and beat him bloody.
Prophet previously told TMZ his arrest was "definitely racial profiling" ... he was riding in a car in Kentucky on April 20 when the driver was arrested for DUI. Prophet claims things got ugly when police asked him to step out -- and then started beating him for no reason.
Kentucky State Police saw it differently ... claiming they had to tase him multiple times for resisting arrest, and kicking the back window of a cop car.
Prophet pled not guilty to charges of public intoxication, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, menacing, 3rd degree assault and criminal mischief. He's due back in court July 5.
Cops also said they thought the rapper was delusional during the arrest ... proclaiming himself a "prophet" -- but he says he was just screaming his name, "I'm R. Prophet!!!"
Kinda like Reese. But beyond.

Otis Nixon Former Baseball Star ARRESTED FOR CRACK
Former MLB star Otis Nixon was arrested over the weekend in Atlanta after cops say they discovered a crack pipe and what appeared to be several crack rocks inside his car ... and it seems he's using the infamous "the crack belongs to my son" defense.
According to an incident report from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, 54-year-old Nixon was pulled over just after midnight on Saturday after witnesses called police to report a Dodge Ram weaving all over the road.
During the stop, Nixon -- who played for the Braves, Indians and Expos -- was searched ... and cops say they found a pipe for smoking crack cocaine in Nixon's pants pocket and an item believed to be a crack rock in the driver's seat.
But that's not all ... cops say they found ANOTHER pipe and more suspected crack rocks in the floor board of the driver's side ... along with even more drug paraphernalia.
Now get this -- according to the report, Nixon told the sheriff's deputy that the substance they found in his car was indeed crack cocaine, but he said the pipes and drugs belonged to HIS SON and that he had been planning to get rid of the pipe.
Police say they conducted field sobriety tests and determined Nixon was NOT under the influence of crack cocaine or alcohol.
Nixon was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of a drug-related object.
Nixon -- who played 17 seasons in the bigs and stole 620 career bases -- is still in custody. Bail has been set at $11,880.

Lil Flip Arrest Warrant Quashed My Bad, Your Honor
Lil Flip is no longer a wanted man after an incident with an AR-15 rifle ... 'cause the rapper's lawyer just got his arrest warrant recalled, blaming Flip's crappy scheduling skills.
TMZ broke the story ... the arrest warrant was issued last month for Flip (real name Wesley Weston) after the rapper no-showed at a hearing in his drug/gun possession case.
But Flip's lawyer says it was all an honest mistake, submitting docs to the court this week, in which he claims Flip was unaware of the April court date and missed it completely unintentionally.
The judge bought it and recalled the warrant, setting a new court date for July.
As for the case itself -- Flip told TMZ, he has a license for the AR-15 rifle that was found in his car during the traffic stop on Christmas ... and the blunts were a special kind of tobacco. A likely story.
