The chances exes Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson would end up seated next to each other on the same flight -- 100%, of course.

Somehow, the former couple ended up elbow-to-elbow in first class as they jetted out of Toronto. Cody didn't look too bent out of shape though in a snapchat he posted ... with the caption, "when u get seated next to ur ex on a plane."

They were both at the Much Music Video Awards over the weekend, and reportedly managed to avoid each other. No such luck on the way home.

Britney Spears is once again on the market ... she's split from boyfriend Charlie Ebersol.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ ... Britney and Charlie -- who had been dating for the past eight months -- did not have a messy breakup. As TMZ first reported, when the pair got together -- before their first date, even -- Brit's dad made Charlie sign a non-disclosure agreement ... so don't count on him spilling the beans on the relationship any time soon.

The "Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood" star is calling BS on Ray J's claim that HE bought the whip for her last year. Princess was in Bev Hills -- walking, mind you -- when she claimed SHE paid for it, but Ray J jacked it back.

Fast forward to 2:01 AM. Chris leaves the club. Exactly 1 minute later, Rihanna makes her exit. And then, at 2:04 AM, Karim surfaces and leaves the club.

Terrence Howard claims his ex-wife tampered with a witness in an effort to cover up her alleged extortion plot to squeeze the actor for a fortune.

Terrence's attorney, Brian Kramer, filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- in which Terrence claims Michelle Ghent tried to strong-arm his brother's wife so she wouldn't blow the lid on the alleged extortion plot.

According to the docs, Michelle told Yvonne Howard she was going to scare Terrence into paying her big money ... scare him by threatening to go public about sexual trysts and other lurid info.

But Terrence says when Michelle learned Yvonne was on his witness list to tell the judge about the extortion, she went to Yvonne and put on a full-court press, trying to dissuade her from taking the stand or being deposed.

Yvonne says in a new declaration, Michelle pressured her, explaining no one could force her to testify. Yvonne also says Michelle urged her to keep their conversation secret, and Yvonne says Michelle pressed so hard it felt like plain intimidation.

Florida State football coach Jimbo Fisher is calling it quits with his wife Candi ... with the two officially separating.

Fisher is one of the highest paid college football coaches in the country ... having signed a $21 million contract with FSU back in January.

Jimbo and Candi -- who have 2 kids together -- have already lawyered up and are already hashing out the terms of the divorce ... this according to the Tallahassee Democrat.

In response to Safaree's new and bitter song all about his relationship with Minaj, the "Pink Friday" rapper let a few things off her chest ... tweeting, "Lesson: don't cheat on a loyal woman. God will punish u. When he does, tell people the truth. The truth may set u free. Love. Always."

Minaj deleted that tweet, along with several others, but made sure not to take down the one that probably will hurt Safaree the most: "And just for the record, I'm in love with meek."
