TMZ has learned Kevin Federline may fight Britney Spears for custody of his children. Federline has not had much time to react to Spears' decision to end the marriage, and that's because she didn't tell him in advance that she was filing for divorce. Federline was caught flatfooted when TMZ broke the story Tuesday that Britney filed legal papers in L.A. County Superior Court.

Spears has asked for sole custody of the couple's two small children. TMZ is told Federline is thinking of challenging that, even though Spears has functioned as the primary,

if not sole parent, as Federline tours the country hawking his CD.

Federline almost certainly cannot challenge the prenup. Sources say hotshot divorce lawyer Laura Wasser drafted an air-tight prenuptial agreement before the couple married. So Federline's only chance of cashing in is by mounting an ugly custody fight, trying to force a more lucrative settlement. But friends of Spears say Britney will fight a holy war to prevent Federline from getting custody and, given his track record -- or lack of it -- with the kids, it would appear Spears has the clear advantage.

Faux Federleezy (aka Psycho Mike) previewed his new single, "You Get Custody, I Get Paid," on this morning's show. As usual, the rapper dropped some serious knowledge, saying, "My Lamborghini and Cadillac won't pay for themselves," and "I ain't movin' out of Malibu to no apartment in the Valley, you know what I'm sayin'?"

TMZ obtained the legal papers, filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." In her petition, Spears asks for both legal and physical custody of the couple's two children, one-year old Sean Preston and two-month old Jayden James, with Federline getting reasonable visitation rights.

As for money, sources tell TMZ the couple, who married in Oct. 2004, has an iron-clad prenup. Not surprisingly, Spears is waiving her right to spousal support. She's also asking the judge to make each party pay their own attorney's fees.

Spears gives the date of separation as yesterday, the same day she flaunted her incredible revamped physique during a surprise appearance on David Letterman's show. Sources tell TMZ there was no single reason for Britney pulling the plug, rather, it was "a string of events."

Spears has hired powerhouse celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has repped a number of celebs, including Angelina Jolie, Nick Lachey and Kiefer Sutherland. We're told Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe asked Wasser to rep both of them in their split, but Wasser declined for personal reasons.

Significantly, Britney lists the date of her marriage as October 6, 2004. There was an uproar around the time of the wedding because the highly publicized "secret" ceremony was held on Sept. 18th, leading many to question the validity of the ceremony. Now the divorce documents indicate that the lavish ceremony was not the official wedding.

Sir Paul McCartney's recent marital troubles got you down? Let's not think about Paul as the guy who married that woman that nobody seems to like, but as the musician who has endured for over forty years. What better way to to keep the dream alive then with some Macca memorabilia?!

Once upon a time, Paul was in a little band called The Beatles. Well, you can bid on a Beatles Flicker pin from that bygone era. One image shows the entire band, and when you tilt it, a portrait of Paul appears with the words "I Love Paul."

If you're a guitarist, you might want to bid on this Paul McCartney autographed hollow-body electric guitar. Nevermind that Paul plays bass guitar, it's still a pretty nifty conversation piece.

We knew it was coming and here it is. Shanna has responded to Travis' MySpace rant on her official MySpace page. "I am NOT the one running around the world with the town drug obsessed clown" the estranged Mrs. Barker barks, in a clear reference to Paris Hilton. Meow! If the Hilton/Moakler feud had fizzled out, this remark will spark the snark.

The actress states that she feels that battling out their "separation in the public arena is ... in poor taste," but she still must defend herself. She goes on to claim that Travis is only revealing parts of the story which allow him to escape unscathed.

The "Dancing" starlet attacks the fact that Barker is "flaunting his spiteful and vindictive relationships" in her face.

As for the "Divorce Party," Shanna writes that she will, in fact, enjoy it. She will celebrate a day that "wasn't the end of her life, but rather the beginning." According to Moakler, this will be "the last time she defends herself" against people "whose motives are to LIE and knock others down."

Looks like Donald Rumsfeld should be running this mess o' war.

Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler's marriage may be over, but sparks are still flying. Once again, shots are being fired from MySpace. Last night, Travis posted on his official MySpace page, dissing the "Divorce Party" being hosted tomorrow night by Shanna at Light nightclub in Las Vegas. Barker moaned that he is saddened by the event, which celebrates the end of their wedded, er, bliss. Barker says it brings on the "urge to puke."

He goes on to say that he is in no way shocked by Shanna's party antics, especially since "this is the same wife that emailed me to tell me she would be sleeping with her new boyfriend in my bed the day of our anniversary 2 days ago" (sic). Travis claims that Shanna is trying to play the victim, however, if that's the case with this party, we think it will have the opposite effect.

Besides venting on MySpace, Travis says that his next step will be simple: "I'm gonna say a long prayer for her, she needs it." Let's hope the Lord is listening.

Prior to the red carpets and acting accolades, Kate tells Parade magazine she grew up being called "blubber" and sought comfort in the arms of her first love Stephen Tredre.

Regarding Tredre, Winslet says, "He was the most important person in my life. My life revolved around him." In 1994, Tredre was diagnosed with bone cancer and Kate rushed to his side.

In late '97, the same week that the movie that would make her a household name, "Titanic", opened, Tredre died. Kate says it was "unbelievably heartbreaking."

Winslet managed to pick up the pieces and, after a failed marriage to James Threapleton which produced her daughter Mia, eventually fell in love with Mendes. In 2003, the NY-based couple had a son, Joe.

With her career and personal life now at the top of their game, Kate's life couldn't be better. "I love being married to Sam and I love motherhood more than anything."

TMZ has obtained court documents in which David Hasselhoff claims his estranged wife, Pamela Bach, was "intoxicated or on drugs" at their daughter's sweet 16 party.

In documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Hasselhoff says Bach "often wrongly accused me of having affairs in the presence of our children, and to say things like 'go f-ck . . . . '" In the legal papers, Hasselhoff continues, "This was especially true with respect to our daughter's former nanny, Becky." Hasselhoff says "Respondent unfairly harbors an irrational obsession and jealous rage toward our nanny, and persists in accusing her of wanting to replace (Bach) as my wife and (Bach) as the mother of our two children."

"In documents ... Bach tested positive for cocaine."

And the accusations continue. Hasselhoff says in the documents that Bach "broke into my former residence this past Father's Day..."

In documents submitted to the court, a lab report concludes that Bach tested positive for cocaine.

And there's more. In a transcript of a telephone conversation, Pamela makes the following accusations to David: "You've abused me, you've ____ terrorized me, you have done too many women. You're psycho man. You're psycho." She continues, according to the transcript: "I'm not going to be O.J. Simpson like you say to my friends, I with (sic) I was O.J., I could kill Nicole. I'm not going to let you kill me."

TMZ spoke with Bach's lawyer, Susan Wiesner, who would not comment on the allegations. She did say that the documents in question should have been sealed and that Hasselhoff''s conduct by disclosing these records "is an intentional effort on his part to besmirch her character and her reputation. Mrs. Hasselhoff could respond to each and every allegation with a litany of allegations that have been filed with the court regarding Mr. Hasselhoff's alcohol problems and his phone calls, etc., but she doesn't want to engage in the media in order to protect the children."

Bach called TMZ to say "I haven't done coke." Bach adds that her hair samples were taken to a private lab selected by Hasselhoff. She adds that some of the hairs in question were actually extensions. She says she has since been tested and the results were negative.

Sources involved in the nasty Sara Evans divorce case tell TMZ that Craig Schelske, Evans' estranged husband, accused her of having affairs with celebrities.

We're told while they were still living together as husband and wife, Schelske accused his wife of having affairs with country singer Kenny Chesney and other unnamed "associates in the music business." Sources also tell TMZ Schelske accused Evans of having an affair with Tony Dovolani, her partner on "Dancing With the Stars."

A rep for Evans, who did not want to be quoted by name, tells TMZ that Schelske's accusations are absurd and untrue.

In her divorce papers, Evans accused Schelske of having an affair with the couple's nanny. Evans also claims Schelske had photos of himself having sex with other women and had at least 100 nude photos of himself in a state of arousal.

As for Evan's connection with Chesney, the two singers toured together back in 2000 and 2001. Chesney was briefly married to actress Renee Zellweger in 2005. Again, Evans' rep says the two singers never had an affair. TMZ has placed calls to reps for Chesney and Dovolani for comment.

Update 7:45 p.m. ET: A rep for Kenny Chesney tells TMZ allegations are: "completely untrue. Sara was the special guest on Kenny's first headlining tour and they're friends. He would NEVER think of her like that. He's saddened by what Sara and her family are going through in this personal situation." The rep adds that if Craig truly did make these accusations Kenny is "disappointed in Craig and the media for perpetuating groundless allegations."

David Hasselhoff's lavish lifestyle could come back to bite him in the swimming trunks. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Hasselhoff's estranged wife Pamela Bach claims during the marriage, the Hoff dropped a cool $100,000 a month on credit card expenses.

Bach is asking the judge to increase child support to $31,546 a month. Bach is also asking to increase her spousal support to $45,463 a month. A Hasselhoff rep tells TMZ that up to now the parties had an informal agreement in which living expenses were paid.

Bach says The Hoff has pleaded poverty in the divorce case, claiming to have made $5,001 a month for the last 12 months (we don't know where the one extra dollar came from). Bach scoffs at Hasselhoff's alleged income, noting he's been on a hit TV show ("America's Got Talent"), published a tell-all book (Making Waves) and has had plum roles in movies ("Sponge Bob Square Pants" and "Click").

Bach's lawyer quotes an article from PEOPLE in her court papers. Hasselhoff tells the magazine, "I could fly to the Eiffel Tower for lunch, have a croissant and come back and not worry about the price."

The Hasselhoff rep tells TMZ that the actor never claimed he made only $5,000 a month.

David Hasselhoff is laughing off rumors that his daughter attempted to commit suicide, calling them a "big ball of tabloid garbage."

Though multiple police sources told TMZ the former "Baywatch" star reported that his younger daughter was "cut" and it was a suicide attempt, Hasselhoff's ex-wife Pamela Bach alleges David used the story to make her look like a bad parent and lied to the cops about it. Bach says it was really a cat scratch. Hasselhoff denies calling 911 about a suicide attempt, but his publicist says the 911 operator may have interpreted it that way.

While promoting his movie "Click" overseas, The Hoff explained his side of the story, saying, "my other daughter told me she scratched herself so I thought, oh my god my daughter's cut herself; not to kill herself, she scratched herself... I still don't know the full story, whether it was the cat or what so I called the paramedics."

TMZ first reported that police and paramedics responded to Hasselhoff''s 911 call Sunday night. Multiple police sources told TMZ the former "Baywatch" star reported that his younger daughter was "cut" and it was a suicide attempt. Now Pamela Bach tells TMZ that her daughter never attempted suicide and that David knew it. Bach claims David used his daughter as a pawn, telling Bach, "You're going down. I'm calling the police."

Bach says her daughter was scratched by the family cat Sunday night at around 6 p.m. She says her daughter was crying uncontrollably, so she called David and suggested that it might be appropriate for the girl to see a psychologist on Monday. At that point Bach claims David began ranting that he would call the police and bring her down.

Bach says at around 8 p.m. the police and paramedics arrived and said that David had called in a suicide attempt, so by law they had to take the girl to the hospital. She was released shortly after arriving there.

Hasselhoff's publicist Judy Katz tells TMZ that Hasselhoff became alarmed when his older daughter called to say her sister was bleeding. Hasselhoff denies telling 911 about a suicide attempt, but his publicist says the 911 operator may have interpreted it that way. Hasselhoff, who was getting ready to board a plane for a film festival, left town without visiting his daughter.

Bach says Hasselhoff deliberately concocted the story to make her look like a bad parent. Hasselhoff denies he even spoke with Bach Sunday night, and says the allegations are false.

The marriage between "Joey" star Matt LeBlanc and wife Melissa is officially over. TMZ has obtained documents filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court that outline the details of their divorce settlement.

The couple will share joint physical and legal custody of their two year-old daughter Marina. The documents outline that Matt is also responsible for 100% of the costs that may stem from private school tuition, uninsured medical costs, the services of a nanny and must pay for his daughter's college expenses. The court says Matt is a "high-wage earner," and will pay $15,000 a month in child support.

As far as his former wife is concerned, the couple had entered into a prenuptial agreement before they were married. Melissa waived her right for spousal support based on a cash amount she received from that agreement, the terms of which are confidential. A source directly connected with the couple, however, tells TMZ that the prenup made Melissa "a very rich person."

The couple was married in May of 2003.

Since their divorce in 2002, Baldwin and Basinger have been involved in an ongoing custody battle over their daughter Ireland.

In the October issue of GQ, Baldwin unleashes a barrage of insults aimed at one of Basinger's lawyers, Judy Bogen. He calls Bogen a "300-pound homunculus whose face looks like a cross between a bulldog and a clenched fist. She's this hideously angry-looking woman. She'd snarl and hiss."

Basinger retorts, "I am appalled by the statements made by Alec Baldwin in GQ. I am sickened by the fact that somebody can speak this way about another human being. My lawyers, Judy Bogen and Neal Hersh, have done nothing but fight to protect my daughter and me from this vile behavior. After reading this article, everybody will finally see what I've known and experienced for many years."

Basinger's lawyer Neal Hersh tells TMZ, "His recent statements in GQ show that he continues to be out of control. This is precisely what Kim has been fighting against all these years."

LeBlanc is getting a divorce from Melissa, his wife of three years. The couple has a two-year-old girl. And the couple has a serious bank account. So why would Matt not lawyer up in a potentially high-stakes divorce?

We're told Matt felt he could do it all himself. TMZ knows the "Friends" star had a prenup so money wasn't going to be an issue. And we're told Matt and Melissa agreed to joint custody. So, perhaps in an effort to save a few bucks, Matt and Melissa went to a mediator. Melissa actually did eventually hire a lawyer. But Matt was a regular Jacoby AND Meyers, going it alone.

Actually, we're told in the last few months, Matt has consulted with celebrity powerhouse lawyer Neal Hersh, a partner in Hersh, Mannis and Bogen. And we're told just last week, Matt formally hired Hersh to put the finishing touches on the remnants of his marriage.

The bottom line -- the guy's a regular Matt-lock!
