Sheen just called in to Fox Sports Radio with Pat O'Brien ... where he claimed during the entire 8-year run on "Men" he felt like "an unwanted relative being given cold coffee at 9pm every night."

And now that show execs have shut down production on "Men" for the rest of the season, Charlie believes the show is also done FOR GOOD ... saying, "Can you imagine going back into the sludge pit with those knuckleheads at this point? Can you imagine? It would go bad quickly."

TMZ has obtained legal documents in the conservatorship case, showing that in December 2008, the assets controlled by Britney's conservators totaled $2,826,362.68.

Now get this ...TMZ has learned ... exactly one year later -- in December, 2009 -- the assets controlled by the conservators swelled to $27,500,000 ... almost a 10 fold increase in 1 year.

Most of the gains came from Britney's wildly successful Circus Tour.

As for the assets at the close of 2008, there's an interesting breakdown. Britney's "furniture and equipment" was valued at $1,551,026. Her jewelry, furs and antiques totaled $264,988.

While Charlie spilled his guts to TMZ yesterday about his hatred for Chuck Lorre, he referred to the "Two and a Half Men" creator as Chaim Levine -- the Hebrew translation of CL's birth name -- which many people felt Charlie used in a mean-spirited attempt to denigrate the Jews.

Now Charlie tells TMZ ... "I was referring to Chuck by his real name, because I wanted to address the man, not the bulls**t TV persona."

FYI -- Chuck's birth name is Charles Levine ... and his Hebrew name is Chaim.

Charlie added, "So you're telling me, anytime someone calls me Carlos Estevez, I can claim they are anti-Latino?"

The letter reads:

What does this say about Haim Levine [Chuck Lorre] after he tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me. I gracefully ignored this folly for 177 shows ... I fire back once and this contaminated little maggot can't handle my power and can't handle the truth. I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels especially if they wind up in my octagon. Clearly I have defeated this earthworm with my words -- imagine what I would have done with my fire breathing fists. I urge all my beautiful and loyal fans who embraced this show for almost a decade to walk with me side-by-side as we march up the steps of justice to right this unconscionable wrong.

TMZ spoke with James G. Robinson -- CEO of Morgan Creek Productions -- who tells us, "I'm not going to risk putting Charlie in the movie if he continues messing up."

Robinson continues, "Obviously with Major League 3 there's a huge part written for Charlie's character ... but after dealing with Lindsay Lohan on 'Georgia Rule,' I can speak for someone who has experienced the difficulties of working with an actor dealing with addiction."

"I won't go through that again. If Charlie doesn't straighten up ... I unfortunately can't put him in the movie."

Robinson explains, "When Lindsay was doing 'Georgia Rule,' she would miss full days of work. When an actor doesn't show up for work, you can lose half-a-million dollars a day paying the 250 other people there for the shoot and the costs for the set."

"Two and a Half Men" was officially shut down for the rest of the season after TMZ reported that Charlie wanted to challenge the show's creator Chuck Lorre to a cage fight.

Sources close to Sheen tell us ... the actor, his porn-star GF Bree Olson, model Natalie Kenly and Brooke will spend the next few days together ... sans Charlie's kids.

Remember, Charlie is expected back on the set of "Two and a Half Men" on Tuesday.

Sources connected with the movie tell TMZ, Kim recently met with executive producers on the film to discuss the possibility of playing Kim Gotti in the movie.

Nothing's been signed yet -- but we're told KK's a front-runner to land the role ... and producers have expressed strong interest in casting her ... to act.

Stranger things have happened.

It was one of several political-ish statements Clooney made to Newsweek ... insisting, "I didn't live my life in the right way for politics."

When talking about his vision of the ideal candidate, Clooney insisted that a savvy politician "would start from the beginning by saying, 'I did it all. I drank the bong water. Now let's talk about issues."

Clooney then joked, "That’s gonna be my campaign slogan: 'I drank the bong water.'"

So we gotta ask ...

TMZ broke the story this morning ... the judge will throw Lindsay in jail if she accepts a plea bargain.

Judge Keith Schwartz told the famous defendant bluntly, "I don't care that you're Lindsay Lohan."

Judge Schwartz did not say how much jail time Lindsay would do if she cops a plea.

And, Judge Schwartz wants a psychological evaluation that will help him understand what makes Lindsay tick and what particular sentence is appropriate.

The judge explained ... if Lindsay pleads guilty or no contest, it will be an automatic admission she violated her probation.

And the judge announced what TMZ first reported ... Deputy D.A. Danette Meyers made a formal offer to settle the case. Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holley, will noodle over the offer before deciding, but the judge indicated Lindsay's probably not going to accept the D.A.'s offer. As we reported, Meyers wants significant jail time.

If Lindsay doesn't accept a plea, she'll stand trial and if she's found guilty she could get 1 year in state prison.

Lindsay will appear today before Judge Keith L. Schwartz, and sources connected with the case tell TMZ that during the hearing prosecutor Danette Meyers will present Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holley, with a formal offer to plea bargain the case.

Sources tell us Meyers has already told Holley any deal will include significant jail time ... but Lindsay steadfastly refuses to accept a plea that involves time behind bars.

Sources connected with the case tell us Judge Schwartz will propose that Lindsay accept jail time for the probation violation and three years felony probation for the grand theft case. But here's the BIG problem with that -- if Lindsay gets in trouble during the probationary period, she'll go to state prison.

We're told Holley has not seen the surveillance video yet, but Meyers will present her with her very own CD tomorrow -- before the hearing.

If Lindsay doesn't accept a plea, the judge will set a date for a preliminary hearing.

UPDATE: Sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ, as of early this morning, Lindsay insists she's innocent and is ready to go to trial to clear her name.

"He's an extraordinary man," Martin says of his son to Sky News, "He's doing well, we pray for him. If he had cancer, how would you treat him? This disease of addiction is a form of cancer. You have to have an equal measure of concern and love and lift him up."

Giovanni Di Stefano -- known as "The Devil's Advocate" -- tells TMZ, he wants the Prez to set Manson free.

Di Stefano -- who has also repped the likes of Saddam Hussein -- says Manson was nothing more than a cult leader, not a murderer -- Manson didn't do the killing. Di Stefano says at worst, Manson is guilty of telling his followers to "do something witchy" -- never specifying murder.

Brown appeared in court moments ago in downtown L.A., where a judge replaced Rihanna's restraining order with a level one order -- meaning Chris and Rihanna can have contact as long as he does not harass, annoy, or molest her.

Rihanna was not in court -- but her attorney Donald Etra was ... and told the judge RiRi has no objection to the new order.

TMZ obtained video of Charlie deboarding the yacht he took out in Marina Del Rey last night ... along with the mystery woman (see below) he was seen kissing out in Calabasas yesterday.

Sources close to Sheen tell us both of Charlie's "goddesses" joined the actor on the ship .... along with some of Charlie's closest friends.

While Charlie hasn't identified the third person in his 3-way relationship -- all signs now point to porn star Bree Olson ... who posted a tweet last night revealing she was one of the passengers on the movie cruise.

We're told Mel believes there is more than enough evidence to prove Oksana used the explosive tapes as leverage to score a $15 million payday ... but he thinks the politics of prosecution could get in the way.

The D.A. is currently mulling over the two case files.
