Jimi Hendrix Purple Crazed Over Fine Liquor
11:15 AM PT: Leon's rep tells TMZ ... Leon is legally authorized to license and sell Hendrix-themed merchandise and has been doing so for years. As for the latest liquor lawsuit ... Leon's rep says Leon's not to blame, claiming some former business associates went rogue a few years back -- and, in fact, Leon is planning to sue as well.
Jimi Hendrix was all for Purple Haze, all in your brain, but his estate ain't down to push a specialty liqueur that jacked his famous song title ... according to a new lawsuit.
The company that controls the late guitar great's merchandising is going after Leon Hendrix ... one of Jimi's relatives because he's hawking something called Purple Haze Liqueur. Bottles of the berry-flavored cognac and vodka blend also feature a picture of Jimi.
Experience Hendrix wants a judge to shut down all sales for obvious reasons -- it says Leon has no authority to use the name or likeness, plus he's done this before. In 2008, Experience Hendrix blocked sales of Jimi Hendrix Electric Vodka ... which it believes Leon was behind.
EH points out Leon is kind of a black sheep in the fam, saying Jimi's father purposely left him out when he doled out control of Jimi's music and merchandising.
The keepers of all things Jimi are suing Leon and his biz partner for all their profits and to get an injunction blocking all future sales.

Lili Pottinger co-owns The Real Jerk -- a Toronto hot spot -- and says they loved RiRi and Drake's video, but they want to make it clear they have a zero tolerance policy for any illegal substances in the building.
She's cool with "Work" portraying a true club setting, but says in real life it's mainly a restaurant -- so they're not down with fans coming in to roll joints and recreate the video.
Still, Lili says biz has been up 20% since the vid's release, and lots of fans come in hoping to see Drake or Rihanna. It's possible since he's a regular there.

A YouTube star who made a name for himself touting weed is facing criminal charges ... and the smoking gun is the guy's own video.
Joel Hradecky and two friends took a trip to the abandoned 348 ft. Vance Creek Bridge in Shelton, WA. The guys lit up blunts and smoked wax as they traversed the steel beams.
No one would have known the trio had trespassed, were it not for the fact that Joel recorded the hijinks and posted it to his YouTube page, which has more than 700,000 subscribers.
Fish and Wildlife officials reviewed the video, and it was clear Joel and company saw the "no trespassing signs."
There was still the issue of finding them, but it wasn't hard, because the license plate on their truck was plain as day on the video.

We're told the misstep wasn't a one-off -- Scott hit the clubs Thursday night with a flock of hot models, which doesn't bode well for any hope of reconciliation with Kourtney.
Kourtney agreed to let Scott back into her life as a co-parent, with the caveat he stay clean and sober. Given the latest turn of events, it's unlikely she's going to feel comfortable giving him unsupervised physical custody.
