In the 1%-iest crime of 2014 ... thieves made off with $300,000 worth of wine from French Laundry ... the Bay Area restaurant that is known to be the hardest place in the country to get a table.

Thieves cracked open a door to the wine room on the property and made off with 76 bottles ... some of which retail for as much as $15,000.

The alleged break-in took place on Christmas Day after the restaurant served its last meals on Christmas Eve before a planned six-month closure for repairs.

Chef Thomas Keller posted about the crime on Facebook, saying, "The French Laundry wine program is, as many of you know, singular and distinct. We look forward to rebuilding our cellar in the meantime and plan to get to the bottom of this disheartening act immediately."

Multiple independent witnesses tell TMZ Sports ... they each spotted Johnny Manziel partying well past midnight at a Cleveland bar on Friday ... just hours before he missed a team treatment session.

Our sources -- and they're pretty solid -- all say Manziel was hanging out and drinking at Barley House in Cleveland with a small party (3 to 4 other people) and didn't leave until 1:30 AM on Saturday morning.

We're told ... Johnny's group was seated in a "secluded VIP-kind of area" ... and sipped on vodka and champagne -- racking up a bill close to $1,000.

One source snapped a photo ... and though it's not the greatest quality ... it sure does look a lot like Johnny Football. The meta-data on the pic says it was shot at 1:21 AM on Saturday morning.

Manziel spoke to the media on Monday and denied reports that he "threw a party" that night -- but it seems like the 22-year-old is just arguing semantics at this point.

ESPN star Skip Bayless just unloaded on Johnny Manziel ... claiming he's spoken with several people close to the Browns QB and he is convinced Johnny is an alcoholic and a liar.

Bayless made the comments on "First Take" -- telling Stephen A. Smith he's spoken with many people "in and around the Cleveland Browns" organization and is convinced the 22-year-old has a serious drinking problem.

Skip's comments come in the wake of media reports that Johnny skipped a team treatment session on Saturday following a raging party on Friday night.

Bayless expanded ... saying, "I believe that even [Johnny's] parents are fed up to the point that they believe he needs to get some help."

Skip says his sources have told him Johnny has been lying to team executives, coaches and teammates -- and they're sick of it.

The guy who smashed into Jennifer Lopez's brand new Rolls-Royce was bombed -- nearly twice the legal limit -- and now could face time behind bars ... according to prosecutors.

The L.A. County D.A.'s office is charging Robert John Reitz with two misdemeanor counts of DUI for the September rear-ender on Pacific Coast Highway -- and they say his blood alcohol content was an astonishing .15.

You'll recall JLo and her pal Leah Remini were cruising in Jennifer's Rolls at the time of the accident. They posted a pic of themselves looking fabulous ... just seconds before Reitz hit them and fled the scene.

Reitz faces 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.

Here's video of Los Angeles Lakers part-owner Jesse Buss stumbling out of a Hollywood nightclub early Monday morning ... and it sure looks like he stopped to pee on a dumpster on the way out.

The 26-year-old -- who is also the team's Director of Scouting -- was being helped out of Greystone Manor by friends just after 1AM when he stopped ... and spent some time pressed against a dumpster in the parking lot.

So, was Jesse taking a whiz?? You can see what appears to be the classic "dip and zip" move as he finishes up ... but we can't be certain.

Eventually, Jesse finishes up whatever it was he was doing and makes his way to a car ... and a flock of attractive females follow. It appears some got in the car. One was definitely turned away.

Amanda Bynes is OUT of her manic state ... acting completely "normal" and her family thinks it's nothing short of "mind blowing."

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Amanda is off all meds, including Adderall, which caused her to get a DUI.

When you speak with Amanda there is no way you would know she's been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolarity. She is completely lucid.

We're told things have stabilized so much, her parents have given her limited access again to bank accounts. She spends her time reading, doing yoga, meditation and pilates ... all stress reducers which doctors say are important for these mental disorders.

We're also told Amanda's recent trip to USC -- where she'd like to enroll as a psych major -- was all planned by her.

Here's the rub. Doctors have told Amanda's family, people with such mental illnesses sometimes rebound and they can be ok for months, only to relapse again.

Robin Thicke learned one of the drawbacks to dating a 20-year-old model ... you can't send her out for booze.

Rick Ross pulled out his bone inside a room full of people and shamed all the other dudes standing nearby -- including Wiz Khalifa -- and it wasn't even close.

Ross performed Saturday night at Supper Club in L.A. -- where Sincere Show from "Love and Hip Hop Hollywood" was hosting the event. Wiz came by to show some love and support Ricky Rozay.

Milwaukee Bucks star O.J. Mayo has a $19k problem on his hands ... because a charter airline company says he didn't pony up the cash to fly -- and put the crew in danger by using "illegal narcotics" ... TMZ Sports has learned.

According to a lawsuit filed today by Quantum Jets ... Mayo booked a flight from Houston to L.A. on July 16th, but couldn't pay for the entire flight. The airline agreed he could give them a down payment, and pay the rest the next day.

But Quantum claims he never coughed up the dough. Further, they say he used illegal narcotics during the flight. The suit doesn't specify what kind of drugs.

Quantum Jets is suing Mayo for breach of contract and negligence. It wants at least $19,200 in damages, plus interest.

10:50 AM PT -- Phelps must abstain from booze, and can't abusively use drugs. He'll have to submit to drug and alcohol testing ...at the discretion of his probation officer ... and attend self-help group meetings.

He will be allowed to travel out of state for training sessions.

Michael Phelps showed up to a Baltimore court Friday morning where he pled guilty to driving under the influence.

Phelps was given a one-year suspended sentence and 18 months probation ... meaning if he screws up in the next 18 months, he goes behind bars for a year.

The Olympic hero arrived with his mom, sister and girlfriend -- Miss California 2010 Nicole Johnson.

We broke the story... Phelps was busted on September 30 at 1:40 AM for DUI. His B.A.C. was nearly twice the legal limit.

He checked himself into rehab following the arrest.

Rapper Bobby Shmurda was a "driving force" in a gang that committed murders and other violent crimes ... this according to NY prosecutors.

Prosecutors from the NYC Special Narcotics Office just released their indictment, claiming more than 15 defendants committed a variety of crimes, including murder, attempted murder, assault and drug dealing. Bobby himself was charged with conspiracy to commit murder but not the murder itself and a few other weapon and drug charges.

Bobby -- who at one time called himself "Two Socks Bobby" -- is charged with firing a gun at a group of people outside a barber shop. Prosecutors say "socks" is code for firearms.

According to the indictment, members of the gang used other code words, including "suntan," which means shooting someone.

The complaint says Bobby confessed to a fellow gang member, "You know I suntan him and shot, do issues, you know what's going on."

Prosecutors also say the ring dealt heavily in narcotics, with a pattern of violence that spread from Brooklyn to South Beach, Florida.

The D.A. says the violence was so prevalent, it turned Brooklyn into a shooting gallery.

Bobby pled not guilty to all charges Thursday in NYC. He's being held on $2 million bail.

Rapper Bobby Shmurda was arrested Tuesday night during a sting involving multiple shootings and drug trafficking ... TMZ has confirmed.

The indictment is sealed and the specific charges have not been disclosed, but we know it's part of a long-term investigation conducted by the NYPD and a special narcotics prosecutor.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Shmurda was under surveillance by police and was arrested while he sat in a car outside a NYC recording studio.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.

Shumurda was arrested in October for smoking a joint with two friends while double parked on a Brooklyn street ... and in June for possession of a weapon.

Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger took Miami by storm together, but don't get it twisted -- one of them is fueling that party train more than the other... according to their pal Cody Simpson.

The Aussie pop star was shopping at Cotton On in Santa Monica, and talking about his New Year's party plan (he's got a great one) ... which got us on Patrick, Miley, and Cody's raging times at Art Basel last week on South Beach.

Charlie Sheen could just attach a DVD of Steve Martin in "Little Shop of Horrors" to explain his defense in a lawsuit claiming he assaulted a dental technician ... because the actor blames it all on the gas.

Sheen just filed legal docs responding to a lawsuit filed by Margarita Palestino, who claims Charlie grabbed her boob and came at her with a knife in October as he sat in a dental chair.

She told cops Charlie's bodyguard claims the star was high on rock cocaine at the time ... something Charlie and his team vehemently deny.They say he was on meds for a shoulder injury and had an adverse reaction to the nitrous, causing him to flail around and accidentally knock over a tray of tools.

The new docs don't mention the shoulder meds but do say he had an adverse reaction to the gas.

Charlie's lawyer says the technician is not only making up stories ... she got fired because she violated HIPAA laws by telling her son Charlie was in the office.
