There were tons of big stars at Craig's Thursday night -- Viola Davis, Paul Haggis, Nick Jonas -- but Kim Kardashian only stopped to talk to one person ... Saints head coach Sean Payton.

A TMZ staffer inside the restaurant saw the whole thing unfold ... Kim walked into the joint with her good friend Lil' Kim in tow -- "The entire restaurant stopped to look at them. People were in awe."

Kim noticed Payton sitting with 4 other dudes at a table in the middle of the restaurant -- and walked right past other stars (including Haggis) to say what up!

Payton got out of his seat and gave Kim a huge hug -- and congratulated her for a recent accomplishment. She was very appreciative.

Of course, the two go wayyy back ... they first met around 2007 when Kim was dating Reggie Bush who played for Payton's Saints.

Nearly 10 years later ... and with Bush out of the picture for both parties ... they clearly still like each other. Wonder if she's still a Saints fan?

Snoop Dogg's about to become way more than just a music legend ... if he's serious about saving L.A.'s iconic restaurant, Roscoe's Chicken N Waffles.

We got Snoop and Warren G outside Lure Nightclub Tuesday night and brought up the biggest news in Hollywood -- that the parent company of Roscoe's just filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Snoop hadn't heard, and was floored -- you gotta see his reaction -- but he immediately started thinking about how to save the hot spot ... where he's a regular, mind you.

Red Bull energy drink got one guy so hyped up on caffeine it destroyed his heart, and his family says the company knew about the medical risk ... but did nothing to warn consumers.

Ann Lemley is suing the energy drink giant over her 44-year-old son William's 2014 death. In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, she says William died after ingesting "toxic amounts of caffeine and other chemicals" in Red Bull.

Lemley points out in the suit ... multiple studies have been done about the negative health consequences of the popular beverage. She claims Red Bull fails to alert its customers to risks associated with the drink ... including hypertension and cardiovascular conditions.

Her son ultimately died of a string of heart ailments.

Lemley's suing for more than $35 million in damages. We've reached out to Red Bull, but have not heard back.

7:30 A.M. PST -- A rep for the company tells TMZ, "Over 60 billion cans of Red Bull Energy Drink have been consumed since it first went on sale in 1987 and it is available in over 165 countries because health authorities around the world have concluded that it is safe to consume.

The European Food Safety Authority has recently again confirmed the safety of energy drinks. So, there is no justification to treat energy drinks differently than coffee, tea or other caffeine containing soft drinks. One 250 ml (8.4 fl oz) can of Red Bull Energy Drink contains about the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee (80 mg)."

Snoop Dogg and President Obama's favorite wing and waffle stop, Roscoe's House of Chicken N Waffles, might be shutting its doors because its parent company just filed for Chapter 11.

East Coast Foods Inc., whose president Herb Hudson founded Roscoe's, filed the bankruptcy docs last Friday claiming the company has less than $50k in assets, but somewhere between $10-$50 million in debt.

The L.A. institution counts Kobe Bryant, Kendrick Lamar, David Beckham, Cindy Crawford, Denzel Washington and many more as fans.

They're all in luck ... a rep for the company had no comment on the bankruptcy, but did stress that people should keep going to their restaurants.

Jared Fogle -- who was beaten by a prison inmate -- has learned revenge is best served cold ... and is doing just that at the prison cafeteria.

We've learned the former Subway pitchman was assigned cafeteria duties at Federal Correctional Institution Englewood. His principal duty was serving sandwiches at the end of the line. Our sources say prison officials were privately giggling over the irony.

The problem ... inmates felt Fogle was getting celebrity treatment with a cushy job, and especially after he was beaten up in January, so officials decided to move him from the inmate cafeteria.

Fogle's fellow inmates can't be happy about this ... he got what you might call a promotion. Now he's serving food at the correctional officers' cafeteria, which has higher-end food, including steaks.

That's what NBA star Caron Butler did ... or had done for him ... getting surprised for his 36th birthday with a cake made to look like a copy of his 1st book 'Tuff Juice.'

The cake was made by Bree's Cakes ... an L.A. based bakery business that has catered to big celebs like DeMar DeRozan and The Game.

We spoke with Bree herself who tells us Caron's cake cost about $350 -- not bad -- and took over 6 hours to make.

They presented the confectionery genius to Butler after the Kings played the Jazz recently and you can see in the video ... he was ecstatic.

Rob Kardashian unwrapped the best gift of his 29th birthday -- with a little help from Blac Chyna -- late Thursday night ... some In-N-Out!

The couple hit the drive-thru of one of the famed L.A. burger joints around 11 PM for what we hope was a burger and fries. As we've reported, Rob and Chyna have said "no cheat days" on their fitness kick.

But c'mon ... ya gotta indulge on your birthday, right? We're rooting for a double-double ... animal style.

Two Cali java fanatics have a bean to grind with Starbucks for refusing to fill their cups to the rim ... according to a new suit.

The duo says every time they order a tall, grande or venti sized latte ... it's grossly underfilled. They point out the menu promises 12, 16 and 20 ounces -- but based on their research Starbucks underfills those cups by about 25% EVERY time.

In the class action suit, they admit occasionally the milk foam on top gets to the rim, but they add ... "In the food science community, as well as in the weights and measures community, foam is not measured on a volumetric basis."

Translation: Foam doesn't count!

Nor do they think this is an accident ... they paint CEO Howard Schultz as the villain for cutting costs by reducing the amount of milk in each latte.

They're seeking damages for Starbucks latte drinkers all across the country.

Harry Styles is either an honorary family member to Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber ... or just a great drinking bud.

The trio did lunch -- with Cindy and Rande's daughter Kaia -- at one of their restaurants ... Cafe Habana.

No word what was on the agenda for this sit down, but 22-year-old Harry's been in with the 50-something Gerbers for a while. He scored a few boxes of Rande's Casamigos tequila for his birthday in January. Maybe the kid wants a piece of the agave game, or maybe he just needs a fresh case.

Olympic champion -- and Subway spokesperson -- Apolo Ohno says Jared Fogle's child pornography scandal definitely rocked the company to its core ... and made it tough for the athletes.

Ohno was at LAX when we asked about the whole terrible ordeal ... and what it was like being down with the company when its face was in the middle of such a disgusting story.

Subway employs a ton of athletes as spokespeople ... and Apolo kept it all the way real about what the scandal did to them ... saying it was definitely a 'tough time' for the company.

The Oscars or the Girl Scouts -- or some mystery benefactor ... is hanging 28 little girls out to dry -- after swearing Chris Rock's bit earned $65k ... we've learned the money is nowhere to be found.

You'll recall Rock and the Oscars got Inglewood, CA's Girl Scouts Troop 5215 to work the crowd of celebs, hawking Thin Mints, Tagalongs and more. Near the end of the show, Chris said they raised $65k.

But Latoya Edwards, whose daughter is in Troop 5215 tells TMZ someone's screwing them over. She claims the National Girl Scout Council informed them the Academy would be donating the $65k to the Greater L.A. Council ... but that hasn't happened, and the Academy isn't returning calls.

Mind you, Troop 5215 isn't getting rich quick. Edwards says due to nonprofit rules her local chapter would only get $1,000 of that money, but her bigger concern is her scouts are getting used in a public relations lie.

Previously Girls Scouts of America and the Academy both bragged about the $65k they'd raised -- but now GSA seems to be wiping its hands clean. A rep would only tell us, "The donation process is determined by local councils."

Translation: We have no idea where the $65k is. Edwards claims the Greater L.A. leaders are also in the dark and as for the Academy? We contacted reps, but no word back yet.

Edwards says her Girl Scouts were honored to participate -- and is happy they were able to unload 400 boxes -- but she wants the world to know, as of now, there is NO fat check pouring into the Inglewood chapter.

And yes ... that's how it crumbles.

Donald Trump's catching a lot of flak over his meat -- since those slabs of beef he called his own, "Trump Steaks," aren't really his -- but turns out he IS in bed with the real owner.

After Trump's victory speech from his golf club in Jupiter, Florida ... critics jumped all over him for bragging about the meat. He referred to Trump Steaks ... a now defunct line of meat he sold in the early 2000s, but reporters on scene noticed the packaging said Bush Brothers -- a FL based meat company.

Bush Brothers confirms it was their product onstage with the Donald, and they didn't know he was going to whip out the meat. But the BB rep added they do a lot of biz with the candidate ... as the exclusive steak supplier to all of Trump's South Florida properties.

Sooo ... he definitely stretched the truth, but the beef is at least Trump adjacent.

Besides, he's got bigger steak issues -- like the fact he cops to ordering his "well done."

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna want you to believe he's in the throes of a crash diet, but get a load of his carbo-load and the booze to help wash it down.

Rob and Chyna hit up Benihana in Encino for lunch Tuesday ... and our Far East sources tell us they wolfed down a "whole bunch of sushi," as they sipped on a couple rounds of sake and mimosas.

Rob's had issues with substance abuse, and Chyna's fresh off a daytime arrest in Texas after getting wasted at the airport.

That said ... it looks like Rob's losing a bunch of weight.

When it comes to landing a gig ... S.I. Swimsuit model Samantha Hoopes puts on an absolute clinic.

We got the audition tape she submitted to Carl's Jr. for the now classic 'Most American Thickburger' spot she did last year, and let's just say producers did NOT take long to snatch her up.

After seeing this video it's obvious why they just brought Hoopes back for a sequel.

Samantha Hoopes sucked down a ton of meat for her encore performance as a smoking hot burger loving babe in one of those iconic Carl's Jr. ads.

We're told the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model just finished shooting her follow up spot to last year's 4th of July themed one. It was a 2 day shoot in Ecuador, and the script called for her to hose down a sports car, then take a healthy bite.

The belly busting twist -- there were at least 20 takes which means Samantha bit into 20 of the new burgers -- which our spies say features a lot of onion rings. And yes ... we're told she actually swallowed the food on many of the takes.

The only bad news is the ad might only air in Central and South America. Thank God for the Internet.
