He might not be great in October, but Alex Rodriguez is CRUSHING IT in May ... 'cause the baseball star just sold his Miami Beach mansion for a $15 MILLION profit, TMZ has learned.

We know ... A-Rod has accepted a $30 million offer for his 19,861-square-foot Miami Beach estate ... the same property he purchased in 2010 for $7.4 mil.

After he bought the place, the NY Yankees star sunk an additional $7.6 million into building his dream home -- meaning his total investment was $15 mil.

The home is unreal -- an oceanfront palace with 9 bedrooms, 11 full bathrooms (plus 2 half bathrooms), a 4-car garage, state of the art security system with 16 cameras and a Zen garden.

Plus, it's on the same street as Matt Damon!

Rodriguez quietly put the place on the market in August 2012 and was asking for $38 mil -- but ultimately, he decided to settle for a measly $30,000,000. Bummer ...

So who bought the joint? Unclear at this point ... but sources tell us the buyer is a celebrity who lives in Palm Beach.

Eva Longoria didn't win an award at the Cannes Film Festival -- but based on her wardrobe malfunction ... Eva clearly deserves consideration for the hardware. What's a girl gotta show do for a trophy, anyway?

Chad Johnson was just arrested in Florida -- after a smoking hot Broward County judge determined the ex-NFL star violated his probation stemming from his 2012 domestic violence bust ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... a warrant had been issued for Johnson's arrest earlier this month after he failed to report to his probation officer on 2 occasions AND failed to show proof of enrollment in a domestic violence education class.

Johnson's probation stemmed from his domestic violence conviction involving ex-wife Evelyn Lozada last year.

35-year-old Johnson appeared in a Broward County courtroom over his alleged probation violation -- and moments ago, the judge determined Chad WAS in violation and ordered him to be arrested and jailed.

Chad tried to tell the judge how the entire situation was a big misunderstanding -- but she wasn't having it ... watch the video.

TMZ has obtained Johnson's booking sheet -- he's listed as 6'4" 190 pounds.

Bond has been set at $1,000.

"The X Factor" is upping the sexy factor -- TMZ has learned Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are signing on to be judges for next season.

Sources connected to FOX tell TMZ the pair are in final negotiations to join the show ... with only minor details left to be hammered out before they sign on.

We're told the deals will be done in the next few days, possibly as early as tomorrow.

Rowland and Rubio would be replacing Britney Spears and L.A. Reid ... and joining returning judges Demi Lovato and (of course) Simon Cowell.

"At least you're not Chad Johnson" might be something people say soon ... because on top of being a wanted man, TMZ has learned the former NFL star's finances are sinking faster than his career.

Chad filed new court docs as part of an ongoing battle with one of his baby mamas, Andrea Pearson, asking a judge to lower his $5,420 per month child support payments because he claims can't afford it.

In the docs, Chad says he agreed to that number back in March 2012, when he was a successful NFL star. He says he now "finds himself without a contract and without a team. Simply [I am] unemployed."

He also says, at such a late stage in his career, it is CERTAIN he will never make the kind of cash he once did.

The news is a far cry from his money days ... in 2012, Chad claimed he raked in $66k per month​. But he got released from the Dolphins in August after his head butting arrest and his endorsement deals dropped like flies.

As TMZ first reported, a warrant was issued for Chad's arrest on May for an alleged probation violation, also stemming from the domestic violence case.

We already love Mariann Gavelo's redonkulous ass -- and now we love it even more -- because the smokin' hot actress tells TMZ her dumps like a truck are 100% real ... and getting bigger every day.

We've learned ... Capital One has slapped Pilar Sanders with a big, fat lawsuit in Texas for allegedly failing to make payments on a $6,160.25 bill ... an amount she used to consider chump change.

We've been reporting for months ... Pilar and Deion are at WAR -- and Prime Time even kicked her out of his Texas mansion. Pilar has lawyered up and wants a cut of the NFL legend's fortune, estimated at more than $250 million.

But for now Capital One just wants its $6k ... and according to court docs, the bank says it reached out to Pilar in January, 2013, demanding she cough up the cash ... but she never paid.

Now, C.O. is suing for the full amount plus court costs.

There's still one team interested in former NFL star Chad Johnson ... the team tasked with BRINGING HIM INTO CUSTODY ... 'cause he's officially a wanted man.

TMZ has learned ... a warrant has been issued for Johnson's arrest in Broward County, Florida -- stemming from his domestic violence conviction involving ex-wife Evelyn Lozada last year.

The Broward County District Attorney's Office tells us ... Johnson has failed to report to his probation officer -- a violation of the terms of his probation -- and on May 7, a judge issued the warrant.

Chad also allegedly failed to show proof of enrollment and completion of the "Batterers Intervention Program."

Once Johnson is taken into custody -- a hearing will be set to determine whether Johnson did in fact violate his probation. If he did, it could mean jail time.

Charlie Sheen's legal team is headed for court this morning ... and he wants to expose what he believes is a crass ploy by ex-wife Brooke Mueller to make her brother the guardian of their kids so she can still get her hands on Charlie's gigantic child support checks.

As we previously reported ... Brooke is gunning to wrestle temporary custody away from Denise Richards, who has been caring for 4-year-old Bob and Max while Brooke tries to get it together at The Betty Ford Center. Brooke wants her brother to get temporary custody until she's sober again.

Charlie believes the almighty dollar is at the root of Brooke's ploy. He claims Brooke will still have access to Charlie's $55,000 monthly child support check if her bro gets the kids, and that's why she wants Denise out of the picture.

What's more ... sources connected to the case tell TMZ ... Denise has written proof -- in the form of text messages -- in which Brooke makes it clear -- she wants and needs those monthly checks.

Sources say Brooke -- through her lawyer -- will counter that Denise is the one who is in it for the money, although our sources say Denise has not asked Charlie for a dime for taking Bob and Max.

We're told Charlie wants Denise to keep the twins until Brooke is sober and able to prove she'll stay that way. Charlie realizes that could mean Denise could have the kids for a year ... and maybe longer. Charlie will tell the judge he would gladly pay Denise support money for her efforts.

Christian Chavez -- Mexican soap actor turned international pop star -- tried to MURDER his ex-boyfriend with a knife ... this according to court docs filed by the ex-BF and obtained by TMZ.

We broke the story ... Chavez and Ben Stewart-Kruger were both arrested back in April following a domestic dispute at their Bev Hills pad.

After the incident, Ben obtained a temporary restraining order against Chavez -- after filing documents with the court in which he explained:

"[Christian] attacked me, broke down bathroom door, armed with knife, attempted murder."

In the docs, Ben explained, "We dated, I broke up with him, he was required to move out the day before this incident."

"A verbal argument caused this issue. I was locked in the bathroom when police arrived."

Despite Ben's explosive allegations, officials have decided not to prosecute Chavez ... for now at least ... because there wasn't sufficient evidence to back Ben's story.

Still, a judge DID grant Ben's request for a temporary restraining order against Chavez -- requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away.
