Could Jessica Simpson and John Mayer be hooking up again? Maybe so.

TMZ spies were at the posh Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills Monday night, when John Mayer took a seat and began hitting on one of our spies. Our spy says Mayer invited her up to his room to "talk." She declined.

Jessica Simpson arrived at the bar a short time later and saw friend and producer Romeo Antonio sitting at a table, who has written several Simpson songs. Jessica approached Antonio and chatted for a bit. Antonio then left the table to use the bathroom and while he was in the restroom, Mayer walked in. A very serious Mayer asked if there was anything going on between Antonio and Simpson. Antonio said there was not.

Mayer then went back to the bar, chatted up Simpson for approximately 10 minutes and then the two left the bar together and took the elevator upstairs. We don't know what happened after that, but our spies never saw them again.

Brody Jenner's apparently got a thing for the girls of reality TV -- specifically blondes from "Laguna Beach."

The "Prince of Malibu" was spotted heading into Shag last night with none other than Lauren Conrad, the well-known arch-enemy of his ex-girlfriend Kristin Cavallari. While TMZ could not confirm any romantic connection between the two, hanging out with your ex's enemy in public is still a pretty bold move. Also along for the evening was LC's "The Hills" co-star Heidi Montag.

The "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" actress married screenwriter David Benioff in New York over the weekend.

Their wedding isn't the only big news of the month as the newlyweds have already announced they are expecting their first child together.

The couple exchanged their vows at Peet's alma mater, Friends Seminary, an East Coast Quaker school.

The two raised eyebrows a few weeks ago after reports the two got hot and heavy at Pure nightclub in Vegas.

Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton were swarmed by photogs yesterday, which begged the question, who actually cares about them to warrant such attention?

After shopping at the new kitson Men store (sure to be a new paparazzi staple), the two emerged in "shock" at the number of photogs waiting for them, Nicollette exclaiming, "Oh my God, you guys are multiplying!"

The entourage of shutterbugs got so large they appeared to form a parade around the couple as they walked down Roberston Blvd., in the middle of the actual street.

Carter told Stern that Paris had a penchant for housework during their stormy relationship: "In the very beginning, you know, she was literally cleaning my carpet in my apartment ... trying to act all domesticated." But that didn't last very long: "Before you know it," said Carter, "it's back to the old 'nose up in the air' and 'who are you?'" Paris later accused Carter of physically assaulting her; the charges were dropped, and Carter denies them.

But Carter -- who's also been linked to "Dancing With The Stars" vixen Willa Ford and walking photo op Bai Ling -- also told Stern that if he had to choose his favorite bedfellow, it would be LaFave, whom he dated in high school. "Maybe that's just because it was my first," he says of the blonde, adding that most of his favorite sex partners have been "just normal girls." But even LaFave might've been too kinky for Nick, who says he dumped her for cheating on him -- with another girl.

Lance Bass's boyfriend Reichen is finally coming out... with his first book. The book is titled "Here's What We'll Say" and chronicles his life in the U.S Air Force Academy, his experience with other gays in the Air Force and the secret society that the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" members formed in order to protect themselves and each other from being discovered.

Reichen spent four years writing the book, which has a scheduled release date of October 2006. Reichen kicks off his official U.S. book tour October 22 with an appearance on "Good Morning America."

A parking meter wasn't the only thing Lindsay Lohan ran into Monday night at hotspot Shag -- she also met up with ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

Lohan, who reportedly split with boyfriend Harry Morton over the weekend, showed up with two girlfriends while Valderrama went to the VIP area with a group of his guy friends.

While onlookers call the interaction between the two awkward at first, they appeared to be engaged in "friendly conversation" by the end of the night and "it looked like they were catching up." The awkward start could have something to do with the comments Wilmer made about Lindsay on the Howard Stern Show back in March, when he said she was one of the best women he's had in bed and talked about her fire-less crotch.

Lohan wasn't looking for a rebound from Morton though - the two left separately.

Bosworth was spotted walking with male model James Rousseau in New York's West Village on Monday.

Kate and her beautiful stranger seemed to be smitten with each other as they gazed into each other's sunglass-covered eyes.

International pop star (i.e. famous everywhere but in the States) Anastacia has gotten engaged to Wayne Newton, but to her bodyguard Wayne Newton -- not the King of Las Vegas Wayne Newton.

The duo has been together since 2003, when Wayne offered Anastacia emotional support during her battle with breast cancer.

Pop princess Britney Spears caused similar confusion when she married Jason Alexander, a childhood friend -- not the actor from "Seinfeld."

While there's no wedding date set yet, we hope Anastacia and Wayne's marriage lasts a little longer than Britney's 55 hour nuptials to Jason.

Lindsay Lohan's got a new man and let's just say Paris Hilton won't be happy.

We caught up with Lindsay at Dragonfly nightclub in Hollywood Sunday evening where several sources inside the club tell TMZ she was making out with Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos.

Though Lindsay went to great lengths not to be seen with the Greek shipping heir outside the nightclub -- hiding behind a sheet and telling photogs to "f*** off and die" -- the two were all smiles when spotted together earlier that night. Lohan and Niarchos were photographed looking very flirtatious while hanging out at the Chateau Marmont, Lindsay's home, before heading to a concert at Dragonfly.

You'd think Lindsay would take great delight in sticking it to Paris Hilton, who has been somewhat instrumental in creating Lindsay's now-famous nickname, "Firecrotch." TMZ's video of Brandon Davis on a "Firecrotch" rant, Paris right by his side, is now firmly embedded in pop culture.

Since his split with hottie Heather Locklear, the wacky blonde has been spending a lot of time with his buddy, actor John Farley. John is the brother of Spade's good friend and former co-star Chris Farley who died from opiate and cocaine intoxication in 1997.

Staying true to the saying, "bros before hos," John has been there to lend some needed male support.

Though the two are straight in the real world, their new film finds them playing heterosexuals pretending to be a firefighting gay married couple.

"I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" has the two posing as players for the other team to qualify for their fire department's domestic-partner benefits.

The film also stars Jessica Biel, as a love interest and possible complication for Sandler, and Steve Buscemi as a wary city official sent to keep an eye on the "couple."

"I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" will be released next summer.
