Federline's Worthless Handouts

Published | Updated

K-Fed celebrated his divorce from Britney by throwing handfuls of $50 dollar bills to a crowd in a Vegas nightclub -- the only problem, the bills were fake!

A freshly-shaven Federline hit up Jet Nightclub at The Mirage Friday night to mark his divorce with a party, where lingerie-clad dancers showered the crowd in fake $50 bills. Seems his divorce settlement with Brit didn't leave him wealthy enough to throw out the real thing!

Ironically, a source inside the club tells TMZ that while plenty of hotties tried to flirt their way into the VIP lounge, Federline and his entourage were only letting in "Britney look-alikes." Federline was also spotted earlier that day lounging around Bare, the topless pool at The Mirage.

Leo Takes the Bar to Vegas

Published | Updated

Something was in the water (or Grey Goose) this weekend in Vegas, because the place was crawling with celebs, and even famously camera-shy Leonardo DiCaprio got snapped.

Leonardo and Britney Spears made separate, but equally notable splashes in Sin City this weekend, with Leo showing up for JET Nightclub's first anniversary party with girlfriend Bar Refaeli and her dad, while Britney had dinner -- and a soft drink -- at TAO.

DiCaprio, perhaps returning the favor for Bar's taking him home to meet the folks in Israel last month, brought the lady and her pops to JET's birthday bash, partying with "Blood Diamond" co-star Djimon Hounsou, and pals Luke Wilson, Woody Harrelson and Kevin Connolly.

Meanwhile, Britney donned her now-customary wig 'n hat look to dine with two unidentified friends at TAO, munching on veggie dumplings and, yes, drinking Pepsi. We're told that she stayed for a brief dinner and wasn't spotted thereafter.

DJ AM had to work a birthday party this weekend ... his!

DJ AM Pulls OT on Bday

AM took up his usual spot at PURE nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday night, but this time he had pal Travis Barker by his side for an incredible birthday set. Neil Patrick Harris looked on as AM spun the tracks, while Barker rocked the drums live -- with a cigarette in his mouth! Now, that is rock 'n roll.

The Caesars Palace club, where AM spins every Friday, even gave him a cake shaped like a turntable -- which actually turned! You won't find that at Baskin-Robbins.

Stripped Katie Lives Large in Vegas

Published | Updated

Ex-Miss Nevada Katie Rees was stripped of her sash over saucy pix, but Katie's clearly enjoying her post-public-humiliation career just a little more than ex Mess USA Tara is enjoying hers. TMZ got an exclusive peek at the Sin City beauty queen's latest incarnation as a poolside attraction.

Katie lived large at the Bare Pool and Lounge at the Mirage in Las Vegas over the weekend, though in typical Rees fashion, she flaunted the rules of the hotspot -- by leaving her top on. (Bare is a topless pool, and by "topless," we don't mean "open-air.")

Elsewhere, she played a few hands -- of poker -- at the JET Nightclub Celebrity Poker Tournament, and was spotted with Vegas high-roller George Maloof, an owner of the Palms. And she ended her night at JET's one-year anniversary party, sipping Grey Goose.

"Stairway to Hell" Burns Catholic League

Published | Updated

Catholic League president Bill Donohue, who once took on the creators of "South Park," is now crusading against the off-Broadway hit show, "Stairway to Hell," produced by Vegas impresarios Jeff Beacher and Randy Weiner. The rock musical involves rockers and a heaven/hell theme.

Donohue lamented in a press release, "Men and women are dying everyday in Iraq to keep America free. It is sickening to note that some young Americans think freedom means the right to insult, degrade and abuse the sensibilities of Christians." Donohue neglected to mention whether he thought free speech was part of that fight.

"Hell" producer Randy Weiner fired back, "We're not interested in hurting anyone or disparaging anyone's religious beliefs. This is a show meant to amuse and entertain, and our sole intent is for the audience to leave our show feeling that they enjoyed themselves during the time they spent with us. It saddens me that Mr. Donohue is trying to exploit the suffering of our American soldiers to further his own crusade."

Beacher has now hired personal bodyguards for the show's cast, saying, "Donohue hates 'Stairway To Hell,' which makes it a perfect show for my audience. He says the show deserves to be in hell, so I'm taking it to Vegas where it belongs!"

PETA to Hard Rock: Drinking and Monkeys Don't Mix

Published | Updated

TMZ has obtained a letter sent by PETA to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, warning them not to use live monkeys in the upcoming revival of "Beacher's Madhouse," featuring ousted Miss Nevada Katie Rees.

PETA claims they have been "inundated with phone calls and e-mails from our members who were upset," concerning primates that will be used in the show, as featured in advertisements. PETA claims monkeys in Vegas would suffer from "being displayed in a crowded nightclub with deafeningly loud music, and intoxicated patrons will cause these monkeys trauma, stress, and unnecessary discomfort." Kinda like K-Fed does!

Another reason cited by PETA: "They harbor many diseases that are transmissible to humans, including bacterial, viral, and fungal infections. Primates who have been forced to live in artificial, substandard conditions frequently attack humans."

"Madhouse" creator Jeff Beacher tells TMZ, "I love all animals including the ones I hire -- I hire all of them through trained professional animal handlers, who also love animals and treat them properly and with care. I am appalled and insulted that they would accuse me of such accusations." PETA had no problem with the use of Katie Rees.

Bunny and the Beast

Published | Updated

It must be exhausting to be David Spade.

The ever-incomprehensible babe magnet has to beat hot chicks off with a stick! According to a source, this bunny server at the Palms Hotel & Casino's Playboy Club in Las Vegas is David's "biggest fan" and begged to have her photo take with the diminutive stud. A captive audience, Spade agreed. Say cheese!

The 42-year-old funnyman, who has been previously linked to genetically superior beings like Heather Locklear, Lara Flynn Boyle and George Clooney's ex Krista Allen, proves you don't need a rockin' bod, movie star looks, or even stylish gear to attract the ladies.

At under 5' 7", perhaps big things do come in small packages!

Whitney: Can I Call You, Ray-J?

Published | Updated

Whitney Houston's traded up from Bobby Brown ... with Kim Kardashian sex tape co-star Ray-J, who's 17 years her junior! The greatest love of all!

"EXTRA" spotted Miss Houston holding hands with 26-year-old Ray-J (R&B-ish brother of crash-embattled Brandy Norwood) as the two ran into Jay-Z and LeBron James' Bud Select-Sprite pre-NBA All-Star game party Saturday at TAO in Las Vegas. This marks the second public appearance for the couple, who were spotted last month having a romantic dinner together at Mastro's in L.A.

A source tells TMZ that Kim K. actually showed up for the party but any potential nuclear conflict was defused when a helpful tipster called Ray-J from outside to tell him that his former video co-producer was in the house. Whitney took her young charge by the arm and quickly led him out the door.

Perhaps Whitney's getting dating tips from Demi Moore.

Rap Titans Talk Strippers & Booze

Published | Updated

Diddy and BFF Busta Rhymes reunited in Las Vegas this weekend for an impromptu performance of their 2002 hit, "Pass The Courvoisier." While onstage, the rap stars talked about a recent trip to a strip club, claiming it was the first one they had ever been to in Sin City. Suuure.

The duo's duet took place at the All-Star Kickoff Party at JET Nightclub at the Mirage, hosted by Diddy and NBA superstar Tracy McGrady. Busta, who was busted last month for allegedly beating up a man back in December, also performed "Touch It," from his current album, "The Big Bang."

The next night, Diddy and Busta rolled back to the $40,000-a-night Hugh Hefner Sky Villa in the Fantasy Tower at the Palms Casino Resort, where they partied with Dave Chapelle, Kendra Wilkinson, Gabrielle Union, and a few bunnies from the Playboy Club. It pays to be rich, biatch.

Jay-Z Fights to Shut Down Vegas Party

Published | Updated

Rap star Jay-Z filed a last minute temporary restraining order in Federal court on Friday to shut down a Las Vegas party that was using his likeness to promote their event.

Club Ice is advertising a party for Saturday night using Jay-Z's image and the names of his companies, Roc-A-Fella and Rocawear. But Jay-Z has nothing to do with the party and is actually hosting his own party Saturday night at Tao at the Venetian hotel.

When Jay-Z arrived in Las Vegas for NBA All-Star Weekend and saw the promotions around town (which are also on the site AllStarParty2007.com), he contacted his attorneys in New York who then contacted Robert Reynolds, an attorney in Nevada. Reynolds tells TMZ he was able to file the temporary restraining order just before the courts closed and that a process server went down to the club tonight and served them with the injunction.

TMZ spoke with an employee at the club who passed on this message from the club's promoters: They have a signed contract with one of the VPs of Roc-A-fella Records, the person was paid in full, and as of now the party will go on as planned on Saturday night.

Reynolds tells TMZ that if that is the case, the club and its promoters run the risk of violating the court order and that Las Vegas police may shut it down.

Cee Lo Gets 'Crazy' in Vegas

Published | Updated

Las Vegas is set to explode this weekend with the NBA All-Star Game coming to town, and some stars arrived early to cut get the party started!

Cee-Lo, half of the Grammy-winning duo Gnarls Barkley, partied it up at JET Nightclub at the Mirage on Monday with his entourage in tow. Our spies tell us he sipped on Patron with about twenty groupies surrounding him. When the DJ decided to put on his hit song, "Crazy," Cee-Lo grabbed the mic to belt out the song to the packed room.

Halfway through the song, Cee-Lo gave a shout out to basketball legend Michael Jordan, screaming, "Give it up for #23! MJ in the motherf**king house!" After he finished, Jordan came over to hang out with Cee-Lo. If last night was any indication, Vegas is going to be off the chain this week!

Circus Hot Over Miss Nevada's Orgasm Contest

Published | Updated

The former Miss Nevada is smack in the middle of another sexually charged controversy ... and this one could reach its climax in court.

TMZ has obtained a cease and desist letter from Cirque du Soleil, sent to "Beacher's Madhouse" host Jeff Beacher at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. The letter asks him to halt production on the "orgasmic" part of his variety show, hosted by former Miss Nevada Katie Reese, because it infringes on Cirque's trademarked name.

Cirque believes that Beacher has been advertising the orgasm contest as a "Cirque du Soleil" event in several online publications. Beacher insists that the name was used in blogs by mistake, and that it was never part of his show.

The letter asks Hard Rock to stop advertising the show on their website, and "post a prominent" retraction on websites where it appeared. Oddly, the Hard Rock never used the name on their site.

TMZ spoke to Beacher, who told us, "I have no intention, and have never even thought about calling my orgasm contest the Cirque du Soleil Contest. I'm calling it exactly what it is; an Orgasm Contest." Beacher's attorney, Mike Heller, told us "Mr. Beacher appreciates Cirque du Soleil and would never use their name in vain. We ask for a total retraction and apology from Cirque du Soliel."
