Racist CVS Woman Costume Designer Sorry For N-Bombs ... Celebs React
The woman who went on a racial tirade against black people at a Los Angeles CVS is a Hollywood costume designer ... and some celebs are rightfully calling her out.
Heather Lynn Patton is the woman dropping n-bombs and screaming that she wants to kill black people in this viral video. Her racist rant, which went down Tuesday at a CVS in Eagle Rock, sparked outrage online and left some famous people she worked with stunned.
Audra McDonald reacted on Twitter, with the actress writing, "Wow. Apparently she worked on Private Practice. I don't remember her but apparently if not for the law she would've killed me and Taye? Harsh."
Patricia Arquette says the woman worked with her on the NBC series "Medium" for 2 seasons and says one of her friends from the set told her, "This is really sad. Holy s**t. Wow I'm actually shaking. This was not who she was at all ... It's like I'm watching a person that has completely come undone."

Dustin May's fastball is scary as hell ... but his costume at the Dodgers' dress-up party on Thursday was even more terrifying -- 'cause he made for an UNREAL Pennywise!!!
For some reason, L.A. decided to celebrate Halloween about a month early this year after their win over the Padres ... and we're all grateful for it.
May's Pennywise fit stole the show -- seriously, don't let your kids see it (get it!) -- but his teammates had some pretty incredible costumes as well.
Star hitter Cody Bellinger and reliever Joe Kelly dressed up as LeBron's "Taco Tuesday" ... and it's hilarious.

George and Amal Clooney have reached a milestone -- their 5-year anniversary -- and it seems their key to a happy marriage ... is finding joy in the difficult stuff.
The couple was leaving 4 Charles Prime Rib restaurant in NYC Thursday night on the eve of their big day, and we asked what the hardest part of being married is after half a decade ... and they were VERY amused.
It's hard to tell what's so funny exactly -- the question itself or the possible answers. Truth is, George and Amal both manage high-profile careers while also raising 2-year-old twins ... so maybe it's just humorous trying to narrow it down.
BTW, the Clooneys were joined at dinner by another high-profile couple -- best friends Cindy Crawford and her hubby, Rande Gerber, George's partner at Casamigos Tequila.
And, not that any of them need it, but if they're looking for marriage advice ... Ruth Bader Ginsburg recently shared what she told another famous couple about to tie the knot -- J Lo and A-Rod -- and it makes perfect sense.

"Joker" fans hoping to dress up like the notorious Batman villain for screenings will need an change of clothes, or they'll be turned away -- at least at Landmark Theatres.
In the name of safety and security, several big theater chains have already enacted policies that prohibit moviegoers from donning masks and face paint or bringing props, but for the opening weekend of Todd Phillips' "Joker" film ... Landmark is going a step further.
CEO Ted Mundorff tells TMZ ... "We are not allowing costumes, face painting or masks by either our employees or guests," specifically for the release of the movie starring Joaquin Phoenix.
Landmark operates over 50 theaters in 27 markets in the U.S.
Regal Cinemas tells us it doesn't think the "Joker" poses any specific risk because, "We do not believe the content or the existence of any movie is a cause or a signal for violence."
That being said, a Regal rep added their theaters are in regular contact with law enforcement year-round so they always have info to help make whatever security assessments are necessary.
This all comes amid backlash against "Joker," with critics saying the film has a dangerous message ... and the potential to incite troubled individuals to commit mass shootings.
George Clooney I've Got a Hard Working Ass ... With Brie Larson in Spain
George Clooney's just sittin' around on his ass -- alongside Brie Larson -- and getting paid for it ... good work if you can get it!
The movie stars were riding through the streets of Madrid Wednesday -- Clooney on a beautiful white donkey, and Larson on what looks like a white horse, of course. Although it could be a mule. Forgive us ... we're no equine experts.
Either way, they seemed to vibe well with the animals, and at one point, George even shared a moment with a chicken that wandered onto set. The actors were shooting a new ad for Nespresso. George has been its main spokesman since 2006.
Over the years actors like Matt Damon, John Malkovich, Danny DeVito and Natalie Dormer have joined him for the spots ... and now you can add Captain Marvel to that list.
Y'know what they say -- work hard, bray hard.

'What Men Want' Lawsuit I Want to Get Paid!!! 'Cause You Stole My Idea

If you thought Taraji P. Henson's movie, "What Men Want," was a new take on "What Women Want," think again -- a screenwriter says it's really a rip-off of his script, and now he's suing Paramount.
Joe Carlini says he wrote a screenplay entitled "What the F Is He Thinking?" back in 2015, and shopped it around Hollywood -- but Joe admits he struck out. No one bit.
In his lawsuit, Joe says he had meetings with reps for big-time production companies, including Weinstein, Montage and Bloom. He even spoke to several actors about starring in his movie. Yes, he dropped some names in the docs ... James Franco, Chris Pratt, Nick Swardson and King Bach.
Still, it never took flight. Cut to 2 years later ... when, according to the docs, the film's producers get Taraji on board for their film. When it came out in 2019, Joe says it was painfully obvious, to him anyway, they'd jacked his script.
Among the similarities he saw: both main characters wish they could understand men better ... both fall and hit their heads after partying ... and both wake up in the hospital and discover they can hear men's thoughts.

BG notes they haven't cast the starring role yet, and while it's undecided if they'll look for an actor who is gay ... he says it's no biggie in his eyes.

There has been a very secret play by the U.S. Attorney to get more parents to plead guilty in the college admissions scandal, and what's especially interesting is that prosecutors are putting the squeeze on people who haven't even been charged with a crime.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, parents who hired ringleader Rick Singer received grand jury subpoenas recently for various documents that could lead to an indictment. Lawyers for the parents got in touch with the U.S. Attorney, who threatened to indict the parents in a similar fashion to Felicity Huffman, Lori Loughlin and dozens of others.
We're told the lawyers and prosecutors are either in the process of negotiating a guilty plea or have already negotiated it, even before any criminal charges are filed. We're told the U.S. Attorney will file criminal complaints and the parents will immediately plead guilty.

"Aquaman" had one helluva lunch Tuesday afternoon hitting up a couple of joints in WeHo. Jason first hit up a sushi spot, which begs the question ... is that considered cannibalism? Anyway, he later hit up Joe's Pizza for a few slices.
Jason really loves him some pizza ... and evidently the crust too. He had some fun with the paps too ... bringing out an employee with him and pimping the joint. Sure, he flipped the bird to photogs, but in a playful way ... and they all ate it up.

Actress Jessica Morris -- best known for her roles on "One Life to Live" and several Lifetime movies -- has been hit with a felony charge for allegedly taking a bite out of her married boyfriend's face.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Morris and actor Rib Hillis got into a fight back in May, and at some point, she went on the attack and bit Rib's lip -- almost all the way off!!!
We're told Morris turned herself in earlier this month after the L.A. County District Attorney charged her with one count of felony domestic violence with great bodily injury.
Hillis tells TMZ ... Morris got into a heated argument with him over relationship issues, which makes sense, because PLOT TWIST -- Hillis is married to Elena Grinenko, one of the pro dancers on "Dancing with the Stars."
Rib says the fight got violent when Jessica viciously bit and mangled his lip, but claims he didn't lay a hand on her during the incident. He says he went to the hospital afterward and the nurse notified the police. A report was taken and the LAPD investigated, leading to the criminal charge.
Hillis claims he had no say in the matter, but if it were up to him he "just wants everyone to heal and get on with their lives." He adds that he hasn't spoken to Morris since that night, but hopes she gets the help she needs.
'Joker' Won't Play at Site of Aurora Shooting ... Warner Bros., Victim's Father Responds

2:19 PM PT -- Mike Senecal -- the father of Katherine Senecal, who was a victim of the 2012 shooting and helped save her friend who was shot -- tells TMZ ... his daughter would not have echoed the sentiments of the letter sent to Warner Bros.
He says Katie would have been able to separate the movie from real life, and Mike believes those who can't are part of the problem. He adds that violent people exist regardless of whether "Joker" comes out, and people who have issues with the film don't have to see it.
Mike says he plans to see the movie and thinks his daughter would have too. Sadly, Katie died last year by suicide. He says she struggled with mental health issues before the shooting, and she recognized the biggest epidemic in this country is a lack of mental health care ... not movies.
1:06 PM PT -- Warner Bros. has responded to the letter, saying it recognizes gun violence is a critical issue and is taking steps to "address this epidemic."
The company adds ... "At the same time, Warner Bros. believes that one of the functions of storytelling it to provoke difficult conversations around complex issues." WB says "Joker" is not an endorsement of real-world violence ... and the character is not meant to be a hero.
Joaquin Phoenix's performance as the Joker in Todd Phillips' dark take on the Batman villain is getting huge buzz, but at least one theater in Aurora, Colorado won't be showing the film ... the venue where the 2012 mass shooting occurred.
The Century Aurora and XD is the remodeled site where James Holmes -- armed with an assault rifle and other guns and wearing full body armor -- attacked moviegoers at a screening of "The Dark Knight Rises," killing 12 and injuring 70.
Holmes became linked to the Joker because of his bright orange hair and reports he called himself that when he was arrested ... though those reports turned out to be false.
The theater reportedly will not be showing "Joker" -- there are currently no showtimes listed and a theater employee tells The Hollywood Reporter no advance ticket purchases are available because the multiplex won't be showing the film.
It's unclear if this is out of respect, or fear of a copycat incident.
Either way, the decision to pass on "Joker" comes as family members of the Aurora shooting victims are expressing concerns about Phoenix's portrayal of Arthur Fleck, who becomes the Joker, and the violence that laces the film ... asking Warner Bros. to join the corporate leaders who understand "they have a social responsibility to keep us all safe."
Jaime King Car Smasher Going to Prison for Stalking

The man convicted of wrecking Jaime King's car circled back to stalk her with pics of his junk and other weird stuff, according to cops. Now, he's going away for a while.
Paul Francis Floyd recently pled no contest to one count of felony stalking -- a charge he was slapped with after flooding the actress with messages via social media, email, snail mail and texts.
All of that was a major no-no, of course, because back in April 2018 he terrorized Jaime by leaping onto her Mercedes-Benz and using a skateboard to go to town on her windshield and rear window ... all while her then 4-year-old son was in the car.
Floyd ended up getting sentenced to a year behind bars and 3 years of probation, but as soon as he got out he attempted to contact Jaime again.
Law enforcement sources tell us the messages included threats to Jaime, her family and her staff's family. He also allegedly sent pics of his genitalia and vids of him fighting people.
After the car smashing incident, Jaime had vowed to show up at Floyd's court hearing to stare him down to honor her son, who she says suffers PTSD from the incident.
Last week in L.A. Superior Court, Floyd entered the no contest plea, and was sentenced to 4 years and 8 months in a state prison. The judge also slapped him with a 10-year restraining order to stay away from Jaime and her family.

'House of 1000 Corpses' Actor Sid Haig Dead at 80
Sid Haig -- best known as Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie's "House of 1000 Corpses" trilogy -- has died.
The horror icon's wife, Suzie, shared the news Monday on Sid's own social media account, writing ... "On Saturday, September 21, 2019, my light, my heart, my true love, my King, the other half of my soul, Sidney, passed from this realm on to the next."
She went on to say, "He has returned to the Universe, a shining star in her heavens. He was my angel, my husband, my best friend and always will be." Suzie added, "He adored his family, his friends and his fans. This came as a shock to all of us. We, as a family, are asking that our privacy and time to mourn be respected."
Sid had recently been hospitalized and transferred to the ICU after he was involved in some sort of accident -- this per screenshots of his IG account, which was apparently run by his wife. On Sept. 6, she was asking for prayers.
Sid's rep would only tell TMZ that the accident was something that took place at his home.
The exact circumstances of his death remain a mystery, but the outpouring of love from the horror community has been overwhelming -- including from Rob Zombie himself, who shared a brief remembrance of his longtime collaborator.
Sid has starred as the patriarch of the Firefly family in "House of 1000 Corpses," "The Devil's Rejects" and most recently, "3 From Hell," which just hit theaters last week.
Aside from acting in Rob's films, he also starred in several other horror flicks over his 50-plus-year career, including roles in "Bone Tomahawk," "Hatchet III," "The Lords of Salem," "Devil in My Ride," "Night of the Living Dead 3D," and tons of other films.
He also starred on TV shows like "MacGyver," "The Fall Guy," "Jason of Star Command," "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman," "Mission: Impossible," "Get Smart," "Gunsmoke," "Star Trek," "The Lucy Show," "The Six Million Dollar Man," and countless others.
Sid had 149 acting credits to his name, and was considered a fixture in the cult horror genre. We last talked to him in 2017, he was catching us up on projects he was working on at the time -- saying he had 4 projects in the can. Dude clearly stayed busy.
He's survived by his wife, Suzie. Sid was 80.
