Some of Hollywood's biggest stars were living it up in Tinseltown last night and TMZ's Josh Levine was with them every step of the way.

Pat O'Brien kicked things off at restaurant-to-the-stars Mr. Chow, where "The Insider" and his girlfriend were enjoying a romantic date night.

Then, it was off to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where a ton of stars had just finished checking out the premiere of the new WWII flick "Flags of Our Fathers" including Ray Romano, Leelee Sobieski and the best wide receiver to ever emerge from West Canaan High School -- Tweeder aka Scott Caan. Jason Priestley also checked out the movie, along with his perfect wife and perfect sideburns.

Finally, it was off to Hyde, where Lindsay Lohan could barely contain her excitement after racing and beating a Bentley in an apparent race to the club, screaming to the defeated man, "I beat you!" But, she may not have been smiling for very long -- Lindsay's arch-nemesis, Greasy Bear Brandon Davis, entered the club just moments later.

TMZ was outside the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC for VH1's Hip-Hop Honors over the weekend and we couldn't believe the amount of celebs on hand.

We ran into acts like hip-hop legend Ice Cube, Big Boi from Outkast, the now free Lil' Kim, West Coast rapper Xzibit, Fat Joe, Ice T (who was with his wife Coco), Fabolous, "Surreal Life "star Da Brat, the original Sugarhill Gang and the Atomic Dog himself, George Clinton.

TMZ's cameras were all over the place this past weekend, bringing you all the action going down in Tinseltown.

We stopped by a fashion show on world famous Rodeo Drive and we ran into a very generous Rose McGowan, who stopped to pose for fans and sign autographs. Also on hand Debi Mazar, Kristin Davis, and beautiful blonde Amy Smart.

From there it was to -- where else? -- the clubs where the guest lists where filled with celeb names like "American Idol" star Taylor Hicks, "The War at Home" funny man Michael Rapaport, the always pimpin' Dennis Rodman, Lex Luthor himself Michael Rosenbaum, hip-hop hottie Eve, dancing queen Stacy Keibler, "Prison Break" bad boy Lane Garrison and Lindsay Lohan, who we caught holding a ton of red roses.

TMZ cameras and our very own Josh hit the streets of Hollywood on Thursday night to bring you another exciting edition of Star Catcher.

We started our day at the Ivy, where we ran into the beautiful and busty Pam Anderson. Mrs. Kid Rock was in her usual friendly mood as she exited the eatery, even stopping to pose for a picture with a fan.

As the sun began to set we made our way over to the newest LA hotspot, Area. We ran into Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, MTV's Nick Cannon and Channing Tatum. While Brody Jenner also hit the scene, without either one of the "Laguna Beach" girls, the recently single star was being quite generous with his cash flow.

TMZ was outside LA's newest hotspot Area when we ran into Brandon Davis's larger (and older) brother Jason. Jason, who is used to showing up to trendy spots all over LA and getting the brush-off from bouncers, actually got in this time. Maybe -- just maybe -- it was because his younger brother was already inside celebrating Nicky Hilton's birthday. Jason stopped for our cameras as he exited the club saying that it was "boring" inside and confirming that there were no catfights nor anyone on their way to the ER.

Hey Jason, lose the nonchalant attitude -- you should just be happy that you even got in!

She managed to stay on her feet, luckily, but she appeared to need help from two friends. Wearing a stripey shirt and a trendy bag, Avril was certainly looking like a true celebrity party-goer. Frankly, she acted like one too.

And to top it all off looks like they may have forgotten to pay for either the valet or the tab. It's hard to tell which with so much shouting and bird-flipping going on. (In case you were worried, whatever the money issue was, it was resolved.)

Heather Mills honked her horn and hit the accelerator while trying to exit a parking garage. And don't expect her to put the top down on her convertible purple PT Cruiser - even in sunny Los Angeles.

That's because everywhere the soon-to-be-ex-wife of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney goes she is mobbed by photogs.

In this video, Mills is clearly irritated by the paparazzi who circle her car while she waits a minute or two to get past the gate.

She leaned on the horn twice and when she finally had a clear path, we distinctly heard the screech of tires. Baby, you can't drive my car.

Paris hit her new fave boutique Sielian's Vintage Apparel, where she previously picked up 35 dresses, and bought another dozen vintage frocks.

Hilton sported what may have been scratches on her left arm from her incident with Shanna, but didn't let that get her down. We're told she acted nothing less than ladylike on her latest retail rendezvous.

After she was done indulging her credit card cravings, Paris said her assistant would come by later to pick up her purchases. Must be nice!

While there's no word on a Hilton/Moakler rematch, it looks like shopping is how Paris gets into fighting shape.

Anthony Michael Hall of "Breakfast Club" fame and Elisabeth Rohm, formerly of "Law and Order," grabbed lunch at the Ivy restaurant in Beverly Hills Wednesday. On their way out, Elisabeth Rohm was more than happy to sign autographs for fans while Anthony Michael Hall was, well, let's just say he was in a hurry. The "Dead Zone" star rushed into his car and seemed annoyed at his companion for keeping him from leaving.

TMZ was on hand for the grand re-opening of legendary nightspot Teddy's at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel last night, and the stars couldn't wait to celebrate.

On the way to the main event, we stopped by the Entertainment Weekly magazine party at Quixote Studios. Jenna Elfman rolled through the place with her husband Bodhi, and even managed to give an interview to a waiting reporter on her way out.

Then it was onto Teddy's, where we caught Lindsay Lohan taking a break from her usual scene at Hyde. TMZ's favorite red-headed party girl made quite an exit with a new mystery man. After the two got into Lindsay's black Mercedes Benz, they sped off like a bat out of hell. Fortunately, no one got hurt.

Hip-hop hottie Eve also rolled through Teddy's, along with bad boy Fred Durst and funnyman Jimmy Kimmel.

Bobby Brown was red flagged last night while trying to enter exclusive Hollywood hotspot Hyde. The doorman completely ignored Brown as Paris Hilton made her always easy, worry-free entrance right in front of him. Bobby had some fans that were just as confused as him saying "You're Bobby Brown, don't they know who you are??" Bobby answers, "I'm not a big celebrity or they would have let me in."

We're not sure why Brown was denied entrance, but it could be one of a couple reasons. Maybe it's because he is now firmly planted on the D-list (and his impending divorce from Whitney Houston doesn't help) or maybe it's the fact that there's a warrant out for his arrest.

The warrant was issued by a Massachusetts judge Monday for failing failed to appear at a court hearing. Kim Ward, his other baby's mama, claims Brown owes her $11,000 in back child support payments. But don't expect a major takedown on Sunset Blvd.; cops can't pick Brown up in California, the warrant's only valid in Massachusetts.

He quickly became famous for telling Tara Reid, Brandon Davis and Chyna Doll to hit the road, but last night the all-powerful doorman at Hyde got a taste of his own medicine -- courtesy of "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison.

On his way out of the club, Garrison stepped up to the podium and told the doorman, "You look good, the shoes are cool, we've known you for 14 years, we went to grammar school together, but you're not getting in the club because you haven't shaved," adding he should "go to the Chevron, get the $2.99 Colgate with the bad razor that's gonna cut you up, we might let you in there."

The doorman took it all in stride though, laughing even as the pesky "Prison Break"-er looked around and asked, "Can we throw him out?"

So if Lane gets denied from Hyde one of these days, now we'll know why.

With Paris Hilton out of town promoting her new album "Paris," the pop princess must have felt like she had missed out on a few things. On her first night back in Tinseltown, the lovely heiress was spotted at all three of LA's most popular hotspots doing what she does best, strutting her stuff and posing for cameras. Paris, who was with her usual clan including sister Nicky, made it very clear that she and ex Stavros Niarchos were over, saying "we are just friends".

Also out to accompany the teen icon, "American Idol" star Chris Daughtry, Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz and, looking stunning as always, Doritos girl Ali Landry.

Brody Jenner's apparently got a thing for the girls of reality TV -- specifically blondes from "Laguna Beach."

The "Prince of Malibu" was spotted heading into Shag last night with none other than Lauren Conrad, the well-known arch-enemy of his ex-girlfriend Kristin Cavallari. While TMZ could not confirm any romantic connection between the two, hanging out with your ex's enemy in public is still a pretty bold move. Also along for the evening was LC's "The Hills" co-star Heidi Montag.

With Katie sporting Jackie O. sunglasses and dressed all in black, Mr. Cruise cheered his daughter and her team on. Afterward the couple and Isabella braved the onslaught of paparazzi as they left the park.

If we've learned anything today it's that you don't get in Tom Cruise's way when he's got soccer on the brain (or has to use the restroom.)
