Maroon 5 was also well represented -- our cameras caught bass player Mickey Madden and guitarist James Valentine. Sorry ladies, no Adam Levine in sight.

We caught up with TMZ fan Dane Cook outside the Laugh Factory for the third time in a week. Dane took time to pose for pics with fans -- right in front of a giant Dane Cook poster. Surreal, man.

Don't expect to see a Stacy Keibler mugshot on TMZ anytime soon.

After a night of partying in Hollywood, the "Dancing with the Stars" beauty chose to take a cab home instead of getting behind the wheel. (Good girl, Stacy!) And before riding off, she let everyone know there's no place like home for Christmas this year.

Outside of Hyde, we caught Taboo of Black Eyed Peas, who threw up a deuce for TMZ cameras. Right behind him -- Kristin Cavallari and her latest man-friend, Nick Zano from "What I Like About You," smiled as they got ready to drive off together, and Kim Stewart and her entourage weaved their way through the flashing bulbs.

Making a less invasive appearance, Rick Salomon walked by looking important as ever while talking on his cell. And rounding out the evening, "Desperate Housewives" hottie Josh Henderson, who spent some quality male-bonding time with a former Britney Spears back-up dancer.

TMZ's crew and veteran cameraman Josh Levine were all over Hollywood last night, doing what they do best; catching all the action!

We started the night at Hollywood hotspot Area, where the girls were at it again. New BFFs Britney, Paris and Lindsay all showed up at the swanky L.A. club, setting the paparazzi into a frenzy with each arrival. Britney, who showed up with a few of her backup dancers, caught up with her past inside the club: our cameras spotted ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake entering just minutes before Britney!

Seems like Brit wants to keep your jaw on the floor ... meanwhile, feast your eyes on these.

Police were called to Hilton's Hollywood home after the heiress and new pal Britney Spears allegedly blasted music a little too loud for folks on the block.

The neighbors were already on edge after word leaked to paparazzi that the two blondes were planning on kickin' it at Paris' place after the American Music Awards. As the ladies arrived, a swarm of paparazzi unleashed a blinding flashbulb frenzy that lit up the whole neighborhood.

The police incident comes just days after Paris and a pantsless Britney were photographed in Vegas during a crazy girls night out.

Well, according to the resident analysts at CollegeHumor.com, not very much. The ribald comedy site employed a rigorously absurdist methodology to produce its very first ranking of the colleges where students can, in its own parlance, have "the most fun while putting forth the least effort."

No doubt the famous alumni and attendees of Michigan State University -- like James Caan, and Angelina Jolie and Christina Aguilera, who took correspondence classes there -- will be thrilled to hear that they've landed right at the top, with the most compelling mix of low SAT scores, late bar-closing times, and Greek-system density (among many other factors) amongst the fifty schools surveyed.

Big Ten schools did marvelously on the whole, with nine of its member colleges placing in the top 20 of the CollegeHumor rankings, meaning that such notable alums as Madonna (U. of Michigan), Kevin Kline (Indiana U.), and Ashton Kutcher (Iowa) were privy to some of the finest college-life available to young Americans, even if it was a few years ago. Will Ferrell's beloved University of Southern California apparently isn't a total hotbed of salacity, as it came in 34th.

It was a glorious carnival of celebrities and fans; with everyone from Tera Patrick to Shanna Moakler to the original K-Fed-exer, Shar Jackson, even the circus! Cirque du Soleil artistes strutted under the big top at Republic in WeHo, while the Svedka Vodka flowed and DJ Samantha Ronson spun the night away.

And then there was some do-it-yourself photography -- Tera and hubby Evan Seinfeld, among many others, stepped into our photo booth to say cheese and get funky.

Two anonymous plaintiffs are suing 20th Century Fox and One America Productions, claiming members of their college fraternity were interviewed to become part of the smash "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan" film.

The plaintiffs -- listed as John Doe 1 and John Doe 2 -- were allegedly assured the film would not be shown in the U.S. and their identities would not be revealed.

They were both selected to appear in the movie and, according to the suit, taken "to a drinking establishment 'to loosen up' and provided alcoholic beverages." They claim they signed the movie releases after "heavy drinking."

The suit claims both men were then taken to a motor home where they were filmed, all the while "encouraged to continue drinking."

The movie features a scene in a motor home where Cohen gets drunk with three frat boys who go on a racist rant about how they wished they had slaves and how minorities in the United States "have all the power."

According to the lawsuit, the frat boys only received $200 for the controversial appearance.

The plaintiffs claim they suffered "humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional and physical distress, loss of reputation, goodwill and standing in the community..." because the movie was indeed released in the U.S.

The suit asks for unspecified damages.

If there's one thing the "Simple Life" duo knows how to do, it's work a room.

The newly reunited terrible twosome were spotted in Brentwood Friday night, at party-planner Lara Shriftman's book party for "Party Confidential" (Bulfinch Press), where they made the rounds for an hour before jetting off. The two mingled with the large crowd, going person to person, hand-in-hand most of the time.

The post-baby, pre-wedding Katie Holmes is looking hot as ever, as she gears up for her November 18th marriage to Tom Cruise. Obviously, Tom's efforts to get Katie looking her best for the wedding are paying off.

Divorce looks good on Whitney Houston. Her recent split from Bobby Brown has created some very favorable side effects, namely, looking hot while out on the town with music-mogul Clive Davis. We can't wait for her comeback album!

Sources tell TMZ that Nicole Richie passed out at Hyde nightclub early Sunday morning in Hollywood.

We're told it occurred just before 2 a.m., when Richie passed out and fell to the floor. An employee approached Richie and her friends and said he was calling 911. Sources say they told the employee not to make the call and that they would take Richie to a hospital. The friends then carried Richie out of the club through the back door. TMZ does not know if Richie went to the hospital.

Before Richie collapsed, we're told she hung out for awhile with Lindsay Lohan inside the club. Lohan had her own bizarre tale early Sunday morning on a street in Hollywood.

Late last week, Richie's reps confirmed that the "Simple Life" star entered a treatment facility to determine why she hasn't gained weight. Richie has looked shockingly thin over the last few months.

Lindsay Lohan had a rough morning Sunday – and by the looks of it, a pretty rough night, too.

At 6:45 am, a TMZ spy spotted Lindsay at Olive and Sunset in Hollywood, near a dog park. Lindsay was sitting in her parked black Cadillac Escalade and our spy, who was walking his dog, could see Lohan through the tinted windows, "freaking out" and talking on her phone.

Then, Lohan called our spy over and told him that two men in a silver Toyota 4Runner -- parked behind her -- had been following her for the last two hours, trying to "hit" her vehicle. Our spy reports that "she seemed out of it," that it appeared she'd been out all night, and that she'd clearly been crying, with mascara running down her face. "I've called the cops," said Lindsay of her alleged pursuers. "But the cops can't catch them."

What Lindsay didn't even realize in her reduced state was that the two men in the Toyota were actually paparazzi. Our spy saw them snapping away. And, he says, as their vehicle started to creep up on Lindsay's Escalade, she shifted into drive, hit the gas and took off. The paparazzi followed her.

Just because a guy runs a blog doesn't mean he can't throw down. That's the message we got from blogger Perez Hilton after he was confronted by a photog at Wednesday night's Xbox 360 party.

TMZ's photo posse hit the streets of LA on Thursday night, which were filled with most of young Hollywood.

We started our night off at the celeb favorite Area and it was a chaotic scene as usual. Outside the club we caught up with "Simple Life" co-star Nicole Richie, rocker Travis Barker, playboy Dennis Rodman, "Girl next Door" cutie Elisha Cuthbert, former "Baywatch" beauty Nicole Eggert and up-and-coming rapper Won G, who stopped to give TMZ a quick shout out.

Next it was off to the newly re-opened Teddy's where the guest list was filled with young and old celebs. Frankie Muniz, former Playmate Traci Bingham, former Mr. J.Lo Cris Judd, Greasy Bear's brother Jason and former boy bander Joey McIntyre were all in attendance.

The Hyde doorman struck again, adding Shauna Sand to the list of the club's rejects.

The former Playboy Playmate and ex-wife of Lorenzo Lamas tried in vain to get into the Hollywood hot spot but apparently she didn't make a reservation and was shut down. Sand tried to cling to whatever fame she had left, signing autographs for seekers as she waited in front of the host stand.

Shauna's date, a younger and hotter version of her ex-husband, told our photog "Tell us that we are not the first?!" While he can rest assured knowing he's not the first to be denied and definitely not the last, the company he's keeping may not have helped matters.

Brangelina decided to go native while in Pune, India and the sexy couple was overrun with fans and photogs. Their rickshaw was surrounded every time they came to a stop. We wonder if little Maddox realizes that not every family causes a near riot when they go out.

Where's Britney while K-Fed paints the town red? The wannabe rapper, actor and model has been spotted twice in one week partying in LA while Britney is presumably at home watching the kids. Dude, next time get a sitter and treat your lady right.
