UFC's Tim Kennedy Re-Enlists With Green Berets ... Pumped for Trump!

Published | Updated

Ex-UFC fighter Tim Kennedy says he's reenlisted in the U.S. Army Special Forces -- and he's FIRED UP about it ... thanks to President Donald Trump.

37-year-old Kennedy has a 24-6 record as a pro MMA fighter -- with impressive wins over guys like Michael Bisping and Robbie Lawler.

But he's also a U.S. Army soldier and tells TMZ Sports he decided to re-enlist with the Green Berets when Trump was elected to the White House back in November.

He's also a HUGE fan of Secretary of Defense Gen. James Mattis and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster -- "I'm pumped to work for those guys."

Kennedy also gave us a quick tour of his home -- which is reinforced with bulletproof glass in case any bad guys try to mess with him.

Kennedy deploys within the next couple of weeks and, while he couldn't tell us the exact location -- he says it's a dangerous place and he'll be there to fight terrorists.

Daniel Cormier Put Me On Floyd-Conor Card 'Life-Changing Money'

Published | Updated

Daniel Cormier says he definitely wants in on the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight ... telling TMZ Sports he'd be cool taking 2nd billing in exchange for "life-changing money."

Of course, the fight would be Cormier vs. Jon Jones -- a rematch that would headline any other card.

Cormier says he hasn't been involved in any talks to appear on the card (probably because the main fight hasn't been made yet) ... but if it comes to fruition, he wants in.

"Any human being that gets part of the Pay-per-view would definitely want to be a part of that," Cormier says, "If you are on a card with Mayweather and McGregor, and me and Jon Jones. It would do ridiculous numbers. You'd get paid."

Regardless if the mega fight happens ... D.C. says there's 1 thing he's gotta do to cap off his career ... beat Jon Jones.

"I've won at every level. Beat some of the best guys in the entire world. And then, once I get through with Jones, I can do whatever I want."

REAL BOOBS, FAKE BOOBS, ALL GOOD

UFC strawweight Michelle Waterson -- aka the Karate Hottie -- doesn't like that fellow UFC fighter Pearl Gonzalez had to jump through hoops to get cleared to fight with breast implants ... and says all women with fake boobs should be allowed to fight.

The NY State Athletic Commission conducted a review into Gonzalez before UFC 210 once they learned she had implants -- but ultimately cleared her to fight.

Waterson -- who's fighting Rose Namajunas this weekend at UFC on FOX -- says breast implants are no big deal ... and as long as the fighter makes weight, she doesn't think there's any real problem.

Of course, the commission says it is looking out for the health of the fighter (we're guessing to make sure there's no risk of the implant popping) ... but Michelle seems to think there's no real concern.

The NYSAC said it conducted a review into Gonzalez based on information that came to light at the weigh in Friday morning. MMAFighting.com said the information was that Gonzalez has breast implants.

But moments ago, the NYSAC issued a statement saying, "The Commission has completed its review and has cleared Ms. Gonzalez to participate in UFC 210."

She will make her UFC debut against Cynthia Calvillo on Saturday night as planned.

It's the second major UFC bombshell of the day ... following Daniel Cormier's mysterious weight cut at the UFC 210 weigh-ins ... when he lost 1.2 pounds in 2 minutes.

UFC's Daniel Cormier Mysterious Weight Cut ... Loses 1.2 LBs in 2 mins!

Published | Updated

How the hell did Daniel Cormier lose 1.2 pounds in 2 minutes??!?

Huge dump? Big puke? Quick sweat session??

That's the question everyone is asking after the UFC star miraculously made weight for his UFC 210 fight after a nearly missing the cut at the official weigh-in Friday morning.

Long story short ... Cormier weighed 206.2 at his initial weigh-in -- 1.2 pounds over weight.

He left the room and came back 2 minutes and 24 seconds later ... and somehow, weighed in at 205 exactly. The fight with "Rumble" Johnson is now official.

But everyone wants to know what changed in those 2 minutes. Some conspiracy theorists think he grabbed the towel that was shielding his naked body and pressed down to fool the scale.

For the record, event officials have called BS on that theory.

We've reached out to D.C. for answers. Stay tuned.

Weidman appeared on "MMA Report with Mike 'Gunz' Gunzelman" and said his information about the fight is "a fact."

Of course, Dana White has disagreed the last few times we've seen him out -- while he's said he wants the fight to happen, the UFC honcho has said the 2 sides are insanely far apart when it comes to money. But maybe something's changed.

Still, Weidman seems very confident and explained why he truly believes Mayweather could be in for a VERY painful night.

ONE FIGHT TO RULE THEM ALL

If Jon Jones beats Daniel Cormier, he'll solidify his spot as the greatest UFC fighter of all time ... above Anderson Silva ... so says Alan Jouban.

In fact, Jouban says Jones already has a more impressive resume than Silva.

"When you look at the guy that Jon Jones has beat in comparison to the guys that Anderson Silva has beat, Jon Jones has beaten way tougher guys."

Jon's top victories include ... Daniel Cormier, Glover Teixeira, Vitor Belfort, Rashad Evans, Lyoto Machida, Rampage Jackson and Shogun Rua.

Silva's top victories include ... Stephan Bonnar, Vitor Belfort, Forrest Griffin, Rich Franklin and Dan Henderson.

Bottom line ... Jouban says he wants to see Jones stay clean and compete for a long, long time.
