Country music superstar Jason Aldean says his very open public display of affection with a former "American Idol" contestant -- who is NOT his wife -- was a huge, drunken mistake.

Jason released a statement today, apologizing for his indiscretion, after TMZ posted pictures early this morning of the country singer and "A.I." castoff Brittany Kerr getting up close and personal -- hugging, touching, and flirting at a very popular, crowded bar on the Sunset Strip (above).

Jason -- who has been married since 2001 -- says, "The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar."

He says, "I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself." And then adds, "I left alone and that's the end of the story."

TMZ obtained photos of Jason and Season 11 "A.I" contender Brittany Kerr taken on the crowded bar patio area at The Den on Wednesday night -- frequented by locals and tourists always on the hunt for celebrities.

In the photos Aldean and Kerr get very flirty ... hugging, touching each other and at one point it appears Aldean goes in for a kiss.

Aldean --- who performed this weekend in So Cal -- eventually left the bar in a cab without Brittany.

Here's the rub, Aldean is married to his high school sweetheart, Jessica Ussery, who he tied the knot with back in 2001 and they have 2 kids together.

And this week's painfully cringeworthy award goes to ... FLAVOR FLAV ... who met Miley Cyrus backstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and was convinced she was GWEN STEFANI.

The video was shot Friday night in Vegas -- showing Flav bumping into Miley backstage and getting really excited ... blurting out, "GWEN STEFANI!!!"

Miley doesn't correct him, she just smiles and gives him a hug. Then Flavor calls her Gwen again.

At that point, someone in Flav's camp pulls him aside and tells him it's actually Miley Cyrus.

At first, Flavor can't believe it -- but after the penny drops, Flavor tries to make amends ... turning to Miley and saying, "Do me a favor. Smack me."

Funny ... Gwen was also there Friday night ... looking NOTHING like Miley.

Paris Hilton is under fire for comments she made about gay men ... claiming, "Gay guys are the horniest people in the world ... they're disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS."

The comments were made during a Sept. 7 cab ride in NYC -- and Hilton's team claims the cab driver secretly recorded the audio while Paris was having a conversation with a gay friend.

During the conversation, a man can be heard bringing up Grindr -- a popular phone app that gay men sometimes use to find sexual partners.

Hilton responds, "Ewwww ... gay guys are the horniest people in the world. Most of them probably have AIDS ... I would be so scared if I was a gay guy ... you'll like die of AIDS."

Hilton's rep has released a statement ... saying, "Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease."

"The conversation became heated, after a close gay friend told her in a cab ride, a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex. He also discussed a website that encourages random sex by gay men with strangers."

"As she was being shown the website her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site. The cab driver who recorded this, only provided a portion of the conversation."

"It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about all gays."

"Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone’s sexual orientation.”

"Teen Mom" star Catelynn Lowell -- the girl who gave her baby up for adoption on the show -- got into some serious HIGH jinks this summer, ripping a massive bong at a party with friends.

The photo -- obtained by TMZ -- tells the story. It was snapped last month at a friend's get-together in Michigan -- showing Catelynn in rolled up jeans, igniting some sizable glassware ... and taking a big ol' hit.

Catelynn could've been the one "Teen Mom" star who ever appeared responsible and smart.

Amanda Bynes was driving aimlessly for hours Tuesday ... while smoking out of what appears to be a marijuana pipe and tooling around L.A. on a suspended license.

The photos -- obtained by TMZ -- show Bynes taking multiple hits out of a pipe that is designed to look like a cigarette lighter in your car.

In one shot, you see what appears to be remnants of marijuana in a cup holder. Some of the nugs appear burnt -- as if they had already been smoked.

The car is a mess. Trash is strewn everywhere. There are stains on the seat, empty bottles, dog hair and various other items.

Amanda started her journey at Baja Fresh in the San Fernando Valley, where she smoked from the pipe in the restaurant parking lot and ate tacos. She then went to a spa, where she spent 3 hours. We're told Amanda then drove without purpose for several hours, sometimes cutting off other drivers and violating various traffic laws. Amanda ended up at Home Depot, where she again took a hit from the pipe in the parking lot.

TMZ has confirmed ... Amanda is driving illegally, because the DMV suspended her license on August 25. As for why her license was yanked, we believe it's because she refused to take a sobriety test when she was busted for DUI in April. In California, such refusal results in automatic license suspension.

TMZ broke the story ... Amanda has been charged with 2 hit-and-runs and various drivers have complained that she has either hit them as well or created peril.

7:19 AM PT -- We now know what Amanda was buying at Home Depot -- multi-colored light bulbs ... including a pink one.

Chris Brown insists his brand new neck tattoo is NOT a bizarre homage to Rihanna -- but if you look closely, the resemblance is uncanny.

The last photo we've seen of Chris without the tat is dated August 30th and the above photo was taken on September 1st, so CB got the ink job at some point between those two dates ... nearly a week before Rihanna kissed him at the MTV VMAs.

Sources really close to Chris tell us any similarities the tat has with Rihanna's face are purely coincidental -- "It's a random woman."

But we still gotta ask ...

Writer/director Nick Cassavetes supports the phrase "If you can't keep it in your pants, keep it in the family" ... claiming there's nothing wrong with a little incest.

Cassavetes, whose new film "Yellow" features a brother/sister relationship, compared the taboo act to gay marriage while promoting the movie in Toronto this weekend.

Cassavetes explained, "Who gives a s**t if people judge you? I'm not saying this is an absolute but in a way, if you're not having kids -- who gives a damn? Love who you want. Isn't that what we say? Gay marriage -- love who you want?"

Someone get Peaches Geldof's baby a helmet ... because his 23-year-old mom just dumped his ass out of his stroller while blabbing on her cell phone in London ... and she didn't even hang up.

Peaches seemed to have the whole stroller-pushing thing down pat -- until she hit a pothole, and the stroller flipped upside down ... with her 5-month-old baby still inside.

The kid tumbled out onto the sidewalk and Peaches jumped into action -- all without hanging up her phone. As far as we know the baby's fine ... for now.

Peaches gave birth to Astala Dylan Willow Geldof-Cohen in April. The boy's father is British punk singer Thomas Cohen (from the band S.C.U.M.).

Before Kanye West was nailin' Kim Kardashian ... he used to nail other chicks while watching Ray J nail Kim Kardashian.

Multiple sources with first-hand knowledge of the situation tell us ... Kanye used the Kim K sex tape in the bedroom to get him in the mood ... and it always worked.

Chad Johnson desperately wants to let Evelyn Lozada know he still cares about her ... so he went out and got an image of her FACE tattooed on his right leg with the name "Eve" underneath it.

Johnson posted the photo on his Twitter page today ... the image is his new profile pic featured at the top of his page. It's unclear if the tat is real ... or of the temporary variety. Sources tell us Chad got the work done this past weekend.

Either way, Chad may not be getting his money's worth from the ink -- sources close to Evelyn say she still feels strongly about divorcing Johnson ... and she's made it clear to friends she will NOT be getting back together with the former NFL star.

As we previously reported, Evelyn filed for divorce last month ... three days after Chad allegedly headbutted her during a heated argument.

Chad was arrested for domestic violence over the incident -- but officials are still deciding whether or not charges will be filed against him.

A rep for Chad had no comment on the story.

Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil could barely stay upright last night at a gay NYC nightclub -- stumbling all over the place, laughing hysterically, flashing her panties ... and it was all caught on tape.

Seriously, words can't describe how wasted she was -- in fact, the 44-year-old mother was so messed up ... she had to be escorted off the stage because she kept trying to snatch the MC's mic away.

It's really awkward. The guy's expression says it all.

Krentcil had been invited to the midtown XL Nightclub to host the weekly "Hot Mess" party -- appropriately named -- but her hosting duties were cut short because she was so out of it.

You'll recall, Tanning Mom was charged with child endangerment earlier this year after allegedly bringing her daughter to a tanning salon. She pled not guilty.

So there he was ... Charles Barkley MURDERING a karaoke rendition of "End of the Road" at a bar in North Carolina ... when suddenly the guys from Boyz II Men appeared on stage and saved his ass.

It all went down at a bar in Raleigh -- Charles and B2M were in town for the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic to raise money for cancer research.

After Charles hit the links, he grabbed the mic during a karaoke event ... and proved once and for all that his voice is EVEN WORSE than his golf swing.

But just when the crowd at Lucky B's couldn't take any more ... Boyz II Men emerged from the crowd, and blew everyone away.

WWE superstar Cameron -- a member of the Funkadactyls -- allegedly offered police $10,000 to let her go after she was arrested for DUI last week ... this according to police.

TMZ obtained the arrest report filed by police in Tampa Bay, Florida ... which shows Cameron -- real name Ariane Nicole Andrew -- was arrested at 2:23 AM on Friday morning outside Tampa International Airport.

The report says Cameron blew a .20 ... more than twice the legal limit in Florida.

After cops took her into custody, the report says Cameron offered one of the officers $10,000 to "let her go because she would lose her job."

In the docs, cops say Cameron listed her employer as the WWE.

Cops say Cameron had a male passenger in the car ... who told police the two had been drinking martinis before getting in the car.

Cameron was booked for DUI ... but eventually released.

Vince Neil exploded on a group of parking attendants at the Planet Hollywood in Vegas last week -- banging on windows and screaming "GIVE ME MY F**KING CAR" ... and the outburst was all caught on tape.

It's unclear why the Mötley Crüe singer was so pissed -- and he was REALLY pissed -- but according to sources on scene, Vince flew off the handle when the valet refused to return his Rolls-Royce.

In the video, you can see Vince walk over to the valet booth, yelling, "Give me my f**king car! Give me my f**king car! Give me my car!" -- and then bang on the window.

Vince continues, "Call the police! This is my car. What the f**k is wrong with you?"

We're told the parking attendants wouldn't hand over the vehicle because Vince couldn't produce a parking ticket. You can hear Vince respond in the video, saying, "They didn't give me a f**king ticket!"

According to sources, police were called to the scene -- but by the time they arrived, Vince had already taken off ... and the valet company decided against filing a report. So that's that.

Supermodel Tyson Beckford's runway skills can now be purchased for $25,000 -- at least that's what some rich kid/aspiring model paid the guy recently ... to share his Zoolander wisdom.

The kid's name is Adam Sabbagh -- who you might recognize as the guy who purchased David Beckham's custom Porsche for $227,000 last year -- and we're told, the 26-year-old reached out to Tyson a couple weeks ago for some modeling pointers.

According to sources, Adam offered to pay Tyson $25,000 for his troubles -- and Tyson champed at the bit, agreeing to give Adam one coaching session at his NYC apartment on Wednesday in exchange for the fee.

We're told the class went off without a hitch, and now, Adam's hoping to land a modeling gig at NY Fashion Week next month.
