Ariana Grande Engaged to Pete Davidson

6/11/2018 1:27 PM PDT
Breaking News

Ariana Grande's whirlwind romance with Pete Davidson just got that much more serious ... we've learned the two are engaged.

Sources tell us Pete popped the question to Ariana in the last week ... and she, of course, said yes. The pair started officially dating just over a month ago -- following Ariana's split from rapper Mac Miller.

Things have heated up quickly between the two, with Pete getting two Ariana-inspired tattoos earlier this month.

Both Pete and Ariana are 24 ... it's the first engagement for both of them. Pete's also coming off a recent breakup ... he split with "Curb Your Enthusiasm" creator Larry David's daughter, Cazzie David, recently.

It's unclear exactly when Pete and Ariana met ... she was the musical guest and host for 'SNL' in March 2016.

Congrats!

Ariana Grande All Hugged Up with Pete Davidson ... He Gets My Mind

5/31/2018 2:19 PM PDT
Breaking News

Ariana Grande wants you to know how she and 'SNL' funny guy Pete Davidson hooked up ... and it's all about her mind, not her body. Okay, it's probably a little bit about her body, too.

Ariana posted a pic Thursday of Pete hugging her up real good and kissing her cheek with the caption ... "i thought u into my life woah! look at my mind!"

This PDA comes on the heels of Pete sharing a shot of them side by side in 'Harry Potter' cloaks. Nothing screams official couple like 'Potter' gear!

Both just broke up with long-term partners too. Ariana dated Mac Miller for almost 2 years, but they called things off shortly after Coachella. Davidson was dating Cazzie David, daughter of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" creator Larry David.

For those wondering ... Ariana last hosted and performed on the 'SNL' in March of 2016.

SNL Royal Wedding Reception ... We're Just as Screwed Up as You!!!

5/20/2018 6:36 AM PDT

SNL parodied the Royal wedding reception of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and the funny is also relatable ... everyone has screwed up family members.

Mikey Day played Prince Harry and walked through the party introducing friends and relatives from both sides ... from a royal with pedophile tendencies to a "Deal or No Deal" briefcase model.

Shout out to Alex Moffat for his Prince William impersonation, and Tina Fey for Auntie Creepy.

Of course a portion of the reception is devoted to Meghan's warring fam ... truth is, in this case reality is way more interesting than parody.

One hilarious line ... when one of the partygoers asks the Queen if she's pissed off over "The Crown," because the show makes her look like a bitch!

Michael Blackson Schumer Knows Better ... Don't Crash a Set and 'Lose Some Weight!'

5/10/2018 3:46 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Amy Schumer broke a huge rule on the comedy club circuit by crashing an up-and-coming comedian's stand-up set, according to fellow comic Michael Blackson

We got Blackson at LAX Thursday afternoon where he told us what Amy did this week at Carolines in NYC was just plain rude. If ya missed it, she interrupted Brendan Sagalow Tuesday night, right in the middle of his set to practice her monologue for 'SNL.' She's hosting this week.

Sagalow has said he's cool with how it went down, but other comedians are taking Amy to task. Michael says it's not that an A-lister like Amy doesn't get preferential treatment -- it's just that there's a way to do it, and Michael says Amy should know that.

He had some harsh advice for her, for which we suspect HE's gonna catch some flak.

Donald Glover on 'This Is America' What's It All Mean? Hmm, You Tell Me

5/10/2018 6:38 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Donald Glover is taking an equivocal approach on the meaning behind his new music video, saying it's not up to him to tell you what message to extract ... so, figure it out yourself.

We got Donald -- aka Childish Gambino -- Wednesday night at The Peppermint Club in WeHo, where our camera guy asks what exactly is behind "This Is America" -- which debuted on 'SNL' over the weekend.

Ever the artiste, Don isn't giving up the goods that easily -- instead, leaving it open to interpretation for the viewer. A lot of folks have weighed in on what it could represent ... from commentary on gun control, desensitized violence and black culture. Perhaps more.

Whatever its intended purpose, he's definitely got people talking ... which seems to be exactly what he wanted. Just look at Marlon Wayans ... he couldn't stop raving about it, or Donald's "strip club" moves.

Donald was at "The Stevie Wonder Song Party: A Celebration of Life, Love and Music." He took the stage with Stevie, Kelly Rowland, Jessie J and others to perform "Superstition" during the show.

Shaun White Hits the Beach With Hot Rocker GF

5/7/2018 9:33 AM PDT

Olympic snowboarding legend Shaun White got all romantic with his girlfriend, Sarah Barthel, over the weekend ... taking a stroll on a beach in Los Angeles.

White and Barthel have been together for about 5 years after meeting behind the scenes of "Saturday Night Live."

35-year-old Barthel is a rocker -- she's one half of the band Phantogram, which is about to kick off a cross-country tour of the United States.

She also looks damn good in a bikini.

Fun Fact: After the two met at 'SNL,' White let Barthel and her bandmate stay at his L.A. home while he was training for the Olympics ... and that's when things heated up.

Of course, 31-year-old White is also a musician and fronted the rock band Bad Things for years.

'SNL' Monstrously Spoofs Kanye With 'A Quiet Place' Parody

5/6/2018 5:00 AM PDT

Kanye West not only got people talking with his tweets, he got them screaming so loud the monsters ate them.

'SNL' did a hilarious spoof on "A Quiet Place," where Donald Glover and cast members were in a jungle, trying to stay all hush hush so the monsters couldn't hear them. But when Glover started reading Kanye's tweets about supporting Donald Trump, it proved way too much for silence.

The mere mention of Chrissy Teigen and her awesome recipes was killer, too.

And then there's "Lift Yourself" ... who can stay tight lipped when you heard "poopity scoop"?

Of course, Kanye's "TMZ Live" appearance was showcased with his back to the cam and all ... all and all it was a monster of a skit.

Dan Aykroyd I Got My 'Blues Bros' Reboot Stars ... Thanks to TMZ Photog!!

4/27/2018 3:28 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Dan Aykroyd's suddenly fired up to get the band back together, and this time his 'Blues Brothers' reboot could have 2 of the hottest women in hip-hop and comedy ... if Dan and our camera guy get their way.

We got Elwood Blues leaving e. baldi restaurant in Bev Hills, and asked him about his rumored "Soul Sisters" project. He excitedly told us he's making serious progress, and then our guy dropped the casting gem on him.

Cardi B and Tiffany Haddish! You gotta see Dan's reaction -- he's down with it. In fact, he even made our photog an offer he probably shouldn't refuse.

If this works out, and Cardi can work it into her very busy schedule ... we could be hiring soon.

Ben Stiller & Robert De Niro Cohen Meets the Special Counsel ... For SNL's Cold Open

4/15/2018 7:40 AM PDT

Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro did their best Michael Cohen and Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Saturday Night Live ... while also plugging their old comedy together.

Stiller played President Trump's embattled personal lawyer on SNL this weekend, and De Niro played Mueller ... who conducted a polygraph on the guy, just like their characters did in 2000's "Meet the Parents." The Byrnes and Focker jokes continued from there.

On a more seriously hilarious note, SNL threw haymakers at Cohen's predicament -- namely, getting raided by the FBI last week in relation to his $130,000 "hush money" payment to Stormy Daniels, among other things. They also went after Trump and his kids.

As long as there's an open Trump-related investigation(s) ... we're guessing SNL won't be running out of material anytime soon.

SNL 'This is Us' ... Trump Style

3/11/2018 7:07 AM PDT

It's one of the most biting parodies of the Trump Administration so far by "SNL" ... a spoof of "This is Us" called "This is U.S." and it spares no one.

Sarah Hucakbee Sanders is probably fuming today over her character, but Ben Carson may actually be getting a chuckle over his Sterling K. Brown-type character.  And who knew Pete Davidson actually resembled Jared Kushner and played him hilariously?

Check out t he last vestiges of Anthony Scaramucci, Hope Hicks and Sean Spicer ... again, hilarious.

"SNL" really went for the juggler this weekend ... doing a parody of "The Bachelor" but instead of Arie the main dude is Robert Mueller

You gotta think as much as they hate Trump the cast and crew might be a little torn at the 2020 ballot box -- if Trump makes it that far -- because the show hasn't been this good in a long, long time.

President Trump Unloads On 'Alex Baldwin' ... Actor Happily Takes Bait

3/2/2018 6:51 AM PST

President Donald Trump went nuclear on "Alex Baldwin" Friday -- ripping the actor for his "dieing mediocre career" ... and yeah, those are real quotes.

During his daily morning tweetstorm, Trump unleashed -- saying, "Alex Baldwin, whose dieing mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony."

"Alex, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent.

Trump deleted the misspelled post and replaced it -- but his message to Alec was received loud and clear ... and it didn't take long for Baldwin to respond.

Baldwin waxed on about impeachment hearings, a farewell helicopter ride and brought up Trump's porn star scandal ... just like you'd expect.

Alec signed off by tweeting, "On my way to shoot MOTHERLESS BROOKLYN and grateful to be working w Edward Norton, Cherry Jones, Willem Dafoe, Bruce Willis, Bobby Cannavale, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael K Williams. If this is mediocrity, give me more."

Guessing this ain't over ...

SNL Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch Revolutionary War Rivalry Between Pats and Eagles

2/4/2018 7:06 AM PST

Tiny Fey and Rachel Dratch returned to "SNL" for an hilarious skit about the Boston vs. Philly game, but this one rolled back time several hundred years.

The date -- 1776.  The place -- the freshly minted United States colonies.  The mission -- win the Revolutionary War.

The rivalry between the Pats and Philly is hilarious.  BTW, the Patriots are led by a dude named Tom Brady who, at 40, is several years beyond his life expectancy.

Best line ... "Boston's not even a real city.  It's a college town with a fishing pier."

SNL Weekend Update Skewers Trump Over Gov Shutdown, Stormy Daniels

1/21/2018 7:54 AM PST

SNL took aim at Donald Trump and fired.

Weekend Update hit the Prez hard on the government shutdown, but the Stormy Daniels commentary was hilarious.

Michael Che mused that Trump's comment to Stormy that he was afraid of sharks was understandable, because he has the body of a seal.

And check out Cecily Strong as Stormy herself. Super funny.

On the government shutdown, Colin Jost observed even a fake government -- "House of Cards" -- didn't shut down after Kevin Spacey was booted from the show.
