According to court records ... Aaron had an outstanding warrant related to felony domestic violence accusations leveled by Denise.

5:01 PM PT -- Michael Finley, Aaron's lawyer, tells TMZ ... Aaron was arrested on an outstanding warrant believed to be connected to Denise's allegations of physical abuse. Aaron was not aware of the warrant ... and Finley says to him, it sure feels like Denise and her legal team "set him up" by possibly incriminating himself in today's proceedings.

Denise Richards' estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, has been arrested after a contentious court hearing ... TMZ has learned.

Denise and Aaron were in court fighting over a permanent restraining order she wanted against him.

The hearing got heated when Aaron's mother testified she witnessed Denise throw a can opener at Aaron. She also denied her son ever abused or threatened Denise ... something Denise has repeatedly claimed.

President Trump is springing ex-Congressman George Santos from prison, saying the convicted fraudster has no business doing 7 years behind bars.

POTUS admitted Santos had been a "rogue" ... but added, at least Santos "had the Courage, Conviction, and Intelligence to ALWAYS VOTE REPUBLICAN!" That's enough in Trump's book to warrant a commutation of Santos' 87-month sentence for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.

Santos just went into federal prison in NJ in July, when he was open about his fears of being assaulted or even killed while doing his time. He stressed he was NOT suicidal ... just in case something happened to him.

We caught up with the comedian at LAX on Friday ... and we had to ask him -- from a professional comic's perspective -- about his thoughts on Sora-created videos featuring A.I.-MLK -- like the one of him in a WWE ring, or behind the counter at KFC, just to name a couple recent examples.

Rock says he draws the line at MLK ... saying he can see the humor in some of the videos depicting 2Pac and Biggie -- though they have legacies he doesn't want to see tarnished either -- but, the impactful civil rights leader is simply a bridge too far.

Denise Richards' saga with her estranged husband Aaron Phypers just got even more explosive ... Aaron is requesting half of the money she earns on OnlyFans, TMZ has learned.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Aaron alleges Denise makes $200K-$300K per month from photos she posted on OnlyFans ... and Aaron says he's entitled to half -- because he snapped the pics.

What's more ... he says he's dead broke and really needs the money to pay his rent and utilities ... a far cry from his married days when he claims he had access to joint accounts that held millions. But he now says Denise is freezing him out.
