"Swamp People" troublemaker Nicholas Payne allegedly battered a FEMALE cop on the night he was arrested ... and then tried to escape into the woods ... this according to Louisiana police.

TMZ has learned ... the 26-year old gator huntin' apprentice was arrested last month for allegedly striking a female police officer in the chest ... while she was trying to write him a citation for disturbing the peace at a private home.

Law enforcement officials tell us Payne tried to run off into the woods after the attack ... so a K-9 unit was dispatched to find him.

We're told one of the dogs located Payne ... and bit the guy so hard, the reality star had to be taken to a nearby hospital so doctors could treat the wound.

Cops say Payne's injury has since healed up.

Payne is still behind bars -- because he has not paid his $10,000 bail.

Wrestler Matt Hardy Another DUI Arrest 'He Almost Hit Two Drivers'

More trouble for ex-WWE champ Matt Hardy -- the 36-year-old was arrested for driving under the influence in North Carolina this week ... the second time in the last couple of weeks.

According to the arrest report obtained by TMZ ... cops received a complaint of a "possible drunk driver" late Monday afternoon ... who almost "hit two drivers three separate times."

When the cop spotted Hardy, the wrestler's car, "swerved into the curb and then back onto the road."

Once Hardy was pulled over, the officer claims Hardy "had slow and slurred speech, sleepy eyes and a very lackadaisical demeanor."

According to the report, Hardy took the walk-the-line test -- but "after taking two steps, Mr. Hardy lost his balance and failed to stay on the line."

Hardy took a breathalyzer -- but when the results showed he wasn't drunk ... cops called in a "Drug Recognition Officer" to perform even more tests.

Eventually, cops believed Hardy was under the influence of something ... and arrested him on the spot.

Hardy is scheduled to appear in court on November 30.

Daryl Hannah ARRESTED at White House

Daryl Hannah donned a familiar accessory outside the White House today -- HANDCUFFS -- after she was arrested during an oil pipeline protest.

The actress-turned-activist was busted with several other protesters -- when they sat on the sidewalk in front of the White House and ignored three requests by police to move.

Daryl's an old pro when it comes to getting arrested -- saying, " Sometimes it's necessary to sacrifice your freedom for a greater freedom. And we want to be free from the horrible death and destruction that fossil fuels cause, and have a clean energy future."

Hannah was famously arrested after she stopped traffic in West Virginia in 2009 -- blocking a busy street during a protest over mining practices.

Ex-TNA Wrestler Matt Hardy RUSHED to the ER

Troubled wrestling star Matt Hardy was rushed to an emergency room in North Carolina this morning after falling down in his home ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Matt tell us ... the ex-TNA star hadn't been feeling well ... but it's unclear as to what caused Matt to fall down.

So far, the extent of his injuries are unknown -- but a family member tells us Hardy is expected to be released from the hospital tomorrow.

It's been a rough month for Hardy -- as TMZ first reported, he was arrested on suspicion of DWI last weekend and was subsequently fired from his gig at TNA wrestling.

TMZ has obtained the photo of wrestling superstar Matt Hardy ... taken moments after he was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in North Carolina this weekend.

As we first reported, Hardy was arrested after his Corvette smashed into a tree Saturday.

Hardy submitted to a blood test following the crash. The results are pending ... but judging by the photo ... he's totally F'd.

A rep for TNA tells TMZ, "TNA today released Impact Wrestling star Matt Hardy from its roster. Hardy was already under suspension from the company."

As TMZ first reported, Hardy was arrested after his Corvette smashed into a tree this afternoon. He was not injured.

Sam Ronson's DUI Mug Shot ATTITUDE MUCH?

Sam Ronson dropped one hell of a sass-bomb when she posed for her mug shot yesterday -- moments after she was arrested for DUI.

As we previously reported, Ronson was driving back to L.A. from Vegas after a DJ gig -- when she was pulled over for speeding, and botched a field sobriety test. She was arrested on the scene on suspicion of DUI.

Ronson was released yesterday afternoon.

NeNe Leakes' Son Popped for Shoplifting

The son of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes was arrested in Georgia last night ... after cops say he tried to give himself the ol' 5-finger discount during a shopping trip.

According to officials in Gwinnett County, Bryson Bryant was charged with shoplifting and a probation violation around 9 PM local time last night.

It's not his first brush with the law ... Bryson -- who has appeared on the reality show with his mother in the past -- was arrested last year for marijuana possession.

So far, no comment from NeNe.

UPDATE: Law enforcement sources tell us Bryant is accused of jacking two Mach 3 razors from a Walmart .. and was busted by the Walmart security team.

We're told the 2 razors are priced at $14 a piece.

Rick Springfield I'm NOT Guilty of DUI

Rick Springfield pled not guilty to two counts of DUI this morning -- stemming from his arrest in Malibu back in May.

Lawyers for Springfield entered the plea on behalf of the 80's rocker -- who did not appear in court.

As TMZ first reported -- the "Jessie's Girl" singer was busted in Malibu on May 1-- after he was pulled over by L.A. County Sheriffs and blew a .10.

Springfield faces a maximum of 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted on both counts.

The 61-year-old is due back in court on August 15.

Rick Springfield Charged with DUI

'80s rocker Rick Springfield has been charged with two counts of DUI stemming from his Malibu arrest back in May ... but he will NOT be charged for threatening to "f**king kill" the arresting deputy.

TMZ broke the story ... the "Jessie’s Girl" singer blew a .10 after the L.A. County Sheriffs pulled him over on May 1.

Sources tell us ... Springfield was extremely angry after the deputy said his $200,000, 1963 Corvette Stingray would be towed away. Law enforcement sources tell us, Springfield yelled to the deputy, "If you tow my car I will f**king kill you and your family."

An L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. spokesperson explained officials did not take the threat seriously ... saying, "It is rare when a drunk doesn’t say something outlandish to police when they’re arrested."

If convicted on both misdemeanor charges, Springfield faces a maximum of 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Paulina Rubio Breastfeeding Helped Her Avoid Jail

The charges against Paulina Rubio were so minor, Miami police didn't plan to take her to jail yesterday -- but according to the police report, the final factor in their decision ... Rubio told cops she had to get home to breastfeed her child.

According to the report, after Rubio got into a car accident, the first officer on scene instructed her to get out of her car and onto the sidewalk. Rubio refused to get out of the car, the report states, at one point cursing at the officer in Spanish.

Once the officer told Rubio she was under arrest, got her out of the car, and placed the handcuffs on her, Rubio screamed out, "Help! Help! I didn't do anything! Look what they're doing! Help! Abusers! You bunch of liars! Help!"

The report says Rubio continued to yell at the officers even from inside the patrol car. An hour later, according to the report, Rubio calmed down and apologized. The officer says he issued her a summons to appear in court, and didn't take her in to jail, because she claimed to have "an extenuating circumstance (she breast feeds her 6 month old child)."

As TMZ first reported, Rubio was charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction of justice and refusal to obey a lawful command.

A rep for Rubio had no comment.

Paulina Rubio Arrested After Minor Car Accident

Paulina Rubio was arrested by police in Florida on Saturday afternoon after she got into it with cops following a small car accident -- but she was not taken into custody ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Rubio was involved in an accident just blocks away from the ocean in Miami.

According to law enforcement, the accident was relatively minor -- and Rubio was not at fault -- but she got into some kind of argument with officers on scene and was subsequently arrested.

We're told she was busted for disorderly conduct, obstruction of justice and refusal to obey a lawful command -- but the charges were small enough that Rubio was not taken into custody. Instead, she was issued a summons to appear at a later date.

Calls to Rubio's rep were not immediately returned.

Lil Wayne's Baby Mama -- Mug Shot After DUI Bust

Lil Wayne's baby mama #4 -- R&B singer Nivea -- was busted for DUI in Atlanta this weekend ... after she SLAMMED into a tree, with a kid in the car ... and TMZ has obtained her mug shot.

The drama began after Nivea left a nearby wedding reception for her friend Toya Carter (Lil Wayne baby mama #1) ... where she also hung out with Lauren London (L.W.B.M. #3).

According to law enforcement sources ... Nivea was on the road around 1:30 AM on Sunday when she plowed her '06 Mercedes right into a tree that had fallen into the road during a recent storm.

We're told when cops arrived at the scene, Nivea had "bloodshot, glassy eyes and smelled like alcohol." Nivea told police she only had 3 drinks earlier in the evening ... and didn't see the bright yellow crime tape and the traffic cones directing cars away from the downed tree.

Nivea was eventually arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and reckless driving. We're told the child in the car was not injured and was released to Nivea's boyfriend.

As for Nivea -- sources close to the family are adamant she was NOT drunk, or speeding, at the time of the accident.

Katt Williams Mug Shot Nick Nolte Called ...

TMZ obtained Katt Williams' mug shot -- taken moments after he was arrested after a stand-off with a tractor driver at a home in Palmdale, CA this weekend.

We broke the story ... Katt was arrested for felony intimidating a witness Saturday afternoon after several women on the property allegedly pelted the tractor driver with rocks.

When the guy tried to leave the property, Katt allegedly blocked the exit with his SUV -- and wouldn't budge ... until cops arrived.

Katt's rep had no comment.

Flo Rida's $1.7 Mil Car UNCHAINED!

Flo Rida's precious $1.7 million Bugatti was thiiiiiis close to being dragged to an impound lot after the rapper's DUI yesterday -- if not for Flo's trusty sidekick who came through with a HUGE assist at the last minute.

Tremont Towing in Miami Beach tells us ... Flo's Bugatti had just been loaded on to a flat bed truck headed for the impound lot -- when the truck driver got a call from one of the rapper's friends who had police approval to take possession of the vehicle.

We're told the friend had to spring for the $115 towing fee -- but it's a small price to pay to make sure the $1.7 million exotic ride doesn't rot with common whips in a dirty impound lot.

If you can't find a friend to drive your million dollar car home -- you need to find new friends.

Estella Warren CHARGED DUI, Hit-and-Run, Battery

Estella Warren can't escape this -- TMZ has learned, the "Planet of the Apes" star was just charged with DUI, hit-and-run driving, battery on a cop, and resisting arrest ... after an alleged alcohol-fueled joyride last month.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the L.A. City Attorney's office filed the four charges today -- each misdemeanors. If convicted on all charges, Warren faces a total of 2.5 years in jail.

As we previously reported, Warren was arrested last month after allegedly boozing up and slamming into three cars, kicking a cop, and escaping the police station.

Estella dodged the escape charge on a technicality -- because she hadn't been booked when she slipped out of her handcuffs and bolted from the police station.

Warren is due back in court next week.
