Sorry Kim Kardashian ... and every other celeb who gave their kids weird names ... Jamie-Lynn Sigler is naming her baby boy Chris ... or Steve, or Nick, or ... some other completely normal boring name instead.

A ready-to-pop Sigler was out in L.A. yesterday when we asked if she'd be going in the "North West" or "Apple Martin" direction when deciding on a name for her child -- and she tells us, "It will be a NORMAL name. A real name."

Queen Elizabeth's hidden treasure is no secret to Dr. Marcus Setchell -- aka the Royal gynecologist -- who will also get under Kate Middleton's hood to deliver, arguably, the most anticipated fetus of the year.

No pressure, doc (hope that catcher's mitt is broken in)!!

Jessica Simpson's fat days are numbered ... she just popped out baby #2, TMZ has confirmed.

Jessica's rep tells TMZ ... the singer gave birth to a baby boy earlier today in an L.A. hospital. She and Eric Johnson named the lil tyke Ace Knute Johnson. North was taken.

Kim Zolciak isn't trying to smoke out her fetus -- and instead claims the shots of her puffing a cigarette while pregnant were NOT shot yesterday ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Kim tell us, she has sent a cease and desist letter to the agency ... accusing them of purposely deceiving the public about 2 sets of photos they shot.

Kim is claiming the shots of her smoking were taken quite some time ago ... though she doesn't remember exactly when.

We're told Kim says she was actually photographed yesterday by the agency (above) -- while wearing black sweat pants -- but not smoking.

According to our sources, Kim feels the agency defamed her by creating a made-up scandal -- and she also claims the photog was trespassing when the smoking pics were taken.

Sources tell us the independent photog, who works for the agency, was on private property ... so they've pulled the smoking photos.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were not inspired by a compass when they named their kid North ... fact is, the name's more inspirational than directional.

Sources close to K & K tell TMZ ... they chose the name North because they see it as a metaphor for "up", telling friends, "What's North of North? Nothing." Translation ... nothing better.

We're told the duo believes baby North is their highest point together as a couple ... the pinnacle of the relationship ... and they consider her their "North Star."

Kinda sweet. Almost makes ya feel bad for mocking it, right?

Almost.

Source close to KK tell TMZ ... it was a NATURAL CHILD BIRTH. She started having contractions Friday night and went into full labor early Saturday AM.

Our sources tell us the baby and Kim are both in good health. We're told Kim delivered the baby at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center this morning ... 5 weeks early.

Our sources say BF Kanye West was there for the entire thing -- in the delivery room by Kim's side. We're told Kanye cancelled his appearance at his own record release party last night when Kim told him she was feeling "a little off."

It is the first child for Kim and Kanye.

Jessica Simpson was involved in a dastardly conspiracy with OK! Magazine to make a buck by grabbing a man's baby and mugging with the infant for the camera, making it appear as if the child were hers ... this according to a bizarre new lawsuit.

According to lawsuit uncovered by The Times-Picayune in New Orleans, Christopher Hurst took his teenage daughter and infant son to a department store in October 2011 to meet Simpson.

The lawsuit claims ... when Hurst got close to Simpson, a stranger suggested he hand his infant over to Simpson ... who was pregnant at the time.

Hurst obliged, and then, according to the suit, a photog came out of nowhere and began snapping pics.

According to the suit, Hurst was stunned months later when OK! splashed the pic on its cover, making it appear it was Jessica's baby. The irony -- Jessica's baby wasn't even born yet.

The lawsuit accuses Jessica of being in on the plot, claiming she had a deal with a competing mag to sell the first baby pic for $800k, but then got greedy and hatched a plot with OK! to double dip with a baby that wasn't even hers.

Hurst is suing Simpson, OK! magazine, and Getty Images for damages in excess of $75,000.

It's clear from the photo, mother and daughter are crazy in love.

Kim Kardashian did her best to keep the goings on inside her baby shower yesterday a secret, but she failed to wrangle her crazy Aunt Karen ... who blabbed all about the party to the paps ... but some of what she said was just plain wrong.

Karen Haughton, who is Kris Jenner's sister, clearly had a good time and was as chatty as can be as she made her way out. She struck up conversations with photogs and posed for pics with fans ... all while she spilled details of what went on inside.

Karen -- who may have had a mimosa or 2 -- had a couple of teeny-weeny facts wrong:

-- She said the guests scored Rolexes as shower gifts (not true)
-- Kanye and Kim are the same height (not true)
-- She says she ate cake, and then seconds later said there was no cake, just cookies

Bruce Jenner's memory is disappearing faster than Kim's figure ... because the Kardashian patriarch has met Kanye West SEVERAL times, despite claiming he's only met the rapper once -- and Kim is pissed at her stepdad for saying it.

We've done our research -- and came up with at least FOUR different occasions where Bruce and Kanye were both present ... Kourtney's baby shower in May 2012, a taping of "X Factor" in November 2012, a Clippers game in December 2012, and the Kardashian family Christmas party.

The photographic evidence contradicts what Bruce told Extra this weekend ... that he only met Kanye once in his entire life, saying, "[Kanye is] not around."

We're told Kim's upset with her 63-year-old stepdad ... because Bruce makes it sound like Kanye doesn't care about the family.

And here's a clue that maybe Bruce isn't so into Kanye -- back in April, 2012, he said he was "not that excited" when Kim started dating the rapper ... because he felt Kim was rushing into a new relationship too quickly after leaving Kris Humphries.

Crazy week for celebrities ... and speaking of crazy, we gotta ask ...

Rather than simply come out and say "I am not pregnant" ... Beyonce chose to deflect the rumors once again ... this time by posting a photo of her drinking a glass of wine with hubby Jay-Z.

Rumors of Bey being knocked up have been swirling for weeks, beginning when she canceled a concert in Belgium and cited the dreaded "exhaustion and dehydration."

She also posted (and quickly deleted) a diatribe on Instagram slamming the rumors ... but at no point has she ever denied them.

This photo doesn't put the rumors to rest either ... doctors aren't completely against a pregnant woman having a glass of wine every now and again. So we ask ...
