LeBron James: Trump Made Hate Fashionable Again

Published | Updated

Two NBA superstars are going off on Donald Trump -- LeBron James and Steve Nash -- trashing POTUS over the comments he made about anti-racist protesters in Charlottesville.

"Hate has always existed in America. Yes we know that but Donald Trump just made it fashionable again," Bron posted ... "Statues has nothing to do with us now!"

James is responding to Trump's news conference Tuesday in which he said alt-left protesters were also to blame for the violence in Virginia. He made a specific reference to protesters removing a statue of Robert E. Lee.

"This week, it is Robert E Lee," Trump said ... "I noticed that Stonewall Jackson's coming down. I wonder is it George Washington next week and is it Thomas Jefferson the week after?"

Trump then mentioned that he owned a winery in Charlottesville ... and that set off Steve Nash.

"To defend white supremacists and then slang his sh*tty ass grape juice pretty much sums the man up."

LeBron has been ripping Trump for months -- and just this weekend wore a red hat to spoof Trump's "Make America Great Again" fashion line.

Donald Trump taketh back what he giveth ... he's back to saying there was violence in Charlottesville Saturday on both sides -- left and right.

The President faced reporters at Trump Tower in NYC Tuesday and blamed the "alt-left" as much as the alt-right for the violent showdown.

When he was confronted by a reporter, he hurled an insult and moved on.

Trump scored with one fan ...former KKK leader David Duke just tweeted, "Thank you President Trump for your honesty & courage to tell the truth about #Charlottesville and condemn the leftist terrorists in BLM/Antifa."

Ezekiel Elliott Appeals NFL Suspension

Published | Updated

Ezekiel Elliott has officially filed his appeal against the NFL for the 6-game suspension he got in the wake of a domestic violence investigation.

The NFL now has 10 days to schedule a hearing, according to Adam Schefter.

The Dallas Cowboys running back has adamantly denied allegations he attacked his ex-girlfriend on multiple occasions in 2016 ... and points to the fact prosecutors decline to file charges against him.

The accuser claims Elliott got violent with her at least 3 times during July 2016 -- striking her in the face, arms, legs and neck.

Elliott says the bruises she showed to police were the result of a bar fight she was involved in -- and were not the result of domestic violence.

Elliott's camp told TMZ Sports, "All we can say at this time is that Mr. Elliott’s appeal of the NFL’s decision will not only completely refute these false allegations but also shed light on the accuser’s lack of credibility and true motives so much that it will place the NFL's entire findings into question and jeopardize the integrity of the decision."

Ariana Grande Concert Manchester Bombing Victims' Families Each Getting $324k

The "We Love Manchester Emergency Fund" will distribute $324k to each of the families of the 22 people killed in a terrorist attack at Ariana Grande's concert.

Approximately $24.5 million was raised following the horrific attack on May 22 at the Manchester Arena ... where Ariana had just finished her concert seconds before a nail bomb exploded in the rotunda. The victims were as young as 8 and at least 59 people were injured.

Sue Murphy, the chair of the trustees of the fund, said "the payments will ensure the families benefit from the phenomenal outpouring of public support following the attack."

Part of the funds -- some of which came from Ariana's One Love benefit concert -- went to those who were hospitalized as a result of the attack.

Murphy said they'll look into how to distribute the remaining funds.

Tiger Woods Traces of Weed In System ... During DUI Arrest

Published | Updated

Tiger Woods had 5 different drugs in his system at the time of his DUI arrest -- including painkillers and THC, the main chemical compound in marijuana.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office released the toxicology report from the May 29 arrest -- in which Tiger was whacked out of his mind when officers found his car on the side of the road.

The report shows Tiger tested positive for Hydrocodone (painkiller, generic form of Vicodin), Hydromorphone (powerful painkiller known as Dilaudid), Alprazolam (aka Xanax), Zolpidem (sleeping pill also known as Ambien) and THC.

Woods had chalked up the arrest to an unexpected reaction to prescription medication -- "I didn't realize the mix of medications affected me so strongly."

He never mentioned weed.

Woods announced he was getting treatment after the arrest and later struck a deal with prosecutors to enter a DUI diversion program.

The program essentially means Woods gets 12 months probation and he's required to complete DUI education classes.

Taylor Swift Verdict Beats DJ's Ass In Butt Grab Trial

Published | Updated

Taylor just issued this statement, "I want to thank Judge William J. Martinez and the jury for their careful consideration ... [my attorneys] and anyone who feels silenced by a sexual assault, and especially anyone who offered their support through this four-year ordeal..."

Taylor went on, "I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this. My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves."

Taylor Swift just got very important new fans ... and they just unanimously gave her a huge win in her butt groping trial.

The jury ruled David Mueller did indeed commit sexual assault by grabbing her butt at a meet and greet after a 2013 Denver concert. They gave her $1, which is what she was asking.

The jury also ruled Taylor's mother and staff did not intentionally interfere with Mueller's employment.

As we reported ... Tay filed her $1 countersuit against the former DJ on principle.

Taylor was in court to hear the verdict. She hugged her mom and her attorneys. As for her mom ... she cried.

Swift testified during the trial and was unmovable, calling BS on Mueller's claim that all he did was touch her rib cage. She says he latched on to her bare ass underneath her skirt.

Mueller had sued Swift for defamation, claiming her allegations cost him his job. The judge threw out his case against Taylor, Friday, saying he never proved during the trial she directly made him lose his job.

Donald Trump Belatedly Condemns White Supremacists by Name

Published | Updated

Donald Trump finally caved to the public pressure by condemning white supremacist groups at the center of the violence in Charlottesville.

Trump announced Monday from The White House a civil rights investigation has been launched by the Department of Justice surrounding the terrorist attack.

The Prez called out white supremacists by name, saying ... "Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans."

Trump took enormous heat over the weekend when he condemned the violence and bigotry in Charlottesville from "many sides" but failed to specifically mention white supremacists.

2 days of backlash makes a world of difference, apparently.

Ric Flair Hospitalized 'We Need Your Prayers'

Published | Updated

Pro wrestling icon Ric Flair has been hospitalized -- and it sounds serious.

The Nature Boy's reps confirmed the 68-year-old was hospitalized over the weekend -- but Legacy Talent Agency insisted it was for "routine monitoring" and there was "no reason to panic."

But things changed by Sunday night, when the reps posted, "We need your prayers, positive energy, and well wishes for our Living Legend as he is dealing with some tough medical issues."

The agency has not said exactly what those medical issues are.

Flair was reportedly admitted to the ICU with "heart-related issues," according to ProWrestlingSheet.com.

We just saw Flair out back in May -- and he told us not to let terrorists scare them away from sporting events.

He's also been campaigning for his friend Kane, who's running for mayor in Tennessee.

Chaos in Charlottesville Car Plows Into Crowd, 1 Dead Warning: Graphic Video

THE VIOLENT STRIKE

3:30 PM PT -- The Charlottesville police chief says the victim killed was a 32-year-old woman who was crossing an intersection. The driver -- a male -- was captured moments after attempting to flee the scene of the crime. He's in police custody, and charges are expected for criminal homicide.

The chief says at least 35 people total were injured Saturday as the result of "premeditated violence" -- including 19 from the car plowing into the crowd of protesters. He says the injuries range from life-threatening to minor.

1:30 PM PT -- A state official says the driver of the car that plowed into protesters is in custody.

12:30 PM PT -- Charlottesville Mayor Mike Signer says 1 person has died from the car crashing into the crowd. Health officials say 20 patients were taken to UVA Medical Center with injuries and confirm one death.

Multiple outlets are reporting the pedestrians who were struck were protesters of the white nationalists' rally.

A car plowed into a group of people in Charlottesville causing bodies to go flying ... then floored it in reverse away and appeared to drive off.

Be warned -- the video is graphic. It looks like a van is slowly driving down a street with a silver car following, and then out of nowhere a gray Dodge Challenger smashes into the silver car ... causing a violent chain reaction.

Another angle of the gray car plowing into the crowd suggests it was a deliberate hit and run.

It's unclear if the people struck by the car were part of the alt-right rally or protesters or both ... but you hear someone in the first video yell, "That nazi drove into people!" Multiple injuries have been reported.

As we reported ... Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe declared a state of emergency Saturday after violent clashes broke out before an alt-right rally.
