The Weeknd is the one who ended his relationship with Selena Gomez -- not vice versa -- and it had nothing to do with Justin Bieber ... TMZ has learned.

Multiple sources connected to The Weeknd and Selena tell us, their relationship had been fizzling out since Summer. They had rarely seen each other because of his touring schedule and her shooting schedule. They started talking less frequently on the phone.

We're told Abel enjoyed being single before he met Selena and felt unfairly tied down in a relationship that had lost its passion. Our sources say several weeks ago Abel called Selena, explained how the relationship was no longer working for him and then ended it.

Our sources say the 2 remain friendly and have even talked several times since the breakup.

As for Justin Bieber ... we're told he was not a factor in the breakup. Justin's apparent reignited relationship with Selena didn't start until after she and The Weeknd went their separate ways.

As for Abel ... he's not sulking. Check out our video shot Monday night. He's a quick rebounder.

Some of Chris Pratt's best characters have become awesome Halloween costumes ... so you'd think he'd whip one up for some incognito trick-or-treating with his kid.

But nope ... Chris went the normal dad route -- v-neck sweater -- to take 5-year-old Jack candy hopping Tuesday night in West Hollywood. Jack opted for Captain America 'cause ... he's gotta be sick of Star-Lord references, right?

Actor Scott Grimes may get laughs on "The Orville," but there's nothing comedic about his wife's new project -- she's filing for divorce ... TMZ has learned.

Megan Grimes filed legal divorce docs Friday after 5 years and 10 months of marriage. She's requesting spousal support and lists the date of separation as Oct. 27 ... the same day she filed.

Scott's also the voice of Steve Smith on FOX's "American Dad" ... and he was also on "Party of Five" as well as the HBO series, "Band of Brothers."

The couple has no children together -- but Scott has 2 from a previous marriage.

Sources close to the situation tell us Selena and Abel split recently -- this after publicly dating for a little more than 10 months. We broke the story ... the couple was first seen making out in public back in January.

It's been a fun ride with these two -- we've seen them put on the ultimate PDA in just about every damn setting you could imagine ... from a Dave & Buster's date to a tour of the Galleria dell'Accademia in Italy, plus hand-holding at Coachella ... and everything else in between.

As we reported ... Selena received a kidney from her BFF this summer, and The Weeknd was around to support her at the time. But it's no secret now ... Selena and Justin have been spending A LOT of time together recently, sans Abel. People first reported the split.

Jeremy Meeks is an absentee father whose success as the so-called "Hot Felon" went straight to his head ... so claims his estranged wife.

Melissa Meeks filed docs demanding child and spousal support, as well as sole legal and physical custody ... claiming Jeremy sees their 7-year-old son "maybe 2 days a month."

In docs obtained by TMZ, Melissa says Jeremy "basically lives as a playboy with a rich girlfriend" ... TopShop heir Chloe Green. Melissa claims he drives a $150k car and has lots of jewelry now.

She doesn't list how much she wants in support because "I am not yet sure of his income, but I am sure it is more than mine."

She says Jeremy's "success went to his head and he left us." As we reported ... he filed docs back in July to separate from Melissa after 8 years. He filed for divorce in October.

Shannon Beador and her husband, David, have separated after 17 years of marriage ... TMZ has learned.

The 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star told her fellow housewives Friday while filming the season 12 reunion show. She says David and her split a little more than a month ago.

Shannon released a statement saying she felt alone in her marriage and tried to do what she could to keep the family together ... but it wasn't working in their relationship.

Shannon and David's rocky relationship has been portrayed on the show during her 4 seasons, especially a bombshell in season 10 -- that David cheated on her. They worked on repairing their marriage ... but it was very up and down.

Tamar Braxton won't have to go through her divorce alone ... 'cause the cavalry has arrived.

We got the Braxton sisters, sans Toni, at LAX and it's clear they've got Tamar's back. In fact, it's no coincidence they arrived days after she filed to divorce Vincent Herbert.

The Braxton ladies hinted this is sort of a family tradition.

Towanda told us they all have experience, unfortunately, in dealing with this kinda thing -- so they're prepared to get Tamar through the tough times.

Tamar Braxton was depressed for months after she was fired from "The Real" ... and it wreaked havoc on her marriage that ultimately failed.

Sources close to Tamar tell TMZ ... the singer's marriage to estranged hubby Vince Herbert suffered an irreparable fracture after going through a time of depression stemming from her firing in May.

While they're no strangers to a roller coaster of a relationship, we're told losing the gig created bigger issues because it compounded an already teetering relationship. And one of the first steps to get back on track -- moving out 3 months ago, even though they acted like a couple just 2 weeks ago.

Our sources say Tamar and Vince put on an act in NYC as an engaging couple simply to promote their show. At this point, we're told Tamar had already moved in to a baller high-rise.

Her 2-bedroom luxury condo in Bev Hills goes for around $15k a month. Some of the building's amenities include an indoor 75-foot lap pool, an outdoor pool as well, 5 gyms, a spa, a restaurant with free bar, a screening room ... seriously, there are more amenities than any building in America.

Ne-Yo's ex-fiancee, Monyetta Shaw, is fine with him welcoming another kid with his new wife, but his fans are accusing him of hypocrisy because he allegedly pushed for his ex to tie her fallopian tubes.

The singer announced he's expecting baby #2 with wife Crystal Smith Wednesday on Instagram. Instead of the usual congratulations, people called him out on expanding his brood after allegedly telling Monyetta he didn't want to have more kids.

A little back story ... Monyetta has said in the past that she and Ne-Yo mutually agreed she'd have a tubal ligation, and he'd have a vasectomy after the birth of their second kid. She followed through, he didn't ... then called off their engagement.

One angry fan commented on Ne-Yo's announcement: "Don't get why u made ur other baby mama burn her tubes just to move on n keep having kids ... that's just plain ole mean smh nice music but an asshole in real life."

Another went after Crystal, calling her a "snobby hoodrat" and firing this warning shot: "@itscrystalsmith he will shut on you eventually like he did baby mother #1. Trust me. You just needed stabilty with a check."

As for Monyetta, she was less harsh ...

Tamar Braxton isn't into sharing when it comes to custody of her son ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... Tamar filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert, citing irreconcilable differences. We now have the divorce docs, in which she wants full physical custody of 4-year-old Logan.

It sounds like there's no love lost here. Tamar also wants the judge to turn thumbs-down if Vincent asks for spousal support.

As for assets, Tamar lists one big-ticket item ... their house in Kardashianland ... aka Calabasas. She acknowledges the house is community property. There is no evidence of a prenup.

9:02 AM -- Tamar's rep tells TMZ the singer made an "extremely difficult decision" in filing for divorce. The rep adds, "Collectively, their son Logan and his well being during this very unfortunate process is most important.

Tamar filed divorce docs Tuesday in L.A. County. She and Vincent have been married for nearly 9 years -- they're one month shy of their anniversary. Tamar and the record exec have one child together -- their 4-year-old son, Logan Vincent.

It's the end of a long relationship -- Tamar and Vincent started dating in 2003. Her sister, Toni Braxton, had been working with him and introduced them.

The couple had a domestic dispute in August, 2016 in an Atlanta hotel. Police were called after he allegedly bit her hand during the argument.

Although they stayed together after that ... sources connected to the couple tell us it's been a rollercoaster relationship, and Tamar recently moved out of the family home.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are back to spending time together -- most recently at her house with friends -- but don't make that leap yet ... she's still with The Weeknd.

We got pics of Selena walking into her Studio City pad Sunday evening... about 10 minutes after Justin arrived there in his white G-Wagon. Multiple sources tell us they also hung out once last week.

The get-together at her house was not a secret -- we're told they had mutual friends there too ... and The Weeknd was fully aware of it. The only reason he wasn't there is because he's on tour.

As for the exes -- we're told they were at the house with their pals until at least midnight ... and there was nothing romantic about it. They've been talking -- first reconnecting around the time Selena announced she'd undergone a kidney transplant ... but it's all copacetic.

Our Weeknd sources dispute there was any other face-to-face meeting besides Sunday ... but we're told the singer knows Selena remains friends with Justin.

Mel B coldly boxed up and tossed out her estranged husband's stuff ... according to Stephen Belafonte, who's not taking it well.

Stephen says Mel packed up 10 boxes of his belongings, which he picked up on Oct. 4 -- but he was shocked at what was NOT in the boxes. He says he was expecting to see his personal baby pics, clothes, shoes and paperwork.

Instead, he says all he got were Mel's old clothes, some crappy used towels and his step daughter Angel's clothes. Stephen thinks Mel trashed his stuff in retaliation. He's filed docs asking the judge to let him go on a search and recover mission.

Remember, Mel has a restraining order against Stephen -- but he's requesting a 2-3 hour reprieve, so he can go into the house and get his stuff.

Ewan McGregor reportedly split from his wife, Eve Mavrakis, as early as 5 months ago ... which became clear after he was seen sucking face with his TV co-star.

Ewan and Eve quietly separated back in May of this year, according to People ... but the news wouldn't have come out if it wasn't for pics taken of him kissing his "Fargo" co-star, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, at a London cafe over the weekend.

Ewan and Mary Elizabeth play love interests on the show ... looks like they took the romance off-camera too.

As for the now-exes, they've been married since 1995 ... and have 4 daughters together. We reached out to Ewan for further comment ... so far, no word back.
