Amber Heard I Did Not Refuse to Sit For My Deposition

Published | Updated

Amber Heard's camp has come out swinging, claiming she did not refuse to have her deposition taken Saturday.

A member of Amber's team tells TMZ ... "Although she was ready, willing and able to go forward with her deposition, it was not taken by Johnny's attorneys. She waited for 10 hours and at no time did Amber ever refuse to start the deposition. There was nothing preventing Johnny's counsel from commencing the deposition."

They do not explain why Johnny Depp's lawyers would not want to grill Amber. As we reported, they were all present and had both a court reporter and videographer at the ready.

The team member also says Johnny's camp agreed to have Johnny's depo taken this Wednesday, but now says they can't make the date.

And they dispute the claim Amber was an hour and a half late for the depo. Even though it was called for 10 AM, they say they "confirmed" Amber would be arriving at 11. And they say she was there at 11, but didn't enter because they were blindsided by paparazzi.

For the record, Amber knew paparazzi were present long before she arrived.

Nasty Gal Founder Calling It Quits on Marriage ... Like a #GIRLBOSS

Published | Updated

Sophia Amoruso is proving she really is a #GIRLBOSS -- even in divorce.

The founder of the Nasty Gal clothing site, and author of the best-selling memoir "#GIRLBOSS" ... has just filed to divorce her musician husband, Joel Jarek DeGraff -- and it looks like he won't get a dime of her empire.

According to the docs, they had a pretty detailed prenup when they got married in June 2015. It says Sophia will retain her earnings and property from before, during and after their marriage.

We can't blame her though ... Sophia's reportedly worth $280 million. And that number's probably gonna skyrocket once Netflix gets her "Girlboss" series up and streaming next year.

Way to stay true to your brand, Sophia.

AMBER ARRIVING

Amber Heard showed up 1 1/2 hours late for her deposition ... where she'll be in a face-off with Johnny Depp's lawyers over her divorce/domestic violence case.

Amber and her lawyer Samantha Spector showed up Saturday morning at the law offices of disso-queen Laura Wasser's firm, Wasser, Cooperman and Mandles, the firm that's repping Johnny in the divorce. Her client wasn't with her and finally, at around 11:30 AM Amber drove up to the front of the building but didn't want to be filmed so she found a more private entrance.

Our sources say both sides tried hammering out a settlement Friday night but negotiations fell apart at around 9 PM.

As TMZ reported, the depo should last all day and the lawyer doing the questioning -- Blair Berk will almost certainly be interested in Amber's domestic violence claims. Berk will pepper Amber with questions over the fact the police officers who responded to the downtown L.A. loft saw no evidence of physical injury and no damage inside the unit.

The deposition will also cover Amber's demand for money in the divorce. The marriage lasted only 15 months.

WNBA's Glory Johnson Arrest Warrant Issued Blew Off Dom. Violence Program

Published | Updated

Glory Johnson is a wanted woman ... a warrant was issued for the WNBA star's arrest after officials say she did NOT complete a court ordered domestic violence program, TMZ Sports has learned.

It all stems from the violent altercation with her ex-wife, Brittney Griner, back in 2015. Both Johnson and Griner were arrested for attacking each other in their AZ home.

Part of Johnson's sentence was to complete a 6 month domestic violence program by Sept. 25th -- or else she could face up to 6 months in jail.

But according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Johnson didn't keep up her end of the bargain -- and as of May 2016, hadn't attended a single session.

Do the math ... impossible to complete a 6 month session in 4 months ... so a warrant was issued for failure to comply. Court records show the warrant is still active.

For her part, Johnson has been incredibly busy ... she gave birth to premature twins back in October and has been raising them by herself. She also divorced Griner and went back to work in the WNBA.

A rep for Johnson insisted "Glory's doing everything the court ordered her to do," ... telling us the warrant is a result of "a paperwork issue that we had assumed her attorney handled."

Amber Heard I'll Be Back for My Depo ... And Johnny Can Watch

Published | Updated

Amber Heard has been cavorting in London this week, but we're told she will absolutely be back for her deposition on Saturday ... and Johnny Depp could be watching the whole thing.

Our sources say Amber is locked and loaded for the depo, which is set for 10 AM Saturday morning. Johnny's lawyers, we're told, plan to grill her on her claim Johnny physically attacked her. We're told the depo could last 7 hours, and the range of inquiry includes statements from cops and witnesses who say she showed no signs of injury and nothing was broken in the downtown L.A. loft.

Johnny could be at the depo -- he has a right to show -- but both sides have to sign off on him being present because a restraining order is currently in place.

We're also told Johnny must sit for his deposition next week.

If the case is going to settle, this is the time. We're told settlement discussions are ongoing.

Destiny's Child Singer I Got a Divorce ... But I Want It On the DL

Published | Updated

LeToya Luckett, one of the 4 original members of Destiny's Child, just got a divorce ... and took careful steps to stop it from getting messy in public.

Luckett and ex-hubby Rob Hillman tied the knot back in January but split after just 2 months and change. The divorce was just finalized, and according to docs it all seems pretty cordial -- with such a short marriage there wasn't much community property to divvy up.

The one celebrity difference -- the clause about "Social media postings/public statements." It states neither will make public statements about each other or "provide photos, videos, recordings or other documents" to media outlets and blogs.

That's not typical divorce petition language, but the translation is clear: No leaked sex tapes here.

Sorry, pervs.

Oz, the son of late acting legend Anthony Perkins ... just filed for divorce from Sidney Perkins. According to the divorce petition ... he's asking the court to hold off on deciding spousal support.

Interestingly, he lists their separation date as TBD. That date would be the cutoff point for sharing their assets.

Oz and Sidney got married in 1999. They have two minor kiddos -- 11 and 7 -- and he's requesting joint custody.

Keshia Knight Pulliam I Want the House And My 'Cosby' Money

Published | Updated

Keshia Knight Pulliam is demanding the Atlanta home she and Ed Hartwell shared, her pre-marriage possessions and everything she made during their marriage.

In new divorce docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Keshia's asking for all assets she acquired during their marriage -- which is interesting considering most couples split assets accumulated during a marriage.

Keshia also makes a point to demand she be awarded all property and assets she had before the two married, which includes even more 'Cosby' cash.

And get this ... in Ed's divorce filing, he stated they had no kids, but Keshia makes it a point to say a child IS expected of the marriage. In other words ... Ed's the daddy.

Mary J. Blige Files For Divorce From Husband/Manager

Published | Updated

Mary J. Blige just pulled the plug on her marriage to her husband/manager ... filing for divorce to end her 12 year marriage, TMZ has learned.

Blige just filed docs seeking to end her union from Martin "Kendu" Isaacs -- who she married back in 2003. Blige lists the date of separation as "to be determined" -- unclear why.

Blige cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The couple has no children together.

There is one interesting note ... Blige is asking the judge to block Isaacs' ability to get spousal support. The document does not say if there is a prenup.

Keshia Knight Pulliam Bring On the Paternity Test ... I've Got Nothing to Hide

Published | Updated

Keshia Knight Pulliam is positive Ed Hartwell is the father of her unborn child, and she's down to prove it to him.

Keshia was completely blindsided by the ex-NFL player's divorce petition earlier this week ... according to a source close to the former 'Cosby Show' star. We're told she's secure in the fact she's been 100% faithful to her husband of just 7 months, and has no idea why he'd assume otherwise.

Also, she has no objection to taking the paternity test he's requesting.

Keshia's pissed Ed ran to court to file divorce docs. We're told she firmly believes couples should work things out because that's what her parents have done to stay together for almost 40 years.

That kind of happy ending doesn't seem to be in the cards -- we're told Ed's no longer living in their house. As one source put it, "What kind of man files for divorce from his pregnant wife?"

Johnny Depp Amber's Gonna Ruin My Credit

Published | Updated

Johnny Depp believes he can't get a fair shake in his courtroom showdown with Amber Heard until his lawyers grill her in a deposition -- and if that doesn't happen it could cost him dearly.

Depp's team was in court Tuesday for an emergency hearing to settle critical issues in the case. His side says Johnny has every right to confront Amber over her "meritless" accusations of domestic violence.

In docs, Depp says if he can't depose her he'll be behind the 8 ball in his effort to defend himself, and could lose the case. And there's this -- he's worried a loss could affect him emotionally and financially. He points out a permanent restraining order would appear on future credit checks.

Yes, even with an estimated net worth of $400 mil ... he's worried about credit.

As we reported ... Amber's depo has been delayed because they couldn't agree on a date, but the judge settled the matter. It's now scheduled for August 6 -- a Saturday.

Amber Heard to Johnny Depp Stop Stonewalling the Divorce

Published | Updated

Johnny Depp's making it damn near impossible to get the divorce settlement rolling because he's put up a bunch of roadblocks in the case ... according to Amber Heard.

In Amber's legal docs, obtained by TMZ, she accuses Johnny of refusing to hand over financial docs needed to settle the divorce case. As we've reported ... Depp's team wants her to sign a non-disclosure agreement before giving up the goods.

But in the docs, Amber says the non-disclosure agreement is ridiculous because it calls for a $100k fine each time his financial info is leaked -- not just by Amber, but even by her forensic accountant. Amber says it's an outrageous demand ... and just a ploy to thwart real progress in this case.

Of course, Johnny's team would say ... the fine won't matter if the agreement isn't violated.

The other issue -- setting a date for Amber's deposition. His side has proposed August 3 and 8, but Amber says she's scheduled to be in London working on "Justice League." She's offered to fly back on a Saturday, but she says Johnny's team isn't willing to work weekends.

Both sides are due in court Tuesday to hammer out the issues.

Keshia Knight Pulliam Husband Files for Divorce ... She's Pregnant and Pissed

Published | Updated

Keshia Knight Pulliam's pregnancy just got complicated -- her ex-NFL husband, Ed Hartwell, is divorcing her ... one week after she announced she's expecting.

Hartwell filed for the split Monday in Atlanta, and according to the docs Keshia is contesting his petition ... so we can safely assume she ain't happy.

"The Cosby Show" kid just revealed on July 18 she was pregnant, but Hartwell has some doubts he's the father. He told YBF.com -- which first reported the split -- "Right now, the only thing I want is a paternity test for the baby."

They only dated for 4 months before getting married in January of this year. Hartwell was previously married to Lisa Wu and appeared on 'Real Housewives of Atlanta.'

Bottom line -- short marriage with all the signs of a long, messy divorce. Keshia has 30 days to file her response.

Jeremy Renner's Ex-Wife He's Stiffing Me On Preschool Tuition

Published | Updated

Jeremy Renner's a deadbeat dad who refuses to pay for preschool and catch up on child support ... or so claims his ex-wife.

Sonni Pacheco says Jeremy time and again refuses to pay his half of the $1,600 monthly preschool tuition for their 3-year-old daughter, Ava. In new docs, obtained by TMZ, Sonni also says Renner's fallen behind on child support to the tune of $48,367.

As we reported ... Jeremy and Sonni struck a deal last year for Jeremy to pay $13k a month in child support as part of their divorce settlement -- and he seems to think that should be more than enough dough.

Sonni's docs include a text exchange where Jeremy says, "I'm not sure why you keep coming after more money here Sonni. I don't have the cash to give you. I'm sorry you can't figure out how to care for [Ava] with over 300k."

She's asking the court to make Renner pay for all of Ava's schooling, and all of the back child support.

'Friends' Creator Marta Kauffman Single Again ... And Loaded

Published | Updated

The co-creator of "Friends" just struck a divorce settlement, and we've learned it involves a yearly residual check that would make your eyes pop out.

Marta Kauffman and Michael Skloff have just ended their 31-year marriage. According to legal docs filed with the court, and obtained by TMZ, they're both doing well but it looks like she gets more.

The big-ticket item ... Marta gets one "Friends" residual check a year, and our sources say it's a doozy ... many millions of dollars. According to the settlement agreement, she gets to keep 75%, and as soon as she gets the check she must write one to Michael for 25% ... pronto.

BTW ... Michael gets his own residual check ... he composed the show's theme song, and gets a big fat check he gets to keep all to himself.

There are multiple houses ... and she gets 3 out of the 4, including the super-expensive one on Broad Beach in Malibu.

Marta is a prolific producer, who also created "Grace and Frankie," which is currently on the air. She also gets residuals from "Joey," "Dream On" and "Veronica's Closet." And the money from all these shows is hers and hers alone.

You gotta have Friends.
