Charlie Sheen's Wife Checks Into Rehab

Published | Updated

Brooke Mueller -- Charlie Sheen's wife -- has reportedly checked into a North Carolina drug and alcohol treatment center.

TMZ has learned Brooke and her mother flew by private jet to Elizabeth City Regional Airport in North Carolina yesterday. They landed at 5:58 PM ET. Brooke told people at the airport, "I'm not feeling very well."

The pilot told airport employees Brooke would be in North Carolina "for about a week."

As we first reported, Brooke was released from the hospital yesterday after fighting pneumonia but still had fluid in her lungs.

Sources tell TMZ the pneumonia Brooke suffered last week was a secondary situation -- her immune system had become so weakened by substance abuse that she became susceptible to infection.

'Real World' Star Really Wants Some TNA

Joey Kovar -- the muscle head from "Real World: Hollywood" and this season of "Celebrity Rehab" -- has found a new way to keep off drugs: body slams, suplexes and sleeper holds.

We spoke to Jimmy Blaze -- who runs a wrestling organization called POWW Entertainment -- and he tells TMZ Kovar has already begun his training regimen with the company ... and will start wrestling for POWW in a couple months.

Blaze says the plan is to get the reality star/recovering addict in the big leagues ... starting with a contract with TNA -- Total Nonstop Action Wrestling -- on Spike TV.

The reason for TNA in particular? We're told it's because Hulk Hogan just signed with them -- and the Hulkster is Kovar's biggest hero. Awww.

She's headed to Arizona for treatment, and a source says that was all Phil's idea. We're told he's taken Mindy under his wing as a "personal project." As for whether or not she'll be on the show, time will tell.

We contacted Phil -- so far, no answer. Mindy's peeps had no comment.

UPDATE:
A rep for the good Dr. P tells TMZ, "Dr. Phil has not treated patients one-on-one since his show went on air. Ms. McCready's situation is private and we respect her right to privacy in a difficult time."

Sharon Bags on Courtney: Off Jack!

Sharon Osbourne wants Courtney Love to stay the hell away from her -- and her son Jack! Sharon accuses Courtney of plying little Jackie with OxyContin when he was just 15.

TMZ has confirmed that Sharon did, in fact, make the shocking allegation to the Daily Mirror (UK). "I will never have time for Courtney Love. She was the first person to give my son Jack the prescription drug OxyContin," she tells the tab. "There's not a shadow of doubt in my mind about that." Osbourne didn't divulge details of Courtney's alleged drug-pushing, though in 2003, Jack was admitted to a hospital for Oxy addiction, but has been drug-free ever since.

Love's rep did not return a call seeking comment.

Lindsay in Lockdown Movie Role on Hold

Published | Updated

A source connected to Lindsay Lohan's next movie says the actress' rehab will not get in the way of her performance, but TMZ knows differently.

The production source told TMZ that arrangements had been made to shuttle Lohan back and forth from Promises in Malibu while Lindsay shoots the new Shirley MacLaine movie, "Poor Things," right down the road in Santa Monica. Lohan was scheduled to be on the set next week.

A well-connected source tells TMZ that this "absolutely is not going to happen." The first time she'll be available to work on the film will be when she's an outpatient -- probably a month from now. And, we're told, Lilo's focus is on getting better, not on the movie -- Shirley MacLaine or no Shirley MacLaine.
