With charges in the death of Michael Jackson looming over his head, Dr. Conrad Murray sought out peace in an unlikely location -- Jackson's final resting place.
Murray showed up at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Wednesday afternoon to visit the tomb of the man he may or may not have accidentally killed.
Murray was seen outside the mausoleum, but not inside.

Tiger Woods -- Plotting Return to Golf
Tiger Woods is headed back to his home in Florida sometime next week and has pinpointed his return to golf ... according to someone who works for the Woods family.
The source tells TMZ he is aiming to play in the Tavistock Cup -- an event that pits pros from the Isleworth Golf & Country Club against the pros from the nearby Lake Nona Golf & Country Club.
This year's event takes place March 22 and 23 at the Isleworth Golf & Country Club.
After the tourney, we're told Tiger will head to Georgia to get ready for a little something called ... The Masters.
We're told Tiger will be returning to his home in Windermere next week. Cleaning crews have been spotted around the outside of the home for the last few days.

Richard Heene Released from Prison ... Kinda
Balloon Dad Richard Heene has left the Larimer County Detention Center in Fort Collins, Co. -- but only so that he can check in to the Alternative Sentencing Unit (ASU), which is about 30 seconds away.
An officer at the prison tells TMZ that Heene has been transferred to the ASU, but couldn't elaborate further.
There are several different programs at the ASU in which Heene can participate in to serve out the remainder of his sentence -- including work release (he would leave for work but check back in at night), workenders (inmates report on Saturday and Sunday and are taken out on supervised crews to perform Community Service work) or even electronic home monitoring.
Heene was sentenced to 90 days behind bars following that whole balloon episode we'd all rather forget.
UPDATE -- After Heene was transferred to the ASU, his loving wife Mayumi showed up to pay him a visit. Mayumi has 20 days to serve in jail for her role in the fiasco. She'll serve her time after Richard serves his.

Jon Gosselin Too Broke to Fight TLC
Jon Gosselin doesn't have enough dough to fight TLC over the breach of contract lawsuit the network filed against him ... sources close to the case tell TMZ.
Our sources say Jon is now looking for a way to settle the suit due to his lack of funds to fight it -- especially after TLC won an injunction prohibiting Jon from violating the non-compete clause in his contract ... which means he can't make money by appearing on other shows.
We're told the only way the network will agree to settle is if Gosselin agrees to abide by the terms of his contract -- no exceptions.
We've yet to hear back from Jon's people.
Tito's Agent -- MJ Tribute Failure Not His Fault
Tito Jackson's hands are clean when it comes to last year's failed Michael Jackson/Motown celebration concert ... this according to Tito's agent.
Tito's agent, Peter Seitz, is responding to allegations made by the concert's promoter, Roy Isaac, who told us the show went belly up in part because Tito refused to do press for the show ... and then made off with a $7,500 deposit check.
Peter tells TMZ Tito did in fact do press for the failed show -- and believes the real reason why ticket sales sucked was because Isaac "never completed booking the show."
As for the $7,500 check -- Peter says he never gave it to Tito in the first place. Peter says he's holding on to the check and personally told Isaac he'll never see it again if he doesn't figure out a way to either reschedule the concert, or reimburse Tito for the money he wasted on airfare and other expenses.
Peter says Isaac should "apologize and retract the story."

Joe Francis Loses Legal Round to Jayde Nicole
The Joe Francis/Jayde Nicole club fight fiasco is one step closer to being a distant memory -- a judge tossed out part of Joe's lawsuit against Jayde.
The alleged altercation took place back in August. Authorities decided not to press charges, but Joe and Jayde sued each other for assault and battery.
Joe's lawsuit also alleged slander and libel -- since Jayde told our cameraguy Joe punched and kicked her.
A judge on Friday tossed out the defamation claims -- saying Joe failed to prove Jayde made her statements knowing they were false.
Though the other side -- you generally know when you get smacked.

D.A. Won't Back Down in Charlie Sheen Case
Lawyers for Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller met with the prosecutor Friday, but they could not persuade the D.A. to back off the case ... sources tell TMZ.
TMZ broke the story that Charlie will be charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault when he is arraigned in Aspen on Monday for the Xmas Day brouhaha.
We're told the D.A. was intractable and the charges will be filed on Monday before Sheen appears in court.
But there may be a big problem in prosecuting the case -- as in one Brooke Mueller. Our sources say she wants this case to disappear in the worst way ... never a great sole witness on the prosecution side.
As for plea bargaining the case -- our sources say it's possible, if the plea is for a petty misdemeanor, but otherwise he'll fight it out in court.

'American Chopper' -- It's Over!
"American Chopper" is ending its run on TLC and the crazy Teutul family will ride their bikes off into the sunset.
This Thursday's episode will be the series finale of the show. A rep for TLC tells us, "The Teutuls will always be a part of the Discovery family and we congratulate them on a tremendously successful series run."
The move is not entirely unexpected -- as we reported in December, Paul Teutul, Sr. is suing his son Paul over the family business, Orange County Choppers.
The last episode airs February 11 at 9:00 PM.
'Deadliest Catch' Captain -- No More Tubes
Captain Phil Harris, the badass star of "Deadliest Catch," is making serious progress in his recovery from last week's stroke -- dude is finally breathing on his own.
According to a source close to the family, doctors are "extremely impressed" with Harris' progress.
Harris had been using breathing tubes to help circulate oxygen through his body since he went down while unloading crabs from the F/V Cornelia Marie -- but we're told as of Friday, the tubes have all been removed.
We're told Harris is also regaining feeling in the left side of his body -- which had gone numb after the stroke. His motor skills are also returning to normal. Perhaps the best sign -- Harris has been talking a lot lately ... even dropping a few of his trademark cuss bombs here and there.
We're told Harris and his family have been continuously charting a recovery course with doctors and he hopes to get home ASAP.

Bill Murray -- The Check's in the Mail
Bill Murray took a chauffeur on one helluva ride at the Sundance Film Festival last month when he didn't have enough cash to pay his fare -- but this story has a happy ending ... it just took a few days to develop.
It all went down on January 23rd, when Murray racked up a $200 tab for several hours of car service. When the driver tried to collect -- Murray handed over a credit card ... unfortunately, the driver only took cash.
Murray pulled out his wallet and forked over what he had -- $73 bucks -- and promised to send the rest in the mail ... hold your breath, right!?
But according to the driver, Bill delivered -- 'cause the producers of Murray's new movie sent a check to the guy for the remainder of the fare ... plus a $23 tip!
The end.

Conrad Murray Will Voluntarily Surrender
Dr. Conrad Murray will walk into court on his own free will Monday and face the judge after being charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
Our sources say counsel for Murray spoke by phone with members of the L.A. County District Attorney's Office this morning and the D.A. agreed Dr. Murray could surrender without being arrested.
Unless the LAPD intervenes on its own and hooks Dr. Murray up, we're told he'll show up in court with a bail bondsman on Monday. We're also told the recommended bail will be $25,000, which will be posted on the spot.
Sources also tell TMZ the arraignment will take place at 1:30 PM on Monday.
The judge will order Dr. Murray to go to an LAPD station for booking. It's unclear how long Murray will have to appear at the station.

Jackson's Dad Wants to Sue Over Death Photos
Joe Jackson has just filed legal docs asking a court to acknowledge Michael Jackson's family has a right to sue news outlets that published photos of Michael Jackson dead.
Joe Jackson's lawyer, Brian Oxman, filed papers with the court in the Michael Jackson estate case, claiming there is legal precedent for a family suing for invasion of privacy when such photos are published.
Although the legal docs don't state which photos he intends to sue over, "Entertainment Tonight" aired a photo of Jackson -- whom paramedics believed was already dead -- as he was taken into an ambulance from his home.
Oxman is trying to get the estate court judge to allow him access to medical records as a prelude for filing such a case.
Car Thieves Caught on Tape in Sheen Case
The eye in the sky may be the key to the mysterious Bentley at the bottom of a ravine near where Charlie Sheen's car was found -- the Bentley owners claim they have surveillance tape of the car being stolen.
TMZ just contacted the owners of the Bentley -- one of whom, we're told, is slated to be on the upcoming "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
Lisa Vanderpump -- who appeared on "Silk Stalkings" and "Baywatch Nights" -- is married to Kenneth Todd. They live near Charlie Sheen's house in a gated community. The keys were not in the car, Lisa says. The car was parked in the driveway. Lisa tells us they have surveillance footage of the crime.
Lisa and Ken own the fancy Beverly Hills restaurant, Villa Blanca.
UPDATE: Law enforcement sources tell TMZ police are investigating to see if the Charlie Sheen and Todd incidents are connected. They have looked at the surveillance video from Charlie's house and there is a shot of the thieves leaving the scene, though it is hard to ID them.
We do not know how much the Todd surveillance video reveals.
UPDATE: We just spoke with Lisa again, who said, "They can have the frickin' car, but can I have my dry cleaning in the trunk, please?" Rich people's problems ....
Will & Jada Sue Don't Blame Us for Bad Movie
Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith claim they're not to blame for a movie that made absolutely no money -- even though Jada wrote the script.
It's all over a movie you'll probably never see called "Human Contract" -- which Jada wrote in 2007.
In legal papers filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, the couple claims the guy who financed the movie is threatening to sue them because he believes Will and Jada "guaranteed" a return on an investment to get him on board. Will and Jada claim they "made no such representations."
Long story short -- the movie went straight-to-DVD and Will and Jada admit, "it is unlikely that it will ever make a profit."
Crashed Bentley Found Near Charlie Sheen Car
A Bentley has just been found close to the place where Charlie Sheen's car went over a cliff.
It appears -- like Sheen's car -- the Bentley went over the cliff on Mulholland Drive. It's close to Charlie's house, where his car was stolen early this AM.
We're told the L.A. City Fire Department is now on scene, to determine if anyone is in the Bentley.
We do not know if the two incidents are connected.
We're told the Bentley was discovered by a photographer who was shooting Charlie's car.
Story developing...
