Sophie Turner's sending the message that she can do both -- have a fun night with Taylor Swift AND get in some QT with her kids -- all amid her heated custody battle with Joe Jonas.

The "Game of Thrones" star was out with her kids Friday in Manhattan ... pushing 3-year-old Willa and her 1-year-old little sis in a stroller.

Sophie's low-key outing comes the day after her second dose of girls' night with Taylor ... remember, the ladies headed into NYC's Hotel Barriére Fouquet Thursday night.

Of course, the backdrop to them hanging out is that Taylor briefly dated Joe back in 2008.

The women were like 2 peas in a pod Tuesday, hitting up Via Carota to grab some dinner together -- of course, all while Sophie and Joe's divorce really heats up.

As we reported, Sophie filed a lawsuit Thursday against Joe, claiming he's unlawfully keeping their daughters in the U.S. instead of letting them go back to England with her ... citing a child abduction law.

Joe's denied any wrongdoing, and says Sophie's actually the one violating a court order in Florida -- where he filed his divorce docs -- blocking both parents from relocating their kids.

We also got pics of Sophie and Joe grabbing lunch Monday in Manhattan. We were told there were no signs of drama that day ... which, of course, changed with her lawsuit.

Sophie Turner is fighting hard to get her kids out of the United States and over to Europe ... but that's not stopping her from enjoying some QT with her kiddo stateside in the meantime.

Sophie was spotted out with the estranged couple's daughter, 3-year-old Willa, Thursday while running some errands in NYC. Both mom and tot had big smiles on their faces as they walked hand and hand with another female friend tagging along.

No signs of Joe, but that's not at all surprising given the drama that unfolded between the two earlier in the day.

Sophie sued Joe, claiming they had an agreement to raise their two daughters in the UK, where they believed they'd live a safer and healthier life. Sophie claims Joe's hidden the kids' passports, preventing her from taking them outside the U.S.

As for Joe's part, he sent us a lengthy statement explaining a Florida judge ruled neither parent is allowed to relocate their children outside of the United States while divorce proceedings continue.

She was also spotted at The St. Regis Hotel in New York on Thursday, hours after suing her estranged husband ... so they're still not that far from each other.

As we reported, Sophie claims Joe is illegally keeping their 2 kids in New York and wants them brought back to England, as laid out in an explosive lawsuit she filed Thursday morning.

Sophie says she agreed -- "with some hesitation" -- to let the kids stay with him while he was touring in the U.S. because she was working on her time-consuming series overseas, but that agreement was supposed to last until September ... when she would "collect the children and return home to England."

She even cited an international treaty that deals with child abduction across country lines ... so she's keeping pretty serious about getting her kids back to her.

In response, Joe's rep issued a lengthy statement ... saying Sophie's wishes would violate an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children," also reiterating that he's open to sharing custody with her if she moves to England full-time.

Sources told us the decision to end things also had a lot to do with the couple's different lifestyles, as Sophie recently liked to go out, and Joe was more of a homebody.

That dynamic was a big difference from the months after Sophie gave birth to the couple's second child ... when we're told she's the one who wanted to stay home and would get uncomfortable while attending events.

We were told Joe complained about Sophie being MIA from a specific event at one point, feeling she needed to get out more -- a sign to some that their relationship was on the rocks.

What's interesting ... as we reported, over the last 6 months it seemed the tables had turned for Joe ... he was complaining she was too into partying.

Sources connected to Joe acknowledge "challenges in the relationship," but say Joe was supportive of Sophie getting the London acting gig.

As we reported, Joe filed for divorce Tuesday ... and the trigger for him was allegedly Ring camera audio/video of Sophie doing or saying something.

We reached out to Sophie's team but didn't hear back. Joe's rep declined to comment.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Joe and Sophie have a prenup -- something Joe also addresses in his divorce docs, obtained by TMZ. There's more in here as it pertains to their kids -- including the fact that Joe wants a judge to establish a parenting plan between him and Sophie that allows for "frequent and continuing contact with both parties."

Another interesting tidbit in his petition ... Joe confirms what we've known since this weekend -- namely, that the two children have been residing with him of late. Here in the docs, though, he makes sure to note where ... Miami, as well as "other locations throughout the United States." In other words, he's been taking them with him on the road as he's toured.

The issue of child support is also addressed in Joe's docs ... he says both parents can pay to support their children and that they should both be required to do so. With that said, JJ wants a Florida court to establish what's fair ... and to take health insurance for the kids into consideration in determining that.

TMZ broke the story ... the couple has been having problems for around 6 months. Joe has been shopping for divorce lawyers for at least a week. He filed in Florida. He's repped by Tom Sasser, who handled Tiger Woods' divorce.

As for why Joe filed for divorce ... a source with direct knowledge tells us this ... "She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles."

As we reported, Joe has been taking care of the children pretty much all of the time over the last 3 months. When it comes time to hash out a custody arrangement, he could ask for significantly more than 50% physical custody, and our sources say that's likely.

Joe and Sophie started dating in 2016, got engaged the following year and tied the knot in a Vegas ceremony in 2019.

It's the first marriage for both 34-year-old Joe and 27-year-old Sophie.

We're told over the last 3 months, Joe has been caring for their 2 young children "pretty much all of the time," even as his band was touring. We're told Joe currently has both kids, as the group plays around the U.S.

On the surface, it seems there's been no outward signs of trouble. Joe and Sophie have attended events together. However, in recent weeks ... Joe has been seen not wearing his ring.

And they recently sold their Miami mansion. They bought that place just a year ago ... and sold it fairly quickly, for a decent profit.

Joe and Sophie first linked up in 2016 ... and got engaged a year later. In 2019, they were married -- Vegas-style -- and have been living the family life ever since ... quickly welcoming their first kid in 2020 ... and another in 2022. A lot has happened for them in 4 years.

Professionally, Joe and Sophie have been busy -- mostly JJ, though. He's gone on tour with his brothers recently and is scheduled to perform through the winter. Sophie's done some TV/movie stuff in recent years -- but isn't nearly as active as she was during her 'GoT' days.

BTW, they're both still young ... Joe's just 34, and Sophie's only 27.

Joe Jonas put on two great performances Friday night in NYC -- one for his Broadway show and the other to help out a fallen fan.

The pop star and his brothers, Nick and Kevin, had just finished their sold-out concert at the Marquis Theater when the drama involving the fan took center stage outside the venue.

Check out the video, obtained by TMZ, showing Joe stopping to sign autographs among his legions of followers who were packed together like sardines.

In all the chaos, one woman tumbled to the ground and, as you can hear, her girlfriend reacted with panic and anger.

But, Joe kept his cool and helped the woman to her feet with the assistance of a Good Samaritan. He then posed for a photo with the woman before crossing the street with his wife, Sophie Turner, to grab a bite to eat at Bond 45.

The couple was joined by Kevin and Nick and their wives, Danielle Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, respectively.

NJ says he's sending love and light to all, and adds ... "my beautiful wife has introduced me to so many wonderful Indian holidays and traditions. My heart is so full to be able to share this with our friends and family."

Earlier in the day, Nick and Priyanka rang in Diwali morning with the ceremonial puja ... a ritual offering flowers to an image of a god.

As you can see, Nick and Priyanka were dressed in traditional Indian garb, and they look great.

Priyanka says of the ritual ... "With the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi we invite Her grace and abundance into our home."
