Tom Brady's gonna have to earn his millions in week 4 of NFL action as the New England Patriots face a tough road opponent in the Atlanta Falcons.

The Pats won 2 games by the skin of their teeth this season. Harv can relate ... he's 2-1. So, let's find out who our pigskin soothsayer is riding this week ...

Charles: New England at Atlanta, who ya got?
Harvey: I'm going with New England ... because the one thing Tom Brady, and especially Gisele, don't like is ugly. And Brady has had ugly wins pretty much all season.

Charles: Except for that Bucs game, but that's the Bucs. Why not pick Atlanta at home?
Harvey: I like the Falcons good enough. In fact, one of their star players used to live with this news chick I know in L.A. -- but it just comes back to Brady being a winner.

Charles: I hate to say it, but Tom Brady is getting kinda old, and Matt Ryan's the young gun.
Harvey: In a weird way, Brady has to be especially charged because Ryan is gunning to be the next Tom -- maybe a little too much.

Charles: You keep saying you think Brady's got retirement on his mind, but --
Harvey: Look, everybody thinks I'm crazy to say it, but if you saw Brady's house in L.A. ... let's just say it beats a brownstone. So, I think he wants to go out with a bang, and we're not just talking Gisele.

Sometimes it doesn't pay to party ... 6 youngins were arrested Thursday for causing 10s of thousands of dollars in damage after breaking into the house of former New England Patriots' star Brian Holloway ... and now TMZ has learned more than 200 others could be arrested as well.

As we previously reported ... Holloway claims hundreds of teens broke into his house near Albany and trashed it over Labor Day weekend.

The 6 kids -- ranging in age from 17 - 20 -- were taken into custody and arraigned on various charges, including criminal trespass. The 19-year-old was charged with felony burglary and felony criminal mischief. And 3 of the adult kids were charged with endangering the welfare of a child. The 17-year-old was charged with felony grand larceny.

Only a handful of parents even bothered to call Holloway after the incident to apologize or offer help in repairing the damage.

Holloway posted hundreds of names of the partygoers on his website. Now the cops are telling TMZ, "We currently have over 200 names ... Once we've established proof of their presence at the party, they will be asked to turn themselves in."

And here's how crazy that could be ... the courts can't handle that kind of volume, so cops say they will be arraigned in groups of 10 to 12.

The plot thickens in the story of ex-New England Patriots player Brian Holloway ... who went ballistic after his New York home was trashed by a horde of rowdy, drunken teen vandals. Turns out the house was already in disrepair and in FORECLOSURE, and his neighbors smell a rat.

TMZ has learned ... Holloway owes a whopping $1,006,348.80 on the house ... it appears he was delinquent on paying his mortgage and the bank then demanded payment of the entire balance.

Brian hasn't lived in the home for a long time -- he's in Florida -- and neighbors tell us they thought the house was abandoned. In fact, before the blow-out bash, neighbors say kids staged a number of parties in the house -- which has no furniture.

Neighbors think the kids who Brian is now attacking are getting a bad rap. They say there was already plenty of damage to the home before the party in question -- broken doors and damaged floors. And ... there was plenty of preexisting graffiti covering the walls.

Some neighbors are suspicious of Brian's motive in requesting financial help to pay for repairs on his PayPal account. They think he's trying to create sympathy so money floods in and he can save his house.

As for Brian ... he tells TMZ there was some preexisting damage, but the 300 hooligans really trashed his crib. He also says he's been trying to renegotiate with the bank for 2 years.

A former star player for the New England Patriots has been threatened with a lawsuit by delusional parents who claim he's ruined the lives of their kids by exposing a drug/alcohol fueled party at his home.

Brian Holloway tells TMZ, "I blew way past furious" when he discovered several hundred teenagers broke into his vacation home outside Albany, NY over Labor Day weekend.

The kids started tweeting and Instagramming madly inside, posting photos of what looked like a scene out of "Animal House."

Holloway went ballistic, created a website -- helpmesave300 -- and started posting pictures of the damage, as well as the tweets from some of the partygoers -- and those tweets ID'd the kids.

Holloway tells TMZ ... he's been told by the Sheriff's Dept. some of the parents are furious because their poor kids have now been exposed. Some bitch that it will hurt their chances of getting into college. Others whine their poor kiddies are being harassed at school. And they actually have the audacity to threaten a lawsuit.

Holloway says there was plenty of evidence of drugs at the party, including crack and meth. And, of course, a river of alcohol.

He says it's gonna cost $20 - $40k to repair the damage.

Aaron Hernandez wasn't watching when Tom Brady and his former Patriots teammates mounted a comeback against the Buffalo Bills this past weekend ... 'cause he's NOT allowed to watch football on TV during his stint behind bars, TMZ has learned.

Sheriff Hodgson of the Bristol County Jail tells us, "While Mr. Hernandez and many other inmates would like to watch football, it is just not part of our policy here ... so that will not be happening. “

Hernandez does have an hour of free time per day ... so, in theory, someone could call him on the phone and play the TV really loud so he can follow along with the action -- but what's the fun in that?

Craig James -- a star at SMU and a former member of the New England Patriots in the '80s -- ran for a senate seat in Texas. During a 2012 debate, he had some choice words: Gay people "would answer to the Lord for their actions," and being gay was a choice.

James was hired last month by Fox Sports Southwest and then reportedly fired after just one appearance. According to the Dallas Morning News, an unnamed Fox Sports honcho said, "We just asked ourselves how Craig's statements would play in our human resources department."

Apparently Fox didn't fully vet the dude. The question -- should he be sacked for statements he made before coming on board?

Tebowing has a brand new meaning -- unemployed NFL star -- 'cause Tim Tebow has been dropped by the New England Patriots.

Tebow -- who signed a 2-year contract with the Patriots back in June -- was cut from the roster Saturday morning ... after failing to impress head coach Bill Belichick, according to ESPN.

The news comes just a little over 4 months after Tebow was fired from the New York Jets.

Since Tebow has been in the NFL less than 4 years, he could become a free agent and sign with another team ... begging the question, will another team even want him?

So we gotta ask...

Here's Tom Brady casually paddling away in a kayak over the weekend ... and GIVING ALL OF BOSTON A FRIGGIN' HEART ATTACK!!!

Before you accuse us of sensationalizing the situation, consider this fact -- back in 2009, Brady had to be RESCUED from the Charles River after falling out of his Kayak while goofing around with some friends.

After the rescue, Brady thanked the woman who fished him out of the water ... telling her, "You saved my life."

Despite the risks -- and with NFL opening day less than 2 weeks away -- Brady got back into the Charles River with his wife Gisele and son Ben on Saturday.

Fortunately, everyone emerged from the water healthy and happy.

11:03 AM PT -- The prosecutor just announced the indictment returned against Hernandez on multiple charges, including murder, carrying a firearm, possession of a firearm, possession of a high-capacity firearm or feeding device, and 2 counts of possession of ammunition.

As he sat down, Hernandez mouthed the words "I love you" to family members in court.

Another hearing has been set for next Friday.

NFL star Aaron Hernandez has just been indicted on a 1st degree murder charge in the death of 27-year-old semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd -- and he's due in court any moment to face his stark new reality.

Hernandez was originally expected in court today for a probable cause hearing -- where prosecutors would have presented evidence that a) a crime was committed, and b) that Hernandez committed the crime.

But a grand jury has already returned an indictment, meaning prosecutors won't have to present additional evidence to justify a trial.

Translation: the probable cause hearing is now pretty much a formality ... but we may still hear from Hernandez' lawyer.

Another HUGE blow for the New England Patriots (and female football fans worldwide) -- 'cause Tom Brady suffered a brutal knee injury during a team scrimmage today ... and it looks bad. Real bad.

Brady -- who was wearing a red "keep your damn hands off me" jersey at the time -- had dropped back to pass when the pocket collapsed on him.... and it appears a lineman fell on his knee.

Brady dropped like a sack of potatoes ... clutching his left knee -- the same knee he destroyed on opening day back in 2008.

Brady was eventually helped off the field and is currently undergoing evaluation.

Scheer says the next guy he wants to bring on board is Aaron Hernandez -- but not to act -- he's got a job in mind that requires AH's unique alleged skill set.

Aaron Hernandez is jonesin' for the Internet ... according to a new letter he wrote to a fan.

TMZ has obtained a second letter Hernandez recently wrote behind bars, thanking a fan for a Facebook support page she started ... a page he can't read because jail is an Internet-free zone.

He wrote, "Thanks for the site and sry [sic] I can't check site [sic] there is no internet in jail lol."

Correct ... Hernandez wrote out the word "lol" in pen.

Also, FYI, Hernandez is now aware that his jail letters are making headlines. We spoke to the sheriff at the jail who tells us, Hernandez has been warned to be careful with his letters because TMZ keeps publishing them.

Aaron Hernandez wrote a pen pal a letter from inside his jail cell, declaring his innocence, saying his murder charges are God's plan, and vowing to return to the NFL ... and TMZ has a copy.

Karl also says he would like to visit Aaron in jail -- if Aaron will let him.

FYI, Hernandez -- who's been accused of murdering semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd -- has been denied bail and will remain behind bars until his trial.

11:37 AM PT -- Aaron's attorney is objecting to the additional release of information regarding the case to the media, saying it's having a negative impact on Aaron's right to a fair trial. The judge wasn't convinced.

11:30 AM PT -- During the beginning of the hearing, Aaron looked at his family in court and mouthed the words "I love you." The parents of Aaron's alleged victim Odin Lloyd were also present in court. It got emotional.

11:11 AM PT -- Prosecutors have requested a continuance, asking for more time to present evidence to a grand jury. Aaron's lawyer objected, asking for the case to be dismissed because prosecutors were dragging their feet, but the judge sided with the prosecution. Aaron is due back in court for another probable cause hearing on August 22.

11:05 AM PT -- Aaron is in the courtroom, but he's not wearing a jumpsuit this time ... he's in a normal suit. No tie though!

NFL star and murder suspect Aaron Hernandez is due back in court today ... the first step before he faces a grand jury on charges he murdered 27-year-old semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.

It's called a probable cause hearing, which is where prosecutors are supposed to establish two things: 1) that a crime has been committed, and 2) that Hernandez committed the crime.

The probable cause hearing is meant to give prosecutors a chance to show that there's enough evidence to bring the case before a grand jury for a formal indictment, at which point a pretrial date will be set.

As we reported, Hernandez has been denied bail and will remain behind bars until he's acquitted ... or the case is dismissed.

It's possible prosecutors will file for a continuance today -- meaning they won't have to present all their evidence in court ... and they'll go straight to the grand jury stage. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 11AM PST/2PM EST.

Ex-New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez CONFESSED that he fired the shots that killed Odin Lloyd ... this according to a police document that cites a witness ... who cites another witness.

OK, so it's a confession that's 3 degrees removed from Aaron Hernandez ... but cops in Miramar, Florida believed the tip was good enough to bring to a judge in an effort to get a search warrant connected with the investigation.

First, some background -- prosecutors in the murder case believe Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace were with Hernandez when Lloyd was murdered. Both Ortiz and Wallace are currently in custody.

Now, according to documents filed by the Miramar Police Dept., Ortiz told investigators ... that Wallace, told him ... that Hernandez told him that he shot Lloyd.

You follow that?

It's double hearsay, to say the least ... but with life sentences on the line, it might not be the last time these guys (allegedly) point the finger at each other.

For his part, Hernandez insists he's not guilty.
