Archbishop Don Magic Juan made it through surgery to remove a blood clot in his leg last week, but now faces a new emergency -- NO MORE MEATLOAF!!

We caught up with Snoop Dogg's spiritual advisor as he was leaving an L.A. hospital -- and the self proclaimed "Cholesterol King" said he's grateful for his health ... but adds, kicking his meatloaf and butter habit is going to be a bitch.

Leo O'Brien -- the actor who played Bruce Leroy's little brother Richie in 1985's "The Last Dragon" -- was rushed to a hospital yesterday after being shot TWICE in broad daylight ... TMZ has learned.

It all went down in Harlem, NY when a gunman opened fire on the 40-year-old actor at 11:50 AM -- striking O'Brien once in the stomach and once in the left arm.

Witnesses called 911 -- and after O'Brien was transported to a nearby hospital, cops arrested a 50-year-old male suspected of pulling the trigger.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the suspect was booked for attempted murder and criminal possession of a firearm.

TMZ spoke with O'Brien who tells us he recognized the shooter -- but he has NO IDEA why the man would open fire on him.

O'Brien adds, "In life, sometimes sh*t happens ... but I'm alright and doing better."

Prince Frederic von Anhalt is being rushed to a hospital right now ... after a car smashed into him while crossing a street in Beverly Hills.

A rep for the Prince tells TMZ ... Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband was walking near the busy intersection of Camden Drive and Brighton Way (below) ... when the car hit him.

It's unclear if Prince was in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.

The rep believes Anhalt may have a broken leg.

Archbishop Don Magic Juan -- keeper of all things pimp and Snoop Dogg's main man -- is recovering from emergency surgery for a blood clot ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the Bishop tell us he was rushed to an LA area hospital on Tuesday -- and doctors eventually found a blood clot in his leg.

We're told the clot was successfully removed during surgery on Wednesday.

Don had to pull out of a gig this Saturday with rapper Ditch -- but we're told he's on the mend and already feeling much better.

The man who was Ed Helms' stunt double in "The Hangover 2" is suing Warner Bros -- claiming he was badly injured during a high speed stunt-gone-wrong for the movie last year in Bangkok, Thailand.

The stunt man -- Scott McLean -- filed a lawsuit in California federal court on Tuesday ... claiming he was participating in a stunt where he had to lean out of the window of a moving truck ... when something went terribly wrong.

According to McLean, another car involved in the stunt skidded out and crashed -- resulting in a major collision.

McLean claims the stunt required "precision and timing" -- but after the stunt was underway, the stunt coordinator changed the timing ... which screwed up everything.

McLean's reps told The Hollywood Reporter he suffered, "likely permanent brain and physical injuries," including ongoing seizures, speech impediments, physical impediments, and brain trauma.

McLean is suing for unspecified damages.

9:01 AM: A rep for Warner Bros. tells TMZ, "We were shocked and saddened by this accident and have been working closely with Scott and his family throughout his treatment and recovery."

TMZ has obtained video of the massive collision that took place on the set of "Fear Factor" recently -- sending one contestant to the hospital -- but it could have been a lot worse ... if the ambulance hadn't arrived in record time.

As we previously reported, one of the contestants on the show was strapped to a truck for some stunt -- but something got in the driver's eyes ... and he plowed into another car.

Thankfully the guy was going less than 20mph at the time -- and the ambulance arrived LESS THAN A MINUTE after the accident.

Troubled wrestling star Matt Hardy was rushed to an emergency room in North Carolina this morning after falling down in his home ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Matt tell us ... the ex-TNA star hadn't been feeling well ... but it's unclear as to what caused Matt to fall down.

So far, the extent of his injuries are unknown -- but a family member tells us Hardy is expected to be released from the hospital tomorrow.

Christina Aguilera is firing back at rumors she's somehow responsible for a giant bruise on her son's face -- telling friends little Max simply had himself a little fall at the park ... chasing squirrels.

The photo was taken yesterday afternoon at LAX -- with rumors circulating that Christina's "erratic behavior and alleged booze-filled outings" somehow contributed to Max's accident.

But sources tells us, that's total nonsense -- 3-year-old Max was out with his nanny last week, chasing around squirrels ... and the kid tripped over a rock and bruised his face.

According to our sources, Max was taken to the doctor immediately and everything was fine. No broken nose, no stitches. Just your average boyhood bruise.

As one source put it, "Christina is a great mom ... Max is her #1 priority."

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan took a nasty fall last night at an event in California -- but thankfully, a nearby Senator caught her mid-fall ... INCHES before the 90-year-old would have slammed to the ground.

Nancy was being escorted to her seat at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA when she took the plunge, but the man escorting her -- Senator Marco Rubio (R-Florida) -- caught her just in time.

Lil Wayne shouldn't feel too bad about his skate park accident the other day ... because even the greatest boarder of all time isn't immune to a crash every now and then.

The legendary Tony Hawk smashed his face in during a doubles session at the Kona Skate Park in Jacksonville, Florida yesterday ... leaving the 43-year-old with a very snaggled front tooth.

After the fall, Hawk -- who's now headed to Georgia -- tweeted, "Oops, doubles with Staab went wrong at Kona. Anyone know a good dentist in Savannah?

TMZ has obtained the 911 call made by Oksana Grigorieva -- moments after her teenage son put his hand through a stained glass window in July, slashing his arm wide open.

Oksana screams frantically into the phone, "A huge chunk of meat is missing out of his arm!" 14-year-old Sasha faints in the middle of the phone call.

A "Fear Factor" stuntman is lucky to be alive -- after a safety mechanism FAILED during a jump from 6-stories high last week and he hit the ground FEET FIRST ... breaking both of his ankles.

Fortunately, the stuntman was attached to a back-up safety mechanism that helped slow down the fall ... but sources tell us people were "very concerned" when the stuntman hit the ground.

We're told the stuntman was testing out a new challenge that will be featured on an upcoming episode of the show.

According to our sources, medics were on standby and quickly transported the stuntman to a hospital to treat his injuries.

"Fear Factor" producers tell us, "Safety is our first priority, and because of that we test these stunts repeatedly with trained stuntmen to ensure our contestants' well-being." They added that this particular stunt was part of their standard safety process, and wished the stuntman "a very speedy recovery."

This is the second accident on the set this month -- as TMZ first reported, a contestant was taken to the hospital (but suffered no major injuries) after the truck she was standing on slammed into a stunt car.

Mogul Richard Branson had his home on a private island in the Caribbean burn to the ground this morning, and his 90-year-old mother might have died in the blaze ... if not for the help of Kate Winslet.

Branson recanted the harrowing tale on his blog this morning, saying that 20 people were inside the home at the time of the fire ... but they all managed to get out fine. He said the main house -- on Necker Island -- was completely destroyed.

Branson cited a tropical storm as the cause, saying a lightning storm hit the house around 4:00 AM.

As for the dramatic rescue of his elderly mother, Branson wrote, "... many thanks to Kate Winslet for helping to carry my 90 year mum out of the main house to safety wondering when a Director was going to shout CUT!"

Lil Wayne needed 9 stitches to close a bloody wound over his left eye last night ... after crashing HARD at a skateboard park in St. Louis.

Weezy was treated at a local hospital -- and one witness told a local TV station the rapper was accompanied by several members of his entourage. According to the hospital, Wayne was treated and released.

Wayne seems to be doing OK -- because he was already tweeting about the crash this morning ... calling the injury a "gnarly gash."

Barry Bonds flashed photogs the "thumbs up" sign today in Marina Del Rey after his morning bicycle ride ... but judging from the cuts on hand and arm, he's a little less than 100%.

Gavin DeGraw was spotted out in NYC for the first time since suffering a vicious beating 2 weeks ago -- and the good news is ... the singer's looking good for a return to his concert schedule.

Gavin was asked about his recovery from the attack at the hands of three unknown assailants -- and said, "Gettin' there, man."
