John Mayer is now 40 and supremely confident in his wardrobe choices ... and he flaunted it as he stepped off a plane in Rio.

John arrived in Brazil Monday -- the day he hit the big 4-0 -- to do 5 concert dates. Fans greeting him in the airport got some serious eye candy courtesy of John's floral patterned pajamas or scrubs (we really can't tell) ... and his bright red sandals.

Before you start thinking Mayer's giving up in his 40's ... we should tell you those sandals are Visvim Christos, and they go for about $600!

Tommy Lee may be aging, but he ain't shrinking -- in fact, his much younger gf wants you to know he's still living very large.

Brittany Furlan and the Motley Crue drummer are vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, and she shared a video of the gorgeous scenery. The most breathtaking view -- to Brittany -- is in Tommy's shorts.

Kenya Moore's husband is still MIA for the filming of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," and it's cost her a lot of moola, a trip to Spain and maybe her gig itself.

'RHOA' production sources tell us, the cast is on its annual trip for the show -- this time in Barcelona -- except for Kenya. We're told she was invited initially and in the lead up to the trip even participated in scenes where the cast was talking about it. But then ... producers yanked her invite.

Why? Our sources say Bravo told Kenya she needed to film scenes leading up to the trip with hubby Marc Daly, but he wasn't down. Producers felt she was just making more excuses for Marc's lack of participation, so the invite got yanked.

'Housewives' get paid per episode, and now Kenya will miss out on some big paychecks.

Mike Posner's track, "I Took A Pill In Ibiza," won't be playing in the background of any Ibiza tourism commercials because he says the island's tourism board isn't a fan.

Posner told us he caught a lot of flak from the White Isle's tourism board since they thought the song promoted drug use. Ibiza has long struggled to ditch its booze and ecstasy rep and from what Posner tells us -- and sings -- doesn't look like it's going well.

Posner's not ruling out a return trip, but says he'd do things differently this time.

As we previously reported, Magic flew his fam out to the Amalfi Coast on July 31st (on a private jet) and set sail on a super-yacht called the Siren ... which runs about $700k per week.

After touring the coast of Italy and hitting some of the best restaurants and shopping districts in the world with his wife, Cookie, and BFF Sam Jackson ... the Lakers legend is finally heading home.

But not before gifting the crew that helped him with custom Lakers jerseys!
