NBC Medical Correspondent Nancy Snyderman caused a maid to get fired ... and it's all because Nancy violated her Ebola quarantine by taking a drive to a local restaurant.

Turns out the chef at The Peasant Grill near Princeton, NJ -- where Nancy went last week to grab some grub -- is the brother of Vilma (she asked us not to use her last name), who works as a maid in town.

After TMZ and other media reported Nancy's breach ... people in the town panicked. They were concerned because Nancy and her crew were all in contact with a cameraman who contracted Ebola, and one of the guys in the quarantined crew went inside the restaurant to pick up food.

We've learned 2 homeowners who had been using Vilma for years freaked out because they feared her brother might have exposed her to the virus. So the 2 homeowners told Vilma she could no longer work with them ... until further notice.

Local health officials say they investigated and there is no risk anyone who was in the restaurant would contract Ebola. But clearly not everyone believes them.

Snyderman has never accepted personal responsibility, blaming the crew for the quarantine violation, even though she was right there in her Mercedes at the restaurant...

Slipknot's plan to stink up a music festival ... BY SETTING CAMEL DUNG ON FIRE ... just went down the toilet -- fire officials have officially pulled the plug.

The metal band had plans to fill drums with camel poop and oil ... then set them ablaze during its 3-day Knotfest Music Festival later this month in San Bernardino. The band's burning desire was for the stench to "infest your brain, body and clothes for days."

Naturally, county fire officials ain't having it -- but their beef isn't with the camel feces ... it's the burning oil ... which is illegal in Cali. Also, they say the odor of flaming feces could be considered a public nuisance. Ya think?

Bottom line -- the show will go on ... sans burning poo. A rep for Knotfest says they haven't given up yet ... they're looking for a safer way to get that camel s**t scent.

Chris Brown is not a doctor -- he doesn't even play one on TV -- and he's now learned to keep his mouth shut when it comes to important medical issues like the Ebola crisis.

If you missed it ... Chris tweeted this gem to his 13.7 million followers Monday morning: "I don't know ... but I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. S**t is getting crazy bruh."

The immediate and furious backlash included ... "You're not a smart person ... at all," and "You believe this based on what evidence? Oh yeah, none" -- and "Why morons gotta be famous?"

CB conceded defeat after just 3 minutes by tweeting, "Let me shut my black ass up!" But the angry responses kept coming.

It's shocking ... NBC News has dug an even deeper hole for itself in it's self-created Ebola scandal. Brian Williams just read Dr. Nancy Snyderman's tepid, vague mea culpa in which she never takes personal responsibility for violating the quarantine after being exposed to the Ebola virus.

As TMZ reported ... Snyderman and 2 members of her crew -- all under quarantine -- made a food run to Peasant Grill near Princeton University. Sources say New Jersey health officials investigated and concluded based on witness accounts that Snyderman was in the car while a crew member got the grub.

Williams just read Snyderman's statement on "NBC Nightly News," in which she says, "While under voluntary quarantine guidelines, which called for our team to avoid public contact for 21 days, members of our group violated those guidelines and understand that our quarantine is now mandatory until 21 days have passed. We remain healthy and our temperatures are normal."

She's kidding, right? SHE violated the quarantine, yet never took personal responsibility.

We have repeatedly called and emailed NBC News for comment but they have gone radio silent, saying there were "privacy concerns."

NBC News has taken what could have been a 1 day blip and turned it into a major story.

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star Uncle Poodle was arrested Monday for allegedly vandalizing the car of his ex-boyfriend, but the love connection goes beyond just the two of them ... it's actually four people deep ... TMZ has learned.

Baldwin County Sheriff's officials tell us ... Poodle broke off a University of Georgia tag from the front of his ex's Dodge 1500 while it was parked last month in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

Now get this ... the ex was with his current boyfriend at the time of the incident. The two witnessed Poodle and his current fiancé driving away after the deed ... and Poodle's fiancé used to date Poodle's ex's new boyfriend.

Anyway ... Poodle was picked up and charged with trespassing and held on $1,000 bond. His hearing was scheduled to be held Monday afternoon -- at the time of this post, he's still in custody.

Dr. Nancy Snyderman may have gone all home remedy to prevent Ebola ... because she may have made a very secret run Thursday to a New Jersey restaurant known for its soup ... thus violating her voluntary quarantine.

The NBC doc and her news team were placed on a 21-day voluntary quarantine as a precaution because one of the cameramen they worked with tested positive for Ebola.

But Snyderman reportedly violated the quarantine by going to the Peasant Grill in Hopewell Boro, New Jersey Thursday afternoon. Several people say they saw Snyderman in her Mercedes with shades and a ponytail as a man walked inside the restaurant to pick up some grub ... this according to Planet Princeton.

We're told the owners of the restaurant did not see Snyderman there.

The risk of Ebola for Snyderman and her crew is low ... nonetheless, the New Jersey Department of Health has now issued a mandatory quarantine for the group.

Someone connected to the restaurant tells TMZ ... the Peasant Grill is one of Nancy's favorite restaurants ... so much so she sometimes uses them to cater dinner parties.

NBC News will not discuss the matter, telling TMZ there are privacy concerns. We also left messages for Snyderman and her rep ... so far no response.

NBC got back to us and said they couldn't comment "due to privacy concerns." They added their team -- including Dr. Nancy Snyderman -- was deemed "low risk" and agreed to follow guidelines. According to the Health Dept. ... someone didn't.

NBC News -- which has scared the crap out of American citizens by warning them of the dangers of Ebola and the cautions that must be taken -- did exactly the opposite.

The New Jersey Health Department just revealed the NBC crew that had agreed to a voluntary 21-day quarantine after one of its cameraman tested positive for Ebola ... VIOLATED the quarantine.

It's pretty ridiculous ... NBC seemed almost breathlessly excited in reporting that it's people became part of the story.

Now the health department has laid down the law and ORDERED medical correspondent Nancy Snyderman and the other crew members to stay put and comply with the basic safety rules.

Amanda Bynes is getting married ... according to a bunch of blogs. But we found out ... it's all news to the guy to whom she's supposedly getting hitched.

According to various reports ... Amanda's tying the knot with 19-year-old Caleb Pusey (relax, it's French) ... a guy with whom she got close while they were in rehab ... but sources close to Caleb tell us it's absolutely not true.

We're told Caleb and Amanda DID befriend each other ... but he says they never dated much less set a date. In fact ... he says he hasn't spoken with Bynes in months.

Iggy Azalea is fighting back hard against her ex boyfriend -- saying she's not gonna let the 6-month fling take her for everything she's worth .. or even half.

Jillian O'Keefe and Tommy Bynes tell TMZ through their lawyer, Tamar Arminak, "We are disturbed beyond words that Amanda would come up with such a fabrication as a way to avoid getting much needed help or treatment."

Amanda went on the warpath against her dad Friday after she learned her parents were coming to NYC to get her into a mental health facility, tweeting her dad had sexually and physically abused her ... something her dad vehemently denies.

Jillian and Tommy are right behind their father, calling their parents "the most wonderful parents who have ever lived."

2:39 P.M. PDT -- Waka's rep, Debra Antney, tells TMZ ... it was all a big mistake ... he accidentally grabbed his fiance's bag -- which contained the gun. She explains ... they're in the process of moving and all their stuff got mixed up in the move ... which is how the gun ended up in the bag.

Joking about Ebola is the newest way to get yourself in trouble at the airport, but bringing a gun through security is the classic way ... as Waka Flocka Flame learned on Friday morning.

Flame was busted at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport when a security scan turned up a loaded handgun in his bag.

Waka didn't have a permit, so he was arrested and charged with Carrying a Weapon in a Prohibited Place. He was taken to Clayton County jail.

Katy Perry is getting major support for playing the Super Bowl Halftime show -- with an Oscar winning rapper vouching for the singer and warning the NFL ... you better not charge her to play!

TMZ Sports spoke with Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul -- who told us he's thrilled for Katy ... claiming she's the perfect fit for the big game -- and hopes it skyrockets her to another level.

"If you play the Super Bowl, that's a lot of money. You're reaching a whole new fan base. It'd be great for her career."

But DJ Paul says he read the reports about the NFL considering charging halftime acts to perform on their stage -- and says in Katy's case, she deserves a pass.

"Let her do it for free! She's a hot chick. Start charging next year."

We also spoke with Sir Mix-a-Lot ... who agrees with Paul -- the NFL would be INSANE to charge Katy a single cent.

"I wish no artists would pay. Do a concert with Katy Perry, Jay Z, Beyonce on an adjacent channel. Everyone would watch that while a boring f**king marching band plays the halftime show."

Drake is under investigation for allegedly threatening an ex -- this time in Arizona -- and it sounds almost exactly like the accusations a Houston stripper made against him.

Shaye G -- an Internet model who was linked to Drake while he was with Rihanna -- says the rapper fired off some angry text messages to her last weekend because she posted photos of expensive purses he bought for her.

In one message, Shaye says Drake warned if he sees her anywhere, she's "getting run up outta there." She felt threatened enough to get her dad involved, who told Drake to back off.

Shaye reported the alleged threats to cops in AZ early this week -- and we've confirmed they are investigating, but have not spoken to Drake yet. We've reached out to his camp, but now word back yet.

It's unclear why Shaye's pics pissed off Drake, but it might be because she posted them as he was catching hell from Houston stripper Jhonni Blaze. As we previously reported ... Blaze also told police she was threatened by people in Drake's camp. Shaye says she decided to go to the cops after seeing our story.
