Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will sue News of the World for reporting the couple was splitting up.
It's pretty clear News of the World was wrong. Exhibit A: This pic of the couple making out at the Super Bowl.
The tabloid published a report January 24 that Pitt and Jolie had called it quits and agreed to custody and property division.
The London lawyers for Pitt and Jolie, Keith Schillings, called the report a "false and intrusive allegation."
Schillings said News of the World refused to retract the story.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie hit up the Super Bowl yesterday -- where they appeared tighter than a spiral from Drew Brees.
The couple -- who have been subject to a ton of breakup rumors lately -- were all over each other in a private box at the game in Miami.
In case you missed it, the Saints won.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were together at the Directors Guild Awards last night ... but they weren't photographed that way.
Instead the only person to be seen with them both was "Inglourious Basterds" director Quentin Tarantino.
Love triangle rumors begin .... now. We kid.
UPDATE: A little searching on YouTube and you find a highlight montage from the show. For one split second, you see Brad and Angelina sitting next to each other, appearing to be laughing. It's like we got pictures of Big Foot.

There have been numerous reports that the home Brad Pitt recently purchased is the smoking gun that he split from Angelina Jolie ... and that Brad intends to use the home as a new bachelor pad -- but TMZ has learned it's all BS ...
The home -- located in the Hollywood Hills -- is the newest piece of Brad's master plan to expand the sprawling compound he shares with Angelina and their 86 children.
The evidence is clear -- first off, Brad purchased the home back in August -- long before rumors of a break up began to make the rounds.
Second -- the place was a dump and Brad couldn't move in -- even if he wanted to -- because the home was far from livable at the time he bought it.
But most important -- Brad is a real estate PacMan, who's purchased several properties surrounding his home in an attempt to expand his already sprawling estate. It's kinda like expanding your kitchen -- if your kitchen had 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and a view.
Brad's newest home is contiguous with his compound -- and perfect for his ever expanding family ... a family that still includes Angelina.

Angelina Jolie and her brother James Haven have joined forces to release a video tribute to their late mother Marcheline Bertrand -- featuring home movies from 1981 ... when Angie was just 6-years-old.
The video, which shows the family messin' around during a trip to Hawaii, ends with a message that reads, "We Miss You Mom ... With Love, Angelina and James."
Wednesday marks the 3-year anniversary of Marcheline's death.
TMZ has confirmed that Angelina and James were behind the posting of the video.

Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie are not pulling the plug on their relationship, multiple people directly connected with the couple tell TMZ.
There's a report out that Brad and Angie are calling it quits. One source -- who should know -- says, "It's B.S."
BTW -- it's a guarantee the two won't be getting a divorce, because the two are not married.
It is now safe to step back from the ledge.

Brad Pitt -- who has made New Orleans his adopted home -- took his son Maddox to see the New Orleans Saints destroy the Arizona Cardinals 45-14 yesterday.

Brangelina's first three kids just got something they probably find really boring at this point -- more money.
The estate for Angie's mom -- the late actress Marcheline Bertrand -- has finally been divvied up after her death in 2007, and it spells $$$ for three bouncing Jolie-Pitts.
According to documents filed in L.A. Superior Court last week -- Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh were each left $100,000 in a shiny new trust fund, but here's the catch: they can't touch it 'til they turn 25.
Bad news for Pax and the twins though -- Grandma's will was last updated in 2006, before any of them came into the picture ... so they lose out. But we think they'll be ok.

Never one to keep it light, Angelina Jolie was spotted out with a book about a guy who, among other things survived "an eight-day armed abduction by the Taliban."

Forget the giant ball that'll drop in NYC come midnight -- last night the biggest thing on the block was Brad Pitt.
Brad, Pax and Maddox were completely swarmed by paps, fans and tourists after a trip to Dave & Buster's, where they tried to be inconspicuous ... in Times Square ... the night before New Year's Eve.
Better luck next year.
