2:15 PM PT -- The NFL Network has fired Sapp. He'd been with the network since 2008.

12:55 PM PT -- New details in the Warren Sapp arrest ...

Cops say two women told police they were at the hotel "as escorts" and went to Sapp's room, where an argument broke out over money.

The women claim the argument turned physical and spilled out into the hallway.

Cops say the women had injuries consistent with a struggle.

Officials say when cops questioned Sapp,"he was questioned and admitted involvement in the act of prostitution, but denied assaulting the females."

Both women involved in the incident received citations from police -- one for prostitution, the other for a violation of the City’s escort permit requirements. Both women were released.

12:49 PM PT -- Sapp has been SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY from the NFL Network without pay pending the outcome of the investigation ... so says NFL Network spokesman Alex Riethmiller.

12:47 PM PT -- Phoenix Police Chief Joseph Yahner says there are TWO female victims ... who both allegedly suffered minor injuries.

Yahner says the women contacted police officers to report the assault.

12:21 PM PT -- The NFL Network has removed Sapp's bio from the official "On-Air Talent" section of the website.

No word if Sapp has been fired from the Network yet ... but as one source puts it, "It's not looking good."

12:06 PM PT -- A rep for the hotel where Warren was arrested tells TMZ Sports, "we were contacted by the Phoenix Police Dept. today in a matter involving a guest."

"We are cooperating with police as they look into the situation since it is an active investigation. We have no further comment."

Warren Sapp was arrested in Phoenix this morning for soliciting a prostitute around 7AM ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Sapp was also arrested for assault. We're told Sapp was taken into custody at a hotel in Downtown Phoenix.

The 42-year-old "Dancing with the Stars" alum was booked just a few minutes ago.

Sapp was in Phoenix covering the Super Bowl for the NFL Network.

It's not Warren's first arrest -- he was busted in 2010 for domestic battery, but those charges were eventually dropped. He was also arrested for an alleged domestic battery in Miami in 2014.

As we previously reported, officials made it clear before the Super Bowl they would be cracking down on prostitution.

Suge Knight will be in jail for a while, because he's now being held with no bail ... and that's because of his criminal past.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... he is no longer being held on $2 million bail because authorities believe he's both a flight risk and more than capable of intimidating witnesses.

As for the flight risk ... it's hard to argue with that. Suge left the scene after hitting 2 people with his truck -- one fatally -- and someone who flees can easily be considered a flight risk.

As for intimidating witnesses ... the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. convinced the bail commissioner his vast criminal past is evidence enough.

Mo' problems for "Moesha" star Marcus T. Paulk -- pre Super Bowl partying in AZ landed him in jail for DUI and drug possession.

According to law enforcement sources ... Paulk got pinched early Sunday morning by Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies, and blew a .109. He also allegedly had a bag of marijuana.

Paulk was pulled over in Scottsdale for driving dangerously close to emergency vehicles involved in a routine stop. Cops say he failed a field sobriety test ... and fessed up he'd been drinking Hennessy and smoking pot earlier in the day.

It's not Paulk's first legal tangle -- the actor was arrested in 2013 for allegedly kicking and punching his ex-GF, but avoided jail time after cutting a plea deal.

Suge Knight has a defense to the fatal hit and run ... he didn't know he hit and ran.

Sources connected with Suge tell TMZ ... he claims he was in fear of his life when he gunned his truck, striking and killing Terry Carter and injuring Cle "Bone" Sloan.

Suge says he had just been beaten by 2 to 4 guys while he sat hostage in his truck. And he says, he was frail because he was shot 6 times last Summer and on top of that, almost died recently from a blood clot.

Suge says he was so discombobulated when he floored it he had no idea his truck struck anyone.

Here's the problem ... even if this gets him out of a hit and run, cops still believe he intentionally tried to run over Bone and then hit Terry by accident, and if true that would constitute felony murder.

One of the stars of "Power Rangers Samurai" has been arrested for stabbing his roommate to death with a sword ... TMZ has learned.

Ricardo Medina Jr. was busted Saturday afternoon by L.A. County Sheriff's deputies in Palmdale, CA ... after a fight broke out between himself and the roommate ... Joshua Sutter.

According to law enforcement ... Medina retreated to his bedroom with his girlfriend -- but Sutter forced his way into the bedroom ... and that's when Medina allegedly stabbed him once in the abdomen with the sword.

Medina called 911 and waited for for cops to arrive. He was arrested and booked for murder. Sutter was transported to a hospital ... where he was pronounced dead.

Medina got his break in Hollywood as the Red Ranger on "Power Rangers Wild Force" back in 2002. He went on to play Dekker on "Power Rangers Samurai."

He's still in jail, and bail has been set at one million dollars.

Suge Knight thinks surveillance video will exonerate him, while cops believe it could be the smoking gun that nails him for murder. Well both sides need a Plan B, because the surveillance footage doesn't exist.

The owner of Tam's -- the Compton hamburger joint where Suge ran over and killed Terry Carter -- tells us the security camera trained at the parking lot doesn't work. He got nothin'.

There's a Wells Fargo nearby but we went out there and the cameras don't face in the direction of Tam's parking lot. Ditto the Louisiana Fried Chicken joint and the Rite Aid.

Law enforcement sources tell us they also checked and came up goose eggs.

Dr. Dre is calling BS on Suge Knight for suggesting the good Doc asked Suge to come to the set to make peace with him.

Sources connected with Dre tell us ... he scoffed when he was told Suge is claiming Terry Carter -- the man he struck and killed -- was bringing Suge to the set because Dre wanted to end their beef.

TMZ broke the story ... less than an hour before the hit and run, Suge went to another set location but was thrown out by Dre's security. Sources connected with Suge say he got a call from Carter who said he had just spoken with Dre and the Beats mogul said he wanted Suge to return so he could make peace.

Our Dre sources say it never happened, and note it's pretty convenient the only other person who has first-hand knowledge is dead because Suge killed him.

Heidi Montag's father has been arrested for allegedly committing years of sexual abuse and incest with a 13-year-old girl and according to authorities it went on for years ... but sources connected to Heidi and Spencer tell TMZ ... the alleged victim has significant credibility problems.

Bill Montag was picked up by Aspen cops Thursday night. Authorities say the sexual abuse continued until the girl turned 17. The complaint says he abused the child at least 50 times.

As for the time frame ... the alleged abuse occurred between 1993 and 1998. It does not line up with Heidi or her sister Holly.

According to the docs, Bill Montag "groomed her with back rubs in her bedroom in the basement of their home," and escalated by attempting to insert a vibrator into her vagina. At age 16 he began performing oral sex. It then gets extremely graphic.

The documents describe the last incident in 1998, when he allegedly crawled into bed with her, tried to pull down her underwear and said, "I want to have sex with you." Authorities say she rebuffed him by saying, "Get the hell out of my room, no!" And he responded, "I thought that's what you wanted. I thought you loved me the way I love you."

Our sources who are very close to Heidi and Spencer tell us ... they are very familiar with the accuser who "is determined to destroy the family." They say she has stalked Heidi and Spencer at various public appearances to the point security had to remove her. Heidi and Spence believe Bill Montag will be exonerated.

4:15 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... after interviewing Suge Knight, cops have formally arrested him on murder charges, and his bail has been set at $2 million.

We're told one of the critical factors is that witnesses claim Suge threw his car in reverse once, and then a second time ... and they believe he intended to hit one of the people with whom he was fighting.

3:00 AM PT -- Suge has turned himself in for questioning and is at the station now being interviewed. One of Suge's problems ... witnesses tell us one of the 3 men who were struck by Suge's vehicle was in the altercation with him before Suge ran him over ... which could be evidence it was intentional.

9:30 PM PT -- Cops found Suge's truck abandoned in a parking lot in the Westwood section of L.A.

8:15 PM PT -- Cops just had a press conference ... and say there were 2 fights, the second resulting in the fatality. They said the first fight went down on the movie set -- and the second at a nearby burger joint. Cops said witnesses claim the car backed up and ran over the victim twice before fleeing.

6:00 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the Sheriff's Dept. has issued a bulletin to all Southern California law enforcement saying "be on the lookout" for Suge Knight ... that he is wanted for questioning for 187 -- murder. They also say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Suge Knight got into a fight on the set of a film project in Compton, ran over a man who later died, and then fled the scene.

Multiple witnesses tell us a commercial shoot for a movie -- involving Ice Cube and Dr. Dre -- was going down when Suge pulled up in his car. We're told security told Suge to leave and that's when trouble began.

A fight broke out between Suge and 2 men. Suge got back into his car, took the wheel and threw the vehicle in reverse ... and ran over a man who suffered fatal injuries.

It's unclear at this point if the victim was connected to the movie. A source close to Cube tells us production had wrapped when the fight went down ... and he and Dre were not on set.

Sources connected with Suge tell TMZ ... the 2 men who fought Suge were the instigators. Our sources say Suge was scared because he's in frail health -- in addition to being shot 6 times last summer, he recently almost died from a blood clot.

The victim is Terry Carter, who we're told is a friend of Suge's who arrived with him at the scene -- he works at a local tow truck company in Compton -- and witnesses say he's "an OG in the neighborhood."

Our sources say Carter was in the process of walking to the passenger door of Suge's vehicle, but happened to be in the rear when Suge gunned it.

Two other men were also hit ... including Cle "Bone" Sloan -- who's appeared in "Training Day" and "End of Watch" -- and suffered non-life threatening injuries. Both men are in the hospital.

Suge Knight murdered his friend ... and that's not just what cops are saying -- this is right from the victim's family.

A close family member of Terry Carter -- who did not want to be ID'd -- tells TMZ, she went to the scene almost immediately after the incident and multiple witnesses made it clear ... Suge made Terry a sacrificial lamb.

She was told the story we broke ... that Suge was an unwelcome visitor to the set of a commercial for "Straight Outta Compton." Both witnesses and detectives told her Suge and Cle "Bone" Sloan got in a physical fight while Suge was sitting in the driver's seat. Suge gunned it and struck Bone.

This is where the relative says it's murder. Bone was laying injured behind the truck and Terry ran over to pull him to safety. The relative tells TMZ Suge KNEW Terry was there but was so determined to kill Bone he just didn't care, and gunned it in reverse, rolling over Terry's head.

We asked her if she could accept Suge's explanation that it was an accident, and she said flatly, "Hell no. It was murder."

Cops in Arizona wanna make sure ... if you're scoring during Super Bowl week, you better not be paying for it -- and that's why they've busted 7 women for prostitution in the past 48 hours.

Law enforcement in Maricopa County tell us they're expecting a major increase in prostitution over the next few days -- with a reported 300,000 visitors flocking to town for the big game.

We're told law enforcement is setting up several sting operations targeting prostitution in the area of the stadium -- and over the past 2 days, they've already busted 7 women.

Law enforcement does NOT believe Suge Knight intended to run over and kill his friend Thursday, but they DO believe he tried to run over another guy and that's enough to charge him with murder.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... they have interviewed multiple witnesses who say the man Suge seemed to be after was Cle "Bone" Sloan, an actor who has appeared in "Training Day" and "End of Watch."

Suge and Bone were in a physical altercation before he threw his truck in reverse. Witnesses say Suge gunned the car in reverse twice, as if to make sure he hit his target.

The man who died, Terry Carter, was a passenger in the truck when they arrived. He's a good friend of Suge's who was apparently dealing with Bone behind the truck when Suge gunned it.

Even though Suge clearly did not intend to kill Carter, in California and most states, if someone in the process of committing a felony accidentally kills someone in the process ... he can be charged with murder.

Short story ... if Suge was gunning for Bone, that would constitute a felony -- assault with a deadly weapon -- therefore, he could be charged with "felony murder" even though his good friend -- and not Bone -- was killed.

Suge Knight's lawyer tells TMZ he's confident murder charges will not be filed because his client has a solid defense ... mortal fear.

James Blatt was leaving the West Hollywood Sheriff's substation early Friday -- and leaving his client behind because he had just been arrested on murder charges -- when he told our photog Suge feared for his safety because he was being beaten by multiple guys as he sat inside his vehicle.

Blatt said Suge backed up out of fear. He did not explain witness accounts that he gunned it in reverse twice, striking 3 men ... killing one.

Blatt says he's confident the case will go away by early next week.

Ozzy Osbourne's right hand man in Black Sabbath -- bassist Geezer Butler -- got busted for a bar fight, and spent a night in jail.

Sources tell us Butler was in a bar at the Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley Tuesday ... when the brawl broke out -- and apparently the ol' Geezer's still got some fight left in him.

Inyo County Sheriff's deputies, clearly believing the Butler did it ... arrested the 65-year-old for battery, vandalism, and disorderly conduct.

Butler famously wrote most of Sabbath's lyrics ... while Ozzy got all the glory as the band's frontman.

Has he lost his mind? Can he see or is he blind?

Who knows? But cops tell us Butler was released from jail Wednesday morning after drying out.

Jasmine Tridevil -- aka the woman who went around claiming she had three boobs -- was busted early Monday morning for suspicion of DUI, but her BAC wasn't three times the legal limit ... JUST TWO!

Tridevil (real name Alicia Hessler) was popped by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department in Tampa, FL at 3:47 AM. She was booked into the Orient Road Jail a short time later. The strip search must have been awfully interesting.

According to the booking info, Hessler's blood alcohol content was .180 and .178 in two tests ... each more than twice the legal limit in Florida.

She is currently still in custody and being held on $500 bail.

Tridevil made the rounds last September when she went around claiming to have a third breast. To the surprise of no one ... she turned out to be a fake.

Former UFC fighter Dave Herman tells TMZ Sports he's lucky to be alive after a violent encounter with police this weekend ... and says if he was black, he'd "probably be dead."

The video was insane -- showing cops using a taser on the 30-year-old heavyweight MMA expert during a stop in Indiana. Herman gets emotional when he tells us how the incident has affected his family.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Dept. has previously said Herman was speeding and refused to pull over. They also say Herman was aggressive during the stop. Herman says BS.

Herman also says he's POSITIVE he never kicked an officer during the incident -- though he claims an officer put a knee in his back (and joked that his back may have injured the cop's knee).
