R. Kelly's DRUNKEN CONFESSION Gaga DOMINATED Me at the AMAs

Published | Updated

R. Kelly got straight up out-crazied by Lady Gaga at the AMAs Sunday night -- and after the show, he was man (and drunk) enough to admit it to TMZ.

The R&B legend was admittedly sauced before he even got to the Bootsy Bellows after-party ... and when we asked for his reaction to Gaga arriving to the show on a giant horse puppet ... all he could say was "why the f*ck didn't I think of that!?!"

It's pretty funny.

Kelly also told us he thinks Gaga is one of the GREAT performers of our time ... but where does she stack up compared to him??? Watch the clip -- he's boozy ... but he's honest.

Published | Updated

There may be a little nip in the air at the American Music Awards Sunday ... TMZ has learned Kendall Jenner will be presenting.

The gig comes on the heels of the 18-year-old's very adult Instagram photo.

We're told she'll be presenting Best Pop Rock album, and get this -- the nominees are Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift and One Direction. As you know, Kendall was out with Harry Styles this week -- so advantage 1D.

This is Kendall's first time making a big appearance without the Kardashian brood.

We're sure she'll bust out big.

Joe and Nick Jonas We Don't Need All Our Bros To Perform

The Jonas Brothers are 2/3 the group they used to be, because we've learned Joe and Nick have hit the road to perform ... sans brother Kevin.

Joe and Nick showed up in Mexico City Tuesday night for the Telehit Awards Concert. It was a previous commitment that they agreed to before breaking up.

We're told Joe and Nick felt bad about bailing, whereas Kevin said, screw it.

If you want to brave the dangers of Mexico to see the last of the Jonas' ... book your tickets now.

Miley Cyrus Lights Up Joint On-Stage ... Because She Can

Published | Updated

Miley Cyrus traded twerking for toking at the EMAs -- the European version of MTV's VMAs -- puffing a fat joint on live TV Sunday night.

Cyrus performed twice during the show without sparking any controversy -- but while accepting the award for Best Video she shocked everyone by lighting up.

The awards were in Amsterdam, so she probably won't get in trouble, and Miley took full advantage ... while wearing a onesie and fur coat.

Guess marijuana isn't the only thing they're lax about over there.

When the EMAs aired in the U.S. ... Miley's joint smoking was edited out.

The question is black and white.

'House of Cards' Star 'Nobody Cares' About the Emmys

Published | Updated

Corey Stoll from "House of Cards" deserves a trophy for saying what most of Hollywood probably thinks, but is too afraid to say -- Emmys are nothing more than giant paper weights.

Corey was brutally honest -- outside an Emmy party last night -- when we asked if he was pissed he didn't even get a nomination for his role as coke and hooker loving Congressman Peter Russo.

His reply ... "Oh, no. Nobody cares about that stuff."

Spoiler alert: Corey also talks a little about his character's fate on the Netflix show.

So, if Corey's telling the truth about the Emmys -- gotta respect his honesty.

Still, we gotta ask ...

Jane Lynch Delivers Warts & All Tribute to Cory Klugman's Son Be Damned

Published | Updated

Jane Lynch just delivered a powerful tribute at the Emmys for her "Glee" costar Cory Monteith ... that definitely won't make Jack Klugman's son feel any better.

Jane pulled no punches during the speech ... reminding the audience Cory "wasn't perfect" -- and referred to his death as a reminder of the dangers of addiction.

Klugman's son felt the Emmys dissed his father by choosing to pay special tribute to Cory ... whose death he called a "self-induced tragedy."

Klugman's death was acknowledged later in the show during a montage.

Michael Douglas Matt, Give Me a Hand with My Giant ...

Published | Updated

And the Emmy for Outstanding Use of Sexual Innuendo goes to ... Michael Douglas ... who whipped out a penis joke, and a gay sex reference during his acceptance speech.

Douglas won the trophy for his role as Liberace in "Behind the Candelabra" ... which co-starred Matt Damon as Lib's lover, Scott Thorson.

As he held up the Emmy statue, Douglas motioned to Matt, and said ... "You really deserve half of this. So, do you want the bottom or the top?"

The crowd loved it. Check the clip for Michael's meaty double entendre ... about his penis size.

Also interesting: Michael's still wearing his wedding ring, and even thanked Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Jane Lynch 'I'd Be Angry Too' Over Klugman Diss

Published | Updated

Jane Lynch was shockingly candid today when we asked her how she felt about her "Glee" co-star Cory Monteith getting a special tribute while TV icon Jack Klugman is getting the bum's rush.

Jane was locked and loaded when we approached her ... and had clearly thought it through before she left home for Kings Road Cafe.

It seems Jane fully understands why Jack Klugman's son is so pissed.

Emmy Winner Peter MacNicol Cory Tribute is Great ... For Drug Awareness

Published | Updated

Emmy winner Peter MacNicol is not buying what Jack Klugman's angry son is selling because Peter thinks the tribute to Cory Monteith could actually save lives.

MacNicol -- who won an Emmy for "Ally McBeal" and also starred in classics like "Ghostbusters II" and "Sophie's Choice" -- tells TMZ tonight's tribute to Cory will create enormous drug awareness and possibly reach thousands of teens on a path of destruction.

Peter doesn't think it matters that Cory died without a single Emmy. He says, "If we are going to get into a merit system based on longevity then we are in trouble."

Tell that to Adam Klugman -- who is furious that his 3-time Emmy winning deceased father is barely getting a mention at tonight's ceremony.

But MacNicol says, "The memoriam is not only to honor those who completed a full marathon."

Emmys Red Carpet GOING GREEN WHO'D YOU RATHER?

37-year-old geek chic Mayim Bialik (left), 22-year-old family friendly Sarah Hyland (center) and 32-year-old "MY Girl" actress Anna Chlumsky (right) strapped on their best enviro-centric green gowns and hit the red carpet for the 65th Annual Emmy Awards.

The question is...

Cory Monteith's Mom Klugman's Son is Wrong My Son Deserves This

Published | Updated

Cory Monteith's mom thinks Jack Klugman's son has it all wrong -- because Cory could have been the next Jack Klugman had he lived.

Ann McGregor thinks Adam Klugman is being unfair, telling TMZ her son is absolutely worthy of getting a special in memoriam honor at tonight's Emmy Awards ... even though Jack isn't getting one.

Ann tells us she believes you cannot judge worthiness by a person's age because her son was on a path of greatness -- not only with his acting and singing abilities ... but with the charitable work he did.

Ann tells us, "If he had lived 30 more years he would have accomplished much more."

Ann believes Adam Klugman is misdirected ... and thinks its coming from a place of a son who loves and misses his father.

FYI -- Ann isn't going to the Emmys tonight and won't even watch because she says it's too painful.

Emmy B.S. Honor a Drug Addict Diss a TV Legend

Published | Updated

The suits who run the Emmys had to make a hard choice in deciding which dead actor to honor-- a TV icon who has won multiple Emmys, or a young actor with no Emmys who is now as famous for being a drug addict as a TV star. They chose door number 2.

It's interesting. We've spoken with several people who have won Emmys who are upset with the decision to give a special honor to Cory Monteith but not Jack Klugman, and they're all too scared to speak out ... for fear of some sort of retaliation.

Jack Klugman -- who has won 3 Emmys and starred in TV classics -- "The Odd Couple" and "Quincy M.E." -- has been overlooked and disrespected for special mention during tonight's ceremony. Instead ... Cory Monteith gets the honor. Jack's son thinks it's ridiculous and disrespectful, and he's right.

The Emmys are honoring 5 TV types who died in the last year -- 4 of whom have earned their stripes ... Jonathan Winters, Jean Stapleton, James Gandolfini, Gary David Goldberg -- and then there's Cory.

BTW ... Larry Hagman was also overlooked.

One TV type who has won multiple Emmys but wanted to remain anonymous scoffed and told TMZ, "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Eventually every asshole gets one."
