Meek Mill Skates on Felony Charge After Arrest

Published | Updated

12:10 PM PT -- According to prosecutors, Meek was charged with two misdemeanors -- reckless endangerment and reckless driving.

The judge released him on his own recognizance, but said he had to complete a driving improvement program before his next court date in October.

Meek Mill just won a huge legal victory which could end up keeping him out of jail ... this according to his lawyer.

Prosecutors decided not to pursue felony reckless endangerment charges against the rapper according to Meek's lawyer, Joe Tacopina.

Meek was popped Thursday night for poppin' wheelies in front of cops while shooting a music video in Harlem.

Prosecutors are mum on why they dropped the charge, but Tacopina says the case was ridiculous from the start because the incident went down Wednesday right in front of cops who did nothing to stop it.

It appears the new charge will be some sort of misdemeanor.

Meek was questioned in an Upper Manhattan Precinct and eventually arrested and charged.

MESSAGE TO THE NAZIS!

Arnold Schwarzenegger has a message to the neo-Nazis -- YOUR HEROES ARE LOSERS and they're all rotting in hell.

"I knew the original Nazis, because you see, I was born in Austria in 1947," Schwarzenegger said in a brand new video directed at the hate groups.

"Growing up, I was surrounded by broken men ... men who came home from a war filled with shrapnel and guilt. Men who were misled into a losing ideology. And I can tell you: that these ghosts you idolize spent the rest of their lives living in shame."

"And right now, they're resting in hell."

The ex-CA Gov. says the neo-Nazis are lucky to live in a country where they have the right to say horrible things ... but they should cut the anti-Jew stuff and "use that power for good."

RAMBLIN' MAN

Oakland Raiders star Marshawn Lynch was asked point-blank by the media about his national anthem protest -- but by the way he bobbed, weaved and clowned the questions, you'd think he was Floyd Mayweather.

When asked to address the "elephant in the room" ... Beast Mode responded with an elephant metaphor -- something about how elephants are scared of mice.

When asked how he felt about the way Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio responded to the anthem protest, he slithered out of that one, too.

Bottom line -- he's just here so he won't get fined.

Bucs, Rays & Lightning: We'll Pay to Take Down Confederate Statue ... In Tampa Bay

Published | Updated

Three major Tampa sports teams are pitching in to remove a Confederate monument from the city's courthouse in the wake of the backlash against similar statues in Virginia.

The statue in the middle of the controversy is the infamous Memoria en Aeterna -- a 106-year-old monument honoring the Confederate soldiers who fought in the Civil War.

Officials recently voted to remove the statue -- but only if removal costs were raised from private donors. The cost was estimated at roughly $150,000.

Enter the NFL's Tampa Bay Bucs, the MLB's Rays and the NHL's Lightning ... which just stepped up.

"Recognizing that this monument does not reflect the values of our community, in collaboration with the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, our organizations have dedicated funds to assist in moving the statue from the public space in front of the courthouse."

"Now more than ever before, we must stand united and committed to diversity and inclusion as we all attempt to heal from the tragedy in Charlottesville."

No word on when the statue will come down.

Tennis Star Victoria Azarenka I Shouldn't Have to Choose Between Kids & Career

Published | Updated

Tennis superstar Victoria Azarenka -- one of the best players in the world -- has finally broken her silence on the custody war that could force her to miss the US Open ... saying it's unfair that she has to choose between her job and her kid.

As we previously reported, Azarenka is at war with her baby daddy -- who filed custody papers in L.A. and the judge overseeing the case won't let Victoria take the kid out of the state while the trial rages.

Problem is ... the US Open starts on August 28 in NY -- but Azarenka says she REFUSES to leave her kid behind.

"Shortly after Wimbledon, Leo’s father and I separated and as we work to resolve some of the legal processes, the way things stand now is that the only way I can play in the US Open this year is if I leave Leo behind in California, which I’m not willing to do."

"No one should ever have to decide between a child and their career, we are strong enough to do both," Azarenka said.

Azarenka's attorney, Laura Wasser, recently told the judge the tennis star is more than willing to buy a plane ticket for the baby daddy and put him up in a hotel for the 2-week tournament, but the judge said no.

Still, Victoria is holding out hope that the two sides can reach an amicable resolution.

"I remain optimistic that in the coming days Leo’s father and I can put aside any differences and take steps in the right direction to more effectively work as a team and agree on an arrangement for all three of us to travel and for me to compete but, more importantly to ensure that Leo has a consistent presence from both of his parents."

Donald Trump Shame on Us For Removing Confederate Statues

Published | Updated

Donald Trump is fighting like General Robert E. Lee to preserve the symbols of the Confederacy ... and he's resorting to shame.

Trump just tweeted, "Sad to see the history and culture of our great country being ripped apart with the removal of our beautiful statues and monuments."

He goes on ... "You can't change history, but you can learn from it. Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson -- who's next, Washington, Jefferson? So foolish!"

Trump does not elaborate on the lessons we can learn from the statues.

And, he says, "Also, the beauty that is being taken out of our cities, towns and parks will be greatly missed and never able to be comparably replaced!"

A number of cities are removing Confederate monuments in the wake of the Charlottesville violence.

NUTS!

A Boston Red Sox photographer took a baseball square in the balls on the ceremonial first pitch Wednesday night ... and it looked BAD.

It was just another night at Fenway with the Sox taking on the Cards ... until the PA announcer told the kid throwing the first pitch to "fire it in there!"

Young Jordan must have took "it" to mean a random guy's balls ... and the unlucky photog wide right of home plate paid the price -- taking it right in his manhood before limping away.

The dude who took the beanball seems alright, though ... using his own photo to joke about the nut-shot after the game:

Jermichael Finley Blasted By Baby Mama 'Don't Forget You're Black!'

Published | Updated

Jermichael Finley's baby mama just WENT OFF on the former NFL tight end for trashing guys like Marshawn Lynch and Colin Kaepernick over their protests ... telling him, "You are black!"

The ex-Green Bay Packer really pissed off his ex, Courtney Finley, with comments he made on social media and TMZ Sports ... when he said the national anthem protests are more about self-promotion than social justice.

Courtney, who is white, blasted the guy in a scathing Twitter post saying ...

"This serves as a reminder @jermichaelf88 in case you have forgotten; you are black."

"The athletes (foremost people) you are telling to sit down (or stand) and shut up are the very men that are protesting for your safety and equality in a country that has nearly revoked that right based on your skin color."

"As a biracial mother of 4 black boys, that have been left to be raised by a single mother, I have deep and desperate gratitude for those that use their platform to fight for our community's justice, safety, & equality."

Courtney says Jermichael's comments are "absurd" and "offensive" -- adding, "Don't be so pathetically thirsty for attention that you choose to devalue another man's motives."

"Don't choose to be so insulting and imply professional athletes have no place in changing the world."

"Most importantly, don't forget to look in the mirror and see that you too are black and have an obligation to derail racism as best you can for yourself and others."

"If you don't want to be part of the resolution to the racial inequalities in this country that's on you, but for the sake of our 4 sons, don't be part of the problem. I pray you will reevaluate your stance."

Ric Flair Multiple Organ Problems ... Condition Critical

Published | Updated

Ric Flair is still in critical condition -- and suffering from "multiple organ problems," this according to the wrestler's fiancee.

"I have been unable to talk on the phone without crying and just feel shocked over events," Wendy Barlow said in a statement.

Barlow says she first took 68-year-old Flair to the hospital Friday night after he was complaining of severe abdominal pains ... and "from that moment on it all seems like a nightmare."

Barlow says Flair is now dealing with multiple organ problems -- but didn't specify exactly what he's been diagnosed with or what caused the problems in the first place.

"I want everyone to know he still needs prayers," Barlow said ... while noting that she hasn't left Flair's side and vows to give him "the best care possible."

As we previously reported, Flair was placed in a medically induced coma earlier this week and underwent a surgical procedure on Monday. No word if he's still in the coma.

NFL Players Association Fires Back At NFL For Zeke Statement They're Liars & Hypocrites

Published | Updated

The NFL Players Association is firing back at the NFL for its recent statement on the Zeke Elliott case ... calling them hypocrites and liars who should be ashamed for "stooping to new lows."

The scathing statement is in direct response to NFL's release on Wednesday ... where they accused the PA of "spreading derogatory information to the media about the victim in the Ezekiel Elliott discipline case."

The Players Association released the following statement.

"The public statement issued on behalf of every NFL owner is a lie. The NFLPA categorically denies the accusations made in this statement. We know the league office has a history of being exposed for its lack of credibility."

"This is another example of the NFL's hypocrisy on display and an attempt to create a sideshow to distract from their own failings in dealing with such serious issues. They should be ashamed for stooping to new lows."

Charlottesville Victim's Mom Speaks At Memorial ... Neo-Nazis Won't Shut Her Up

Published | Updated

Heather Heyer's mother says the white supremacists and hate groups responsible for her daughter's death didn't shut her up ... they made her message that much louder.

Susan Bro gave a powerful speech Wednesday at her daughter's memorial service in Charlottesville's Paramount Theater, and served up a rallying cry for what her daughter died for ... standing up against hate.

Susan told a packed room ... "They tried to kill my child to shut her up. Well guess what? You just magnified her." She added ... if people continue Heather's legacy of fighting racism and hate, it'd make her daughter's death worthwhile.

Susan ended with a powerful message ... "I'd rather have my child. But, by golly, if I gotta give her up, we're gonna make it count."

20-year-old James Alex Fields Jr. -- an alleged neo-Nazi sympathizer -- has been charged with murder in connection to the crime.

Susan did not address Donald Trump's controversial remarks regarding blame in Charlottesville on "both sides" ... but the Prez did mention Heather today.

NFL Stop Shaming Ezekiel Elliott's Accuser!

Published | Updated

The NFL is calling out the NFL Player's Association ... saying the league has received tips that the NFLPA is going on a smear campaign against Ezekiel Elliott's accuser in an effort to exonerate the RB.

Multiple reports have surfaced in the past few days, painting the accuser as everything from a racist to an extortionist ... and the NFL's public relations honcho says the reports are shameful.

"Over the past few days we’ve received multiple reports of the NFLPA spreading derogatory information to the media about the victim in the Ezekiel Elliott discipline case," Brian McCarthy said.

"It's a common tactic to attempt to prove the innocence of the accused by discrediting the victim -- in this case Ms. Thompson -- when coming forward to report such abuse."

"Common or not, these tactics are shameful. Efforts to shame and blame victims are often what prevent people from coming forward to report violence and/or seek help in the first place."

We called the NFLPA for comment -- so far, no word back.

The NFL is standing by its investigation into Zeke -- which the league says showed a pattern of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend, Tiffany Thompson.

READY TO RUMBLE

Whatcha gonna do, brother ... when O'CONNELLMANIA runs wild on you?!?!?

Yep, Jerry O'Connell stepped right into the squared circle at the Rumble of the North event in Canada this weekend ... where Carter "King of the North" Mason was battling Travis McCabe.

O'Connell was the special "guest referee" -- but when McCabe called him out in the center of the ring, Jerry ditched the stripes and went full beast mode!!!

Fun Fact -- Jerry's JACKED!!!

Also, he totally screwed over McCabe to help Mason win the match.

Dirty tactic ... but effective.
