Nia Long Man Claiming to Be Her Son Arrested Assault with Tent Pole

Being Nia Long's son is NOT a get-out-of-jail-free card, especially when you're NOT really her son at all -- as a guy found out after he allegedly smacked a stranger with a tent pole.
Law enforcement tells TMZ ... Tamir Rasool Morris was arrested last weekend in Santa Monica where cops say he assaulted a random person in a park. When officers questioned him, Morris told them his name was Massai Dorsey II ... which is the name of Nia's actual 23-year-old son.
What's creepy for Nia and her fam is this guy's clearly done some research ... because he also gave officers Massai's correct birth day and month, but finally slipped up with the year. We're told he was off by 2 years.
Of course, his web of lies fell apart when he was booked and fingerprinted ... which revealed his real name.
According to our sources, cops suspect Morris pulled Massai's info from social media, but Santa Monica PD wants to make it clear ... the real Massai was not at all involved in the incident, and his name was given without his knowledge.
As for Morris, he's currently sitting in jail in lieu of $30,000 bail, and was booked for assault with a deadly weapon and false impersonation.

Jonathan Majors Just Me, Myself & I After Trial Text Revelation
Jonathan Majors is gathering his thoughts after what you could argue was a rough week for him in court -- ending with some startling texts he once sent being read in front of the jury.
The embattled actor was spotted on a solo stroll through Manhattan Saturday, where he seemed to be on a coffee run -- as he ended up grabbing two and balanced them on his way back to wherever he was going.
Considering the eventful week, these pics are telling for many reasons -- for one, he's all by his lonesome ... this after his GF, Meagan Good, has come to every single court date of his -- including showing up the past several days during the trial -- and been right by his side.
No sign of her here though ... although, he could've been grabbing Joe for the two of them.
In any case, JM kept his little outing here stylish ... uniquely his style, that is. The dude was wearing a khaki peacoat -- which he eventually draped off his shoulders -- a white tee, black pants, shades and a matching golf cap. Like all his public appearances, he's dressed up.
Now, as for what might be on his mind ... well, a lot of things, we're sure -- including what's gonna happen to his career, regardless of what the jury ultimately decides in their verdict.
Fact is ... there's been some ugly revelations about him throughout the trial -- much of which came from Grace Jabbari's testimony about their relationship ... including claims he'd been verbally abusive to her in the past. Remember the whole Coretta Scott King thing?
Even more damning than just that, though, is what came to light Friday ... when text messages Majors had sent Jabbari back in September 2022 were read aloud in court.
They included exchanges between Majors and Jabbari, where the two of the appeared to refer to some sort of altercation in London ... with Majors writing at the time, "They will ask you questions, and as I don't think you actually protect us, it could lead to investigation even if you do lie, and they suspect something."
Jabbari replied, "I will tell the doctor I bumped my head if I go. I'm going to give it one more day, but I can't sleep and I need some stronger pain killers. That's all: why would I tell them what really happened when it's clear I want to be with you."
That coupled with the testimony she gave about other times he'd allegedly shown aggression around her have not landed well with the public (just check Twitter/X). Because so much of all these old alleged incidents have been allowed to be aired out in court, it feels like it almost doesn't matter if he's found guilty or not -- from our POV, anyway.
Of course, we'll see what the jury has to say about it all in the end -- and more importantly, what Disney wants to do in the aftermath. They're far and away his biggest employer right now, and there's a lot of money and work on the line depending on how things shake out.
Majors' trial continues next week, and we're expecting to hear from other key witnesses -- including the car service driver, who could presumably speak on the alleged incident in his vehicle and answer once and for all ... did the guy brutalize her back there or not???
In the meantime ... it's just Majors out here in these streets, patiently waiting.

Jonathan Majors Paseando solo...
Fiery Death Video Brazilian Woman Sets Husband Ablaze ... Runs Around Like Human Torch
A woman in Brazil took domestic violence to a whole new level ... showering her husband in a flammable liquid before setting him on fire -- and ultimately killing him.
The shocking incident was recorded on surveillance video at a store in Rio de Janeiro last Monday ... showing every moment of the horror as it unfolded.
Check it out ... Ana Maria Paixao walks into the stock room holding a bottle of fluid as she approaches her husband, Andre Chapeta, sitting at a table.
She first douses Chapeta with the liquid and then uses a lighter to set him ablaze, causing him to jump up from the table and dash out of the room.
Chapeta makes his way out to the street, where he runs around like a human torch before he collapses to the ground.
He was eventually brought to a local hospital, where he died Friday after being treated for severe burns over 92 percent of his body.
On Thursday, Paixao was taken into police custody, but she was later released on a technicality after a judge failed to sign the arrest warrant.
G1, a Brazilian news outlet, reported that Paixao appeared to be motivated by "jealousy."

Chiefs WR Justyn Ross Receives 6-Game Ban ... After Alleged Altercation With Girlfriend
The NFL has just handed down a 6-game suspension for Kansas City Chiefs receiver Justyn Ross ... after he was arrested in October for an alleged altercation with his girlfriend.
Adam Schefter was first to report the news Friday ... revealing the NFL implemented the punishment on Ross for what it says were violations of the league's Personal Conduct Policy.
Because Ross -- who signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in May 2022 -- already missed five games following his placement on the Commissioner's Exempt List after the arrest ... he will now only have to miss this weekend's tilt against Buffalo before he can return to Kansas City game days.
Schefter reported as part of the league's punishment, however, he will have to pay back the game checks he received while on the exempt list.
As we previously reported, the 23-year-old was accused of getting into a physical altercation with his girlfriend in Johnson County, Kansas on October 23 ... after he allegedly found out she was cheating on him.
The woman told police, according to court documents, that Ross got in her face, pushed her, and started throwing things at her after he looked through her phone. The docs also say he damaged her Mercedes during the incident
Ross was formally hit with criminal charges over the allegations -- including one count of domestic battery -- although the case was ultimately dismissed on Nov. 22 after a judge granted his application for diversion.
The former Clemson Tigers star had recorded 3 catches for 34 yards prior to his arrest.

Michigan School Shooter Ethan Crumbley Sentenced ... Life In Prison

Ethan Crumbley -- the teenager who killed 4 students during a shooting rampage at a Michigan high school -- has just been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The 17-year-old was given his sentence Friday ... you'll recall, Crumbley killed 4 of his classmates and wounded 7 other people when he opened fire at Oxford High School, in the Detriot suburb of Oxford Township, MI.
Crumbley told the court he was "a really bad person" before he was handed his hefty sentence ... adding he's been trying to do better in his life but admits, "I have done terrible things that no one should ever do."
Victim Kylie Ossege, who was shot by Crumbley during the rampage, broke down in tears Friday while detailing the horrific incident ... which included the feeling of warm blood soaking into the carpet.
You'll recall, Crumbley pleaded guilty last year to 4 counts of first-degree murder, a count of terrorism causing death, and 19 other charges related to the deadly massacre.
Crumbley's parents, Jennifer and James, were also taken into custody, being charged with 4 counts of involuntary manslaughter -- one for each student who was killed. Their trial will begin next month.
Prosecutors said Jennifer and James knew about their son's mental health issues but still bought him the gun he used in the attack.
A teacher at Oxford High claimed to see Crumbley looking up information online about ammunition ... but when it was brought to Jennifer's attention, prosecutors say she didn't appear to be alarmed. The following day, Crumbley opened fire at his school.

Sam Haskell Jr. Shirtless in Court Accused of Killing Wife and His In-Laws
Sam Haskell Jr. -- the man accused of murdering his wife and in-laws -- showed up to court for his latest arraignment without a shirt ... something cops say is due to his suicidal thoughts.
Haskell Jr. was brought into the Los Angeles courtroom Thursday shirtless as he was escorted inside.
The officer inside the courtroom said Haskell Jr. didn't have a shirt on due to suicidal ideations ... explaining he initially was just wearing a velcro vest that had no material he could choke or injure himself with, but the vest kept falling down, so it was taken off.
As we reported, Haskell Jr. was hit with 3 counts of murder last month in connection with the death of his 37-year-old wife, Mei, and her parents ... 72-year-old Gaoshan Li and 64-year-old Yanxiang Wang.
Remember, we obtained footage that appeared to show Haskell dumping what may have been a body into a dumpster in Encino, CA -- and as you'll recall, a homeless person later reported finding a torso at that same dumpster the following day.
Haskell Jr. is due in court again next month.

Jonathan Majors Referenced Violence, Threatened Suicide ... Texts to Accuser Read in Court
Jonathan Majors' text messages to his accuser, Grace Jabbari, are being read out loud in court Friday -- and, in them, he references some physical violence during a London incident that happened 6 months prior to the one for which he's standing trial.
In the September 2022 texts, Majors says, "They will ask you questions, and as I don't think you actually protect us, it could lead to investigation even if you do lie, and they suspect something."
Jabbari replied, "I will tell the doctor I bumped my head if I go. I'm going to give it one more day, but I can't sleep and I need some stronger pain killers. That's all: why would I tell them what really happened when it's clear I want to be with you."
During her 4th day on the stand, Grace started to read the texts out loud in court, but broke down in tears ... and Assistant D.A. Kelli Galaway had to continue reading the exchange.
The messages apparently refer to an incident that happened while the couple was in London. The judge has already ruled the details of what happened are not admissible in this trial, but did allow their text messages about the incident because they seem to describe "conduct that is inextricably interwoven with the charged acts."
Remember, Majors is on trial for an alleged NYC attack on Jabbari in March 2023 ... when the then-couple had a heated exchange in the back of a taxi, and she claims he struck her as they fought for his phone.
The September 2022 texts also include a portion where Majors threatens to take his own life. He wrote, "Last night I considered killing myself versus coming home. I need love too. Or maybe I'm such a monster and horrible man, I don't deserve it. And I should just kill myself. In this way, my existence is miserable. I want to die."
Jabbari eventually told Majors in text she would not go to a doctor and said she understood his fear about an investigation. When he continued threatening suicide, saying, "I will probably kill myself, it's not really contemplating anymore" ... she told him she would have to "tell someone" if he continued saying such things.
While the texts were read in court, Majors reportedly had his head down ... and when they finished reading them, he glanced at the jury.

Sex Shop Attack Cop Busted for Beating Up Clerk ... Pissed His Wife Wanted BIG Toys
Size does matter, allegedly, to an Oklahoma cop who's been arrested for assaulting a sex shop clerk who defended the cop's wife ... in an argument about the size of her sex toys. Seriously.
This all went down at Christie's Toy Box in Oklahoma City ... where Pottawatomie Sheriff's commander David DeWitt took his wife shopping for a new sex toy. According to the arrest report, obtained by FOX25, DeWitt grew enraged Monday night when the missus picked up a few items that were, umm ... "bigger than him."
The clerk says DeWitt told his wife she didn't need fake penises that put him to shame, and allegedly raised his hand as if to backhand her. The clerk says he stepped in between them at the point and asked DeWitt to leave the store, but he allegedly barked back, "F*** you, I'm a cop!"
The violence allegedly broke out when DeWitt and his wife were checking out, and that same clerk asked if they wanted to buy any batteries for their new device. That's when DeWitt allegedly yelled, "What the f*** you say to me, fat boy?"
The clerk says he told DeWitt to get out of his face, and that's when DeWitt jumped behind the counter and repeatedly punched him in the face and ribs, tossed a bunch of merchandise around the store ... and then left in a convertible Bentley.
Shortly thereafter, DeWitt was pulled over, but not for the sex shop incident -- a state trooper nailed him for speeding. The trooper was going to let DeWitt go with a warning, but then heard the call about the alleged fight over a phallus ... and notified OKC cops he had DeWitt pulled over.
DeWitt was booked for misdemeanor assault, and he's been suspended without pay pending an investigation.
No word on if his wife got the toy she wanted. Come through, Santa!

KEANU REEVES SKI-MASKED Burglars Hit HOME ... Make Off with Firearm
-
Exclusive

Keanu Reeves' home has once again been targeted ... law enforcement sources say burglars in ski masks broke into his place and fled the area before officers arrived.
We're told the actor's L.A. home was burglarized Wednesday evening ... with LAPD responding to an anonymous call about a possible trespasser at his property at around 7 PM. Cops arrived on the scene, and conducted a search, but found no one.
But, we're told police were back there again around 1 AM when an alarm sounded on the property ... and this time officers say multiple men in ski masks were spotted on security cams smashing a window and entering the house.
According to our sources, the culprits took one firearm from the home before making a run for it. It's unclear if anything else was taken, but Keanu was not home at the time.
Detectives are still looking at videos from the home and around the neighborhood for more clues. We're told one thing they're specifically looking into is whether the first call to cops was made by someone scoping the house.
The 'John Wick' star's home has been at the center of similar attempts in the past ... with two back-to-back intruders in 2014 -- and he was also granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who he says showed up at his home earlier this year.
Stay safe, Keanu!

Martin Luther King Jr. Woman Tries to Burn Down His Birth Home
update
10:47 AM PT -- The woman, Laneisha Shantrice Henderson, has been charged with attempted arson and interfering with government property. We've just obtained her mug shot.
A would-be arsonist tried to burn down the birth home of Martin Luther King Jr. in Atlanta -- but her plan was foiled by a bunch of tourists who filmed the ordeal and restrained her.
The 26-year-old woman was caught on camera Wednesday, holding a large plastic gasoline container and splashing the front of MLK's house with the flammable liquid.
Check out the video ... one of the tourists turns his camera on the woman and asks, "What are you doing?"
The woman turns to him and says, "What?" before waving him off and continuing to vandalize the historic home.
Two other people visiting the landmark grabbed the woman and held her down on the ground until Atlanta PD officers arrived and took her into custody.
The suspect, whose name was not released, was charged with criminal attempt arson and criminal attempt interference with government property.
She could also face federal charges since the house is operated by the National Park Service -- a federally run agency.
Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum gave credit to the good Samaritans, saying, “That action saved an important part of American history tonight.”
Atlanta Fire Department Battalion Chief Jerry DeBerry also pointed out the house could have been "engulfed in flames" within seconds if the witnesses hadn't come to the rescue.
The King Center -- established in 1968 to carry on MLK's legacy -- issued a statement on X, reading in part, "Tonight, an unfortunate incident occurred at the birth home of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as an individual attempted to set fire to this historic property. Fortunately, the attempt was unsuccessful, thanks to the brave intervention of good Samaritans and the quick response of law enforcement."
