As we previously reported, Mel rolled over to the El Segundo Police Department last night to have his picture and thumb prints taken ... after the actor pled no contest to simple battery last week.

The charge stems from an alleged standoff between Mel and his baby mama Oksana Grigorieva back in January 2010.

As we previously reported, Mel was sentenced to 16 hours of community service and 52 weeks of counseling ... along with 36 months of informal probation.

Gough has one hell of a resume dating back to the '40s ... including "Out of Africa" and "The Boys from Brazil."

Sources familiar with the report tell TMZ ... Lindsay fessed up to her probation officer ... she was drinking Kombucha tea, which has an alcohol content of 0.5% or less ... and now the L.A. County Probation Department added it to the list of reasons why the judge should violate her probation and send her to jail.

Lindsay was so bold ... she actually left one of her alcohol ed classes clutching a bottle of Kombucha.

Dr. Murray's lawyers were in court this AM. Among other things, they lasered in on a broken syringe that had rolled under Michael's deathbed. The defense wants a first generation fingerprint to determine who was handling it.

Defense sources tell us ... Dr. Murray insists he did not break the syringe. As TMZ first reported ... the defense believes MJ caused his own death by giving himself a massive overdose of Propofol while Murray was out of the room.

Defense sources say ... there were only two people in the room, and since Murray did not break the syringe, Michael must have handled it.

The defense is asking that the FBI deliver the first generation fingerprint.

Nate Dogg -- real name Nathaniel D. Hale -- had survived strokes in 2007 and 2008 ... and was famous for his smooth vocal collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Warren G. and Dr. Dre to name a few.

The Press Telegram in Nate's hometown of Long Beach, CA first reported his death late Tuesday night.

Alejandra Jackson -- the baby mama of Randy and Jermaine -- has been living at the house with her kids, and the estate is going to court Tuesday trying to evict her.

In new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Alejandra's lawyer claims Michael may have held the property in joint tenancy with La Toya, so when Michael died his interest in the house would have automatically gone to La Toya.

We checked the records of the L.A. County Recorder, and the title is currently held as Michael Jackson J Decd [deceased]. And Michael Kane, Michael's business manager, is listed as a co-owner. La Toya's name is never mentioned.

TMZ broke the story ... Katherine Jackson is trying to evict Alejandra and her kids.

Sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ she's continuing on the path to a healthier life by kicking her nicotine habit ... cold turkey no less. We're told Lindsay quit about a week ago and now works out with a trainer every morning.

While LiLo has been adamant about not accepting a plea bargain that includes jail time -- Lynwood Correctional Facility ... her old haunts ... is a non-smoking detention center.

Serendipity?

As TMZ first reported, Oksana still plans to file a lawsuit against Mel, alleging battery, emotional distress and defamation.

But sources close to Gibson tell us he will wage legal war if Oksana files -- and will NOT settle out of court. In fact, we're told Mel will gladly file his own lawsuit against the woman he says put a $15 million price tag on the tapes in return for keeping them secret.

Looks like this battle has just begun.

We're told Jake was in the restroom, doing his thing, when a guy snapped off a pic. Not cool!

Although there are rumors a fight went down, we're told Jake simply talked to the guy -- who understood his mistake -- and eventually the pic was deleted.

Sheen launched his official website last night, complete with its own unique rant video. The Vatican Assassin is using the site to sell tickets to his shows in Detroit and Chicago ... and to peddle a few t-shirts with his favorite Sheenisms.

Lawyers for the estate just filed a response to Alejandra's request to stay in the house indefinitely ... in which the estate once again makes the point .. she's an UNWANTED house guest with no legal leg to stand on.

Alejandra -- who has children with both Randy and Jermaine Jackson -- has refused to leave ... arguing, among other things, that Michael would have wanted her to stay there.

Alejandra has claimed the estate has tried to literally starve her out of house and home ... by removing all of the food from the property and changing the locks on her.

A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
