Luke Bryan's finally opened up about what really happened to his late sister Kelly, who died back in 2007.

The country star made his comments during his appearance on Tuesday's episode of the "All There Is with Anderson Cooper" podcast, and he revealed his sibling died of sudden death syndrome.

Sudden death syndrome encompasses a variety of fatal cardiac conditions, according to Healthline.

Luke said Kelly had unexpectedly died while doing laundry, and said her death was as if "somebody just turned the switch off on her."

Luke said it took an extended period of time to find out exactly why his sister had died, and said everything surrounding her death was "inconclusive." He also recalled Kelly had suffered an orbital bone injury, which he surmised was the result of her falling and knocking herself out.

Tragedy revisited Bryan's family ... Kelly's husband, Ben Cheshire, died after suffering a heart attack eight years after his wife's death, according to Us Weekly.

The singer subsequently adopted their three children, Jordan, Kris, and Tilde, who were raised alongside his children, Thomas and Tatum.

Luke said he was happy to have been able to take in his sister's kids, and said it was "just what you do as family."

Dr. Phil My Television Network's Gonna Be Sold Off For Scrap!

Published

It looks like Dr. Phil's going to be asking for some advice in the near future ... because he just took a major loss in his company's bankruptcy trial.

A U.S. bankruptcy judge ordered the proceeding to switch over to a Chapter 7 liquidation case ... as opposed to keeping things in a standard Chapter 11 bankruptcy case on Tuesday, according to Variety.

The trial's centered on the fate of Merit Street Media, a television network startup which was the result of a collaboration between Christian not-for-profit broadcaster TBN and Phil's Peteski Productions. The company was launched in April 2024, and it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in July this year.

Donald Trump Sorry, Folks, I'm Not Allowed To Run For President Again!

Published

It looks like Donald Trump's being realistic about the prospect of a third term as U.S. president ... because he's finally admitted he wouldn't be able to run for another four years in office.

The business magnate-turned-politician confessed he'd eventually have to leave the White House while speaking to reporters on a flight to South Korea on Tuesday, according to NBC News.

47 seemed pretty bummed out about not being able to stick around as the POTUS in the future, saying the whole situation is "too bad."

He clarified he wouldn't be "allowed to run" in 2028 ... despite claiming he was polling higher than many recent presidents ... which is not quite accurate.

FYI, the Constitution's 22nd Amendment prohibits presidents from serving more than two terms in office, meaning Trump's going to be all tapped out at the end of his current term in January 2029.

The thing is, Trump publicly mulled over the idea of bucking the conditions set out in the 22nd Amendment -- without giving any specifics -- on a few occasions throughout his second time in office.

And he ruled out the prospect of becoming Vice President earlier this month, too ... but he's still got three more years as the country's head honcho.

The professional basketball player's played for several different teams throughout her athletic career ... and she's since branched out into modeling.

We're going to take a look and see how the athlete made a name for herself -- and how she ended up being named as Miss June 2025 by a long-running publication.

Kysere Comes From An Athletic Family

Kysre's not the only one in her family with athletic experience, because her father, Grant, played in the NBA for several years, and her mother, Lisa, played guard at Louisiana Tech.

Plus, the athlete's sister played for the Michigan State Spartans women's basketball team, and her uncle Glen also spent several seasons in the NBA.

Kysre followed in her mother's footsteps and played college ball, as she spent a single season with the Michigan Wolverines.

The athlete eventually transferred to the University of West Virginia, and she played with the Mountaineers for three seasons.

She's Played On Two WNBA Teams

Kysre began her career in the WNBA in 2021, when she was picked by the Indiana Fever after putting on a stellar performance in the NCAA Women's Tournament, according to CBS Sports.

The thing is, the athlete only spent a single season with the Fever before she was waived by the team.

She remained unsigned until May 2024, when it was announced she'd made the Chicago Sky's Opening Day roster.

Kysre ended up being waived by the Sky later in the year, and she joined the AU Pro Basketball league in 2025.

Kysre Formerly Dated An NBA Star

Kysre's love life's been connected to the court, as she was formerly in a relationship with Kevin Porter Jr., who currently plays for the Milwaukee Bucks.

However, the pair's relationship became the subject of controversy in 2023, when the athlete's former boyfriend allegedly assaulted her at a hotel in Manhattan.

Although Kysre told the New York Post her former boyfriend hadn't hit her, Porter later pled guilty to misdemeanor assault and a harassment violation in relation to the alleged incident, according to ESPN.

She was later linked to NBA star Jaylen Brown, and the pair attended the 2024 ESPYs together.

She Was Named As Miss June 2025

Kysre's maintained an active life off the court, as the athlete was named as Playboy's Miss June 2025 in October 2025.

The publication made the big news known by sharing a post on Instagram. It's worth noting she's become the first current professional basketball player to have ever been named as a Playmate.

Kysre issued a brief statement at the time and claimed the move into modeling was a natural "evolution," not a "transition."

FEELIN' QUEASY
CNN

Hurricane Melissa just touched down in Jamaica a few hours ago ... but its effects were felt by meteorologist Matthew Cappucci, who vomited on camera while flying through the eye of the storm.

Cappucci was interviewed by CNN's Erin Burnett on Monday evening, and he shared various photos and videos taken as he got a first-hand feel for how severe the hurricane really was -- including a clip of him losing his lunch while dealing with serious turbulence.

The meteorologist described the experience of flying through the hurricane as being close to riding "a rollercoaster at night" and compared it to riding Space Mountain at Disney World, which is mostly operated in a dark environment.

Cappucci also expressed his time flying through the hurricane was one of the most "breathtaking and simultaneously horrifying" experiences of his professional career.

He reposted a clip from the interview, which included the video of him puking, on his X account, and he jokingly wrote his television career had officially "peaked."

Even though Cappucci took the whole thing in stride, Hurricane Melissa's no laughing matter, and he was pretty clear about the potential destruction headed towards Jamaica.

Winds from the hurricane, which has been downgraded to a Category 4, are coming in at almost 185 mph, and there's been a total of seven deaths related to the natural disaster reported so far, reports NBC News.

Emma Thompson Hey A.I., Could You Please 'F*** Off?!'

Published

It looks like Emma Thompson's not really a fan of A.I. ... because she described using A.I.-supported programs as an "intense irritation" during her appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Monday.

The comedian broached the topic with the actress by asking her about how she felt about the ongoing A.I. revolution, which plenty of Hollywood's scared of at the moment.

Thompson expressed she couldn't stand the idea of using artificial intelligence to help her creatively, and went so far as to claim she wrote her scripts the old-fashioned way with a pen and paper.

It's also important to note Walsh's fourth pregnancy was publicly revealed back in June, when she was spotted with a baby bump while stepping out in London, according to People.

Oh, and we should mention Grammer's got four older children, namely his daughters Spencer, Greer, and Mason, as well as his eldest son Jude.

Donald Trump I Got An MRI And My Doctors Say I'm Doing Just Fine!

Published

President Donald Trump's apparently got a pretty clean bill of health ... because he just claimed his MRI results came out 'perfect.'

POTUS made the statement about his well-being aboard Air Force One on Monday, and he stated the MRI took place during a recent visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, according to CNN.

47 also claimed his doctors thought the results of the MRI were some of the best they'd ever seen for a guy his age. He also said his doctors had given reporters "very conclusive" information about the procedure.

However, Trump remained tight-lipped about the actual reason for the MRI, and told the reporters present to ask his doctors why he'd gone in for the procedure.

Plus, the White House hasn't offered any information about why POTUS headed to Walter Reed for the second time this year, as he had an annual check-up in April.

We should note Trump's health hasn't exactly been 100% this whole year, as he was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency -- which is when valves in certain veins don't work and allow blood to pool up, according to the Mayo Clinic -- earlier this year.

Concerns have also been raised about bruising seen on 47's hands in recent months, although the White House physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, chalked it all up to lots of handshaking and usage of aspirin, which can apparently make bruising easier.
