Gigi Hadid on Vogue Sorry About the 'Blackface' ... But, It Ain't My Fault!
12:40 PM PT -- Vogue just issued a statement to TMZ through its parent company, Conde Nast International, about the controversial cover, saying in part ... "In our latest cover shoot by Steven Klein, the vision was to create a beachwear-themed story with a stylized bronzing effect. We understand that the result has caused some debate with our readers, and we sincerely apologize if we have caused any offence."
Gigi Hadid is issuing a mea culpa for what many fans perceived to be her in blackface on the new cover of Vogue Italia ... even though she's not taking any of the blame.
Gigi posted a statement in reaction to a ton of backlash she and Vogue received Thursday, after she was featured on the magazine's May 2018 cover, saying she had no creative control of the shoot ... including whatever happened to the photo later in editing.
The model admits to getting bronzed up for the shoot -- noting that's the style the photographer, Steven Klein, likes to roll with for projects. She says she was aware she'd come off as slightly darker ... but cops to the ultimate execution being bungled.
Call out @vogue_italia for putting @GiGiHadid, who is not a woman of color, in an afro wig and blackface. pic.twitter.com/s0jKf2TfjY

Gigi and Vogue got a similar reaction with another Vogue Italia cover from back in 2015 ... when she was photographed rocking an afro wig. While she proudly posted Thursday's new cover online at first ... she has since taken it down.

Nicki Minaj Sued Over T-Shirt Design Those Boobs Are Mine!!!
Nicki Minaj grabbed a pair of boobs and slapped 'em on a t-shirt -- but the problem is, that boob design belongs to someone else ... according to a lawsuit.
Nicki just got sued by Isiah Simon, an artist who says he's the creator of the inverted heart design -- which is really just a drawing of 2 big boobs in a bra or bikini. He's used his on "I Love Venice Beach" merchandise.
Isiah says he copyrighted the heart-shaped design in 2015 ... on Valentine's Day, of course. In his lawsuit, he says Nicki and Universal Music Group "brazenly" stole his design for her own gear.
Fans can purchase the "I Love Nicki" shirts on UMG's website, but Isiah wants that shut down immediately.
He's suing, not only to block the sales, but also the profits UMG and Nicki are presumably earning.

We know you're wondering, so ... it's a 4-carat elongated radiant cut diamond. Lea and Zandy announced their engagement last weekend. They've been dating since last summer, when Zandy managed to bust out of the friendzone ... they were pals before the hookup.

We're sure she's proud of Zandy, too. He just doesn't fit as easily on her finger.

Osama bin Laden Killer American Hero Rocks America's Anti-Hero
John Rambo, meet the guy who killed Osama bin Laden -- now play nice.
Ex-U.S. Navy Seal Robert O'Neill posted a photo Saturday of himself wearing a shirt from Sylvester Stallone's clothing store -- the Sly Stallone Shop -- featuring one of the actor's most iconic characters in an iconic shot ... Rambo taking his mug shot in 'First Blood.'
The American hero -- who's credited with firing the head shots that took down bin Laden -- also shouted out New York's finest in his caption, saying ... "The only guy with a better mugshot than me is Rocky! In the presence of badasses: Rambo and the NYPD!"
Funny enough, Sly's clothing IG account gave him some love back, re-posting his pic and saying ... "Truly an honor to have American hero @mchooyah Robert O’Neill wearing our Rambo mugshot shirt."
For the record ... O'Neill drew first props -- not Rambo.

Eric Bellinger Even My Goats Keep it Gucci!! (Yes, We Said Goats)
Singer-songwriter Eric Bellinger just outdid everyone who dresses their kid in designer duds by dressing up his pet goats in Gucci ... horn-to-toe!
Eric, who's written hits for Usher, Justin Bieber and Chris Brown, was on his way to the Gucci store Thursday when we spotted him on Rodeo Drive. He told us he was taking his pets because Gucci staffers didn't believe he had 2 goats that needed t-shirt fittings -- $1800 worth at that!
Gucci tees start around $480, which means even his goats won't wear entry level Gucci. Eric topped off the outfits with multi-colored tape on their horns to match the tees, of course.
It gets even more unbelievable when Bellinger, a yoga enthusiast, starts talking about WHY he has a pair of goats in the first place. Dude's clearly an animal lover.

Rihanna Accused of Ripping Off Clothing Brand ... That's a Big F.U.!!!
Rihanna's "Fenty University" gear is a total rip-off -- not because that college doesn't exist, but because it jacked its initials from another clothing brand ... so claims that other brand.
The singer's Fenty label through Puma is in hot water with Freedom United, an American fashion brand that happens to use the initials FU on its gear ... which it boasts has been worn by celebs like Demi Lovato.
Freedom sent Puma a cease and desist letter in January, spelling out how Rihanna had knowledge of its FU mark for at least a couple of years, yet still chose to use 'F.U.' for her line of Fenty University products.
The company asked Puma to stop making the 'F.U.' gear ... and hand over a full accounting of how much cash RiRi made from her 'F.U.' line.
Puma fired back in March with its own letter -- obtained by TMZ -- insisting there was no infringement on Freedom's 'FU' because Rihanna's 'F.U.' used a completely different font. Besides, Puma claims, FU is not a unique trademark ... it's just initials. Puma also says the Fenty U merch ran its course and is no longer being produced.
We're told this explanation isn't good enough for Freedom United, though ... and it plans to file a lawsuit against Puma soon.
We reached out to Rihanna and Puma ... no word back yet.

Sarah Jessica Parker Sued for Flaking On Huge Jewelry Deal ... SJP's Team Calls BS
1:29 PM PT -- Sources close to SJP tell us the actress was hit with several additional requests from the company after she'd already signed an original deal. We're told none of the new demands were in the first contract.
Our sources say the new requests included -- 50 Instagram posts a year, bring Kat Florence to 4 events per year, wear the jewelry to 24 events per year PLUS at all award shows, wear one piece to all magazine shoots AND do 12 International magazine interviews per year discussing the jewelry.
A rep for SJP tells us, "Kat Florence reneged on their contract with SJP. They have refused to compensate her after fulfilling her contractual obligations and continue to use her image for advertising and publicity to promote their brand."
Sarah Jessica Parker made a multi-million dollar deal to launch a new line of jewelry, but hasn't come close to holding up her end of the bargain ... according to a new suit.
Jewelry designer Kat Florence claims she and SJP teamed up in October 2015 to promote a new line of jewelry, design a special line of high-end products named after them ... and open 3 luxury shops in Europe with Parker's help in opening at least one of them.
Problem is, according to the docs, SJP signed a $7.5 million deal -- which was supposed to be for a 5-year commitment -- and began bailing on it almost immediately after the ink dried.
Florence claims Parker informed her she wouldn't be able to promote anything for 5 months because she was filming for her show, "Divorce," refused to attend jewelry events but promoted other personal ventures ... and refused to attend the launch of the London store, saying she was too busy.
As a result, the special line of SJP jewely was allegedly never launched and the London shop had to close.
Parker's being sued for breach of contract -- Florence is asking for unspecified damages.

Heidi Klum I'm a Dancing Freak for Dundas
Heidi Klum can't pass up a good beat when she hears one -- even if it's in the middle of a shopping trip ... girl's just gotta dance.
We got Heidi Tuesday night walking up Melrose Ave. in WeHo, where she stumbled across a Dundas pop-up store -- which was bumpin' some tunes that she clearly dug.
The German model got her groove on with the Norwegian designer, Peter Dundas, himself. Maybe it's a Euro thing, 'cause he didn't miss a step as soon as she stepped into his space.
Pretty hot scene ... in the middle of a clothing store.
File this under things you will NOT see during your weekly Target trip.

Kourtney Kardashian Meeting With Congress To Talk Cosmetics
Kourtney Kardashian is about to dip her toes into D.C. politics ... and it's all in the name of cosmetics.
Our Kardashian sources say Kourtney will come face-to-face with several members of Congress Tuesday in hopes of helping to reform the laws that regulate cosmetics and other personal care products. We're told Kourt's teamed up with the Environmental Working Group for the trip.
Kourtney touched down in D.C. Monday, where she was joined by the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" camera crew to capture the meetings. Our sources say the 'KUWTK' staff booked a block of hotel rooms and a conference room, as well, but it's unclear if other family members will join.
Kourtney's been a huge promoter of environmentally safe products in the past -- and she recently teamed up with Kylie for a cosmetics collaboration -- so it seems like Kourt wants to make sure she's putting out a healthy product for users and the planet.

Kim Kardashian West Gearing Up to Launch Lingerie & Shapewear Line
Kim Kardashain West is wasting no time in getting back into the clothing industry after announcing the end of DASH -- she's already hard at work on her own lingerie, intimates and shapewear line.
Sources close to KKW tell us for the last several months Kim's been developing a new brand that will serve all women. We're told it's not just Kim's name that will appear on the product ... she's had a hand in just about every aspect of the line's foundation -- from design to marketing -- and will run it top to bottom.
Our sources say Kim's teamed up with the same group behind Khloe's successful Good American brand as well as Frame and MR Porter.
Pretty quick turnaround, considering Kim, Kourtney and Khloe just announced on Thursday they'll be closing their DASH stores.
We're told the line should be out by year's end.

The Kardashians DASH Stores Are No More! We're Closing Our Doors
Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are pulling the plug on their boutiques after nearly 12 years of being in business ... TMZ has learned.
DASH stores in L.A. and Miami, which sell the sisters' lines of clothing and accessories, will be closing up shop soon. Kim says ... "We’ve loved running DASH, but in the last few years we’ve all grown so much individually. We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on."
She added, in a statement on her app, "We have to give a special thanks to the DASH employees and all of the incredible fans and customers who have supported us throughout the years!"
The Kardashians' New York shop closed in December 2016, and on an episode of 'KUWTK' they blamed it on NYC's extremely high rents.
The DASH stores are regularly featured on their show, and even got a spin-off called "Dash Dolls" ... but it only lasted one season.
Not that there's been a lack of drama -- a woman was arrested last year after pointing a gun at a cashier at DASH in L.A. and returning later to brandish a machete ... where she was caught on video.
