President Obama is squashing Cubagate once and for all -- and it seems he's had it up to here with Jay-Z.

When POTUS was asked about the trip on "Today" ... you could see him bristle. At first he tried being diplomatic, and finally in a moment of frustration groused, "We've got better things to do."

Jay-Z sparked controversy when he rapped in "Open Letter" -- "Obama said chill ‘You gonna get me impeached' ... We don’t need this s**t anyway chill with me on the beach.'"

If Alex Rodriguez wants to lounge in the sun while his teammates play baseball ... Artie Lange thinks A-Rod needs to spend some of his $29 million salary on a round of beers -- for all of Yankee Stadium!

We're exaggerating a little, but Artie -- a die-hard Yankees fan -- is definitely pissed about the photos of A-Rod and his gf Torrie Wilson sunbathing in Miami while he's out of the lineup ... rehabbing his injured hip.

You gotta see Artie's rant about A-Rod's astronomical salary and how much it's costing fans. It starts like this -- "Just imagine you're a forklift operator who makes $35,000 a year and you've got an enormously fat son that you like taking to Yankee games" ... and you gotta buy 4 hot dogs for him.

Artie goes off ... and you gotta hear it in his words. It is HYSTERICAL!

And by the way, Artie does have a way for A-Rod to make it up to the fans. It involves ... a bodega and rape.

In fact ... Jenna has moved out of the couple's Huntington Beach home.

As TMZ previously reported ... Jenna was arrested after her assistant claimed the former porn star beat her with a brass knuckle iPhone accessory. Jenna skated on the charge, but the assistant filed a restraining order painting Jenna as an out of control mess.

Kobe Bryant found an upside to season -- and possibly career-ending surgery ... HAPPY PILLS!!!

Mamba tore his Achilles tendon during last night's game against the Golden State Warriors ... an injury that requires surgery and a lengthy rehab. The Lakers say Kobe's timetable to return is about 6-9 months.

He posted a pic as he was about to go into surgery today, captioning it by saying, "Surgery prep time. Lookin like Mrs Doubtfire with a jerri curl cap lol Anesthesia next #highasakite #mambaout."

Earlier, his wife Vanessa posted a pic while Kobe was still on crutches, writing, "Waiting for MRI results with Dr Patrick Soon Shiong and Rob Pelinka. I want to thank my family for your love and support. Kobe is in great spirits."

Every Lakers fan on Earth, however, is not.

Jay Carney told White House reporters ... the only reason Jay-Z implicated Obama in his new song is because it's hard to find something that rhymes with treasury.

As you know, in Hova's song, "Open Letter," he raps, "Obama said chill, 'You gonna get me impeached.' We don't need this s*** anyway. Chill with me on the beach."

But Carney claims POTUS had zero contact with Jay-Z about the Cuba trip, and it was all handled by the Treasury Dept.

BUSTED!!! Justin Bieber's freeloading friend is NOT hooking up with Selena Gomez, even though he went to Herculean lengths to make it seem that way ... and we have video proof.

King Kevi -- who became famous-adjacent recently by living in Justin's house and throwing ragers with lots of girls, bongs and beer -- caused a stir when these pics (below) surfaced, showing the fake royalty appearing to leave Selena's San Fernando Valley estate Saturday night.

Various media reported Kevi -- the up-and-coming nobody -- was inside her house and "hung out." But we got our hands on surveillance footage taken the night in question ... showing Kevi posing in front of Selena's house while camera flashes went off ... but never making it past the gate.

Selena wasn't even home at the time the photos were taken.

In other words ... it was all a setup by the guy who is mooching off the Biebs.

He's no Kato Kaelin.

2:45 PM PT -- King Kevi tells TMZ the whole thing is a simple misunderstanding -- saying, "I was there to drop off something to a friend at the party. I walked multiple times to the front gate to try to call my friend and every time I had to chase off the photog."

He adds, "After the last attempt, I went to my car to leave and that's when my friend called me to come inside. When I backed in, I gave him another call to open the gate and he didn't pick up so I left because I saw the photog come back around."

President Barack Obama told Jay-Z he was worried the rapper's controversial trip to Cuba would cost him the White House ... this according to Jay-Z.

Hova just released a new rap, in which he addresses all of the drama surrounding his trip to Cuba last week with his wife Beyonce.

In the song, titled "Open Letter," Jay says ..."Politicians never did s**t for me ... except lie to me, distort history.”

He continues, "Obama said chill ‘You gonna get me impeached' ... We don’t need this s**t anyway chill with me on the beach.'"

The implication based on the lyric -- that Obama did something shady in helping Jay-Z and Beyonce get into Cuba and he could be in political hot water as a result.

There's more -- "I can turn Havana to Atlanta ... ballin’ too much they try to jam you."

“I’m in Cuba, I love Cubans.This Communist talk is so confusing.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z are taking heat for the Cuba excursion because all the RACIST WHITE PEOPLE are on the hunt to attack African Americans -- so claims legendary comedian Dick Gregory.

Gregory -- whose political attacks are epic -- told our photog at Reagan National Airport, Beyonce and Jay-Z have been skewered because of the color of their skin.

And he warns everyone ... "We're not the caretaker of Black folk."

And one more thing -- Gregory seems to think Dennis Rodman went to North Korea as part of an Obama-sanctioned secret mission.

Jay-Z and Beyonce's trip to Cuba last week reportedly got the U.S. Treasury Department's stamp of approval.

A source tells Reuters, the two visited Cuba last week for their 5th anniversary on a fully licensed "cultural" trip.

As we reported, it's against the law for U.S. citizens to travel to the communist nation if it's purely for tourism ... but exceptions can be made in the form of "cultural exchange" licenses.

Then again, the government doesn't just dole out licenses ... you need to show good reason ... and so far, the justification is unclear.

Paulina Rubio no le gusta dragging out a legal battle with the ex-assistant who claimed she beat the crap out of him ... so she settled with him outside of court.

TMZ broke the story ... Felipe Restrepo Betancur sued Rubio last year ... claiming she unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks on him inside an airplane, after he booked her ticket in COACH rather than 1st class. He wanted $250,000 for the alleged assault and some unpaid overtime.

Rubio denied the beating -- and said Felipe was an incompetent drunk who made the whole thing up.

Rather than play he-said-she-said forever ... the two struck a settlement deal this month regarding overtime. Rubio agreed to cough up $6,232.34 + the cost of Felipe's attorneys' fees. The assault claims were tossed out by the court.

Selena Gomez continues to torture Justin Bieber ... that is if you believe her song lyrics are a reflection of real life ... because her new track is about a on-again-off-again relationship she just can't shake. Sound familiar?

As TMZ previously reported ... sources close to JB are adamant he's acting out from heartache over his split with SG -- claiming SHE won't make a clean break and the two are still very much in contact.

So when SG's song "Come & Get It" was released online Saturday -- riddled with lyrics about an addictive love that's not quite over -- it begged the question, is it about JB?

The $100 million lawsuit Shakira's ex-lover filed against her is a joke because he has next to nothing to do with her mega-stardom -- this according to Shakira, who's refusing to give him a dime.

Shakira's firing back at Antonio de la Rua who filed a suit against her in NYC ... claiming he was her manager during their 11-year courtship, scored lucrative music deals for her, and is owed a big chunk of her earnings.

But in legal docs, Shakira says she was already an international star when she met Antonio in 2000 ... and even though she let him advise her on some decisions -- he was NEVER her manager and they NEVER signed anything stating he was.

In her filing, Shakira claims the only thing they did sign was a 2006 agreement in her native Colombia -- which made it clear they'd each keep their own assets if they split.
