Choking to the New England Patriots wasn't so bad after all ... so says Seahawks mega-fan Chris Pratt who says his Super Bowl wager with Chris Evans was the "best bet I ever lost."

Of course, Pratt agreed to visit the kids at Evans' Boston-based charity after the defeat ... dressed as Star-Lord ... while the "Captain America" actor taunted him with a Tom Brady jersey.

The kids loved it -- and clearly, so did Chris, who told us the whole experience was "beautiful."

The clip's pretty great ... especially the part where Pratt's famous friend (an actor who's been in a bunch of stuff) jockeys for camera time on the way into a bar ... hilarious stuff.

Louis Jourdan -- who played Afghan prince Kamal Khan in "Octopussy" -- has died at the age of 93.

Jourdan reportedly died at his home in Beverly Hills Saturday ... but details surrounding how he passed weren't immediately available.

The French actor also famously played the role of Gaston in "Gigi" ... and his character Khan in the James Bond flick will go down in history as one of 007's best adversaries.

In 2010, Jourdan was awarded the Legion d'Honneur in L.A. ... with his buddies Sidney Poitier and Kirk Douglas in attendance.

Celebrities already have money, fame and power ... but Hollywood's elite may soon have the ability to read your mind -- at least according to the woman behind one of the weirdest Oscar gifts of all time.

The Academy Awards gift bag this year contains all sorts of expensive items -- like a train ride through the Rockies and a year's worth of All-Audi A4 rentals -- but one item stands out most ... a session for mind reading techniques worth $20K.

Olessia Kantor -- who will fly out to the celebrity's location -- tells us she'll analyze their dreams/horoscopes ... and claims she can teach famous people how to read minds.

Marguerite Moreau -- who played Katie in the original W.H.A.S. movie in 2001 -- was outside Urth Cafe Friday when she gushed about reuniting with her co-stars. Netflix is shooting an 8 episode series with most of the original cast ... including Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper and Paul Rudd.

It's a cool reunion ... since most of the A-listers weren't huge stars back in 2001.

Russell Wilson is on the defense -- claiming he's NOT a godless infidel ... just because he saw "Fifty Shades of Grey."

The outspokenly religious Seattle Seahawks QB has been under attack on social media Friday morning ... ever since he revealed that he went to a screening of the sexually charged S&M flick on Thursday.

Some of the comments directed at Wilson were harsh:

-- "I'm more than a little confused, Russell. I thought you professed to be a Christian.
-- "Really? I'm honestly not sure how you can quote bible verses all the time and then say this is a good movie..."
-- "Don't say you represent Christ, and the publicly endorse a moved filled with immorality and sexual violence."
-- "COME ON MAN!!! THAT MOVIE IS MORAL FILTH!!!"

Well, Russell heard the critics loud and clear ... and decided to respond with the following statement:

"Saw a movie filmed in the town I call home. Provocative/disturbing no doubt but that does not make me less Faithful. Have a blessed day!"

Then, Wilson doubled down ... saying his favorite movie of all time is "Scarface" ... the cocaine-centric gangster classic.

Reviews are pouring in for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie, and uh ... well, they pretty much all suck.

But there is a silver lining here -- we finally have an excuse to talk discuss the proper use ... of anal beads. Yeah, it's about to get deep.

Dwyane Wade could be trading basketballs for Ben Wa balls -- the NBA star tells TMZ Sports he's taking Gabrielle Union to see "Fifty Shades" this weekend because "I wanna learn something!!"

This clip is awesome ... Wade (who's out in NYC for NBA All-Star Weekend) told us he's not gonna let his new wife drag him to see the movie -- instead, he proclaimed, "I'm taking HER!"

"I wanna learn something," Wade said ... "I'm married! You gotta keep it up!"

It was lights, camera, action for Brazilian soccer god Ronaldo Thursday night -- hitting up the Hollywood club scene ... and telling TMZ Sports he's considering a career in the movies.

Ronaldo started off at Ago Restaurant in West Hollywood -- where he told us he was in town for both business and pleasure.

So, what's the business side of things?

We asked if he's pursuing a career on the big screen, to which he replied (in Spanish) ... that he's thinking about it.

Moments later, the 38-year-old World Cup champ rolled on over to 1Oak nightclub on the Sunset Strip ... and partied until the club shut down at 2AM.

5:30 PM PT Hirsch's spokesperson, Robert Offer, tells TMZ, "Emile consumed an enormous amount of alcohol on the evening in question and he has no memory of what happened." Law enforcement confirms Emile and the witnesses were highly intoxicated and Emile has been cooperative.

Offer adds, "Emile takes these allegations very seriously, and is devastated that any of this has occurred. A few days after the incident, Emile sought help and checked himself into an alcohol rehabilitation facility, where he remains today, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again."

As for criminal charges, Emile has hired attorneys Blair Berk and Neil Kaplan.

"The Girl Next Door" star Emile Hirsch has been charged with felony assault for allegedly attacking a female Hollywood executive at a party in Utah during the Sundance Film Festival ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement tells us ... around 3:52 AM on January 25th, cops responded to an assault call at Tao nightclub in Park City.

According to police, "Hirsch appeared intoxicated and asked [movie exec Daniele Bernfeld] why she looked 'so tough' and said she was a 'rich kid' who should not be at Sundance."

FYI -- Bernfeld is an exec at Paramount.

Bernfeld told police ... she moved away from Hirsch to go sit with a friend at a table -- and moments later, Hirsch came up from behind her and "put her in a chokehold."

Then, Bernfeld claims Hirsch "pulled her across the table and onto the floor" and landed on top of her.

While on top, he allegedly wrapped his hands around her neck and began to choke her. She said she felt as though "the front and back of her throat were touching and she remembers things going dark."

Bernfeld says 2 bystanders eventually pulled Hirsch off of her.

When cops arrived, they spoke with Hirsch who claimed he was in a "verbal confrontation" with Bernfeld and admitted to having 3 or 4 drinks that night. Cops say he appeared wasted -- glossy eyes, slurred speech, poor balance, etc.

When cops spoke with Bernfeld, they noticed redness on her neck and upper chest -- which appeared to corroborate her story.

Hirsch was ultimately charged with 3rd degree felony aggravated assault -- which is punishable by up to 5 years in prison. He was also charged with misdemeanor intoxication.

Hirsch is due in court March 16.

Suge Knight's people are either delusional or lying -- according to law enforcement sources -- because the video they believe will exonerate him is the same video prosecutors believe will put him away.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... there is no gun or gunmen in any of the video footage captured by the security cameras at Tam's hamburger joint the day of the fatal parking lot altercation.

We're told cops are certain the video footage proves Suge intentionally ran over Cle "Bone" Sloan -- and in the process, Terry Carter. We're told prosecutors are making the video a cornerstone of their case.

As we previously reported ... our Suge sources say the video shows the fight was a planned ambush -- and "Bone" can be seen with a gun in his hand.

Clearly, both sides can't be right. We'll see what a jury thinks.

Tom Cruise hooked up with his ex-girlfriend Penelope Cruz ... for dinner in London and left with a souvenir... -- he was caught leaving with a red lipstick stain on his cheek.

Since he's Tom Cruise ... dinner with Penelope wouldn't be hot enough -- so her pal Salma Hayek came along for the meal at Scott's in London.

No clue on who planted the smooch on Cruise -- both women were wearing red lipstick.

Now, for the buzz kill -- Penelope's married with kids now (just like Salma) so probably not a hot and heavy date night.

Pierce Brosnan's garage went up in flames ... and a ton of firefighters had to rally to save the rest of his Malibu home.

The fire reportedly broke out Wednesday night just before 10 PM ... and about 20 firefighters doused the fire and stopped it from spreading.

Paul Rudd and the film crew from Marvel's "Ant-Man" learned a soft lesson about hiring random guys with loose bowels.

100 homeless people were booked as extras during a shoot in San Francisco's Tenderloin District. One guy did 2 really bad things.

#1 He hosed production by giving Ant-Man's van a golden shower.

#2 He dropped a giant deuce on the storefront set.

Producers were fed up and fired the guy, but gave him $175 for all his good work.

Suge Knight now has a video of the entire parking lot altercation that resulted in a man's death -- and sources connected to Suge tell us it shows someone holding a gun and pointing it ominously at Suge, and that person is Cle "Bone" Sloan.

Our Suge sources believe the video clearly shows the fight leading up to the fatal hit and run was an ambush. We're told you see a gun in Bone's hand ... and it looks like another person is also there holding a gun.

In the video ... after Suge runs over Bone and Terry Carter, someone walks over and takes the gun from Bone's hand and walks away with it.

And get this -- our Suge sources say based on the video and information ... they now believe Carter was part of the ambush. You'll recall, Carter drove with Suge to the meeting and set it up.

We're told the video was shot by surveillance cameras in the Tam's hamburger joint parking lot. We'd been told by the owner of Tam's that the cameras were inoperative, but apparently that was not the case.

What's strange is ... law enforcement sources tell us cops believe the video will help their case against Suge. Obviously, Suge's side sees it much differently.

2:40 PM PT -- Suge had another case to deal with Wednesday -- he and Katt Williams allegedly robbed a photog's camera in Beverly Hills last year. A preliminary hearing was held in L.A. County court, but neither defendant could appear.

Katt is out of town on tour ... and Suge is still being held without bail in the murder case. Their attorneys, Shawn Holley (Katt) and David Kenner (Suge) appeared in court. The preliminary hearing was moved to Feb. 19 ... when Suge and Katt will have to be present.

As far as we know, Samuel L. Jackson isn't going for a record, but he might get it anyway ... because he LOVES sayin' motherf***er ... as much as he hates "these motherf***in' snakes!"

Jackson was leaving the "Today" show when our photog caught him throwin' out his favorite word at some autograph seekers ... lovingly, we think.

So we asked Sam how many MF missiles he fires a day, and the number is pretty high ... for the average person -- but kinda low for Jackson.

Don't worry though ... his motherf***ing total tally -- for LIFE -- is way more impressive. Do the math ... motherf***er!
