Some people in L.A. probably did a double take Friday thinking they saw Michael Jackson walking around.

But it was actually the spitting image of the late "King of Pop" -- namely his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, who was on his way to shoot scenes for MJ's upcoming biopic, "Michael."

It's truly amazing how much Jaafar looks almost exactly like the world-famous singer, especially when he's in costume.

Check out these photos, obtained by TMZ, which show Jaafar on the movie set, sporting MJ's famous red varsity jacket next to a Tower Records pop-up shop and a huge ad promoting the entertainer's 1979 album, "Off The Walls."

As we reported ... Jaafar -- the son of Jermaine Jackson -- was spotted Thursday shooting scenes for the flick in LA's Encino neighborhood.

Jaafar was in total MJ mode from his hair to his makeup and clothes.

Actress Nia Long, who is playing Michael's mom, Katherine Jackson, also appeared on set Thursday. Colman Domingo wasn't there, but he snagged the role of MJ's dad, Joe Jackson, and has been spotted with the cast.

Mieka Pokarier, de 16 años, su madre y su hermana viajaban en un todoterreno desde Gold Coast hasta el concierto de Taylor a más de 1.700 millas de distancia, en Melbourne, cuando colisionaron con un semirremolque.

Mieka y su hermana de 10 años, Freya, resultaron gravemente heridas, mientras que su madre, Kim, también resultó herida.

Another deadly tragedy has struck Taylor Swift's legion of avid fans – months after one of her concertgoers died in Brazil.

The latest bad news came Thursday when a teenager was killed as she and her family were driving to the pop superstar's concert in Australia.

16-year-old Mieka Pokarier, her mother, and her sister were cruising in an SUV from the Gold Coast to Taylor's show over 1,700 miles away in Melbourne when they collided with a semi-truck.

Mieka and her 10-year-old sibling, Freya, were severely injured, while their mom, Kim, was also hurt.

Emergency Service units raced to the scene and provided medical aid to the sisters, but Mieka didn't make it and was pronounced dead.

Freya was rushed to a local hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. Kim, who was driving the SUV, was also hospitalized, but her condition was not known.

The truck driver also suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash. So far, no one has been arrested, charged or ticketed.

Back in November, another Swiftie -- Ana Clara Benevides Machado -- died after she collapsed from heat exhaustion at Taylor's concert in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Taylor posted a heartfelt Instagram message, honoring Ana and postponing her show the following night.

It remains to be seen if Taylor will follow the same playbook in this latest tragedy.  As you know, Taylor performed a sold-out concert in front of 96,000 people at the Melbourne Cricket Grounds Friday night.

Like we said ... Jen very much so comes across like an out-of-towner here, standing in the heart of the Big Apple cheesin' as she points and goofs around in front of the giant ads.

This is the sort of thing a normie would do in Times Square -- and yet, here's a bona fide A-lister doing it ... with no shame to her game. Jenny's got an album to promote, dammit!

BTW, Jennifer didn't confine her self-referential poses to the big billboards hanging up against all the skyscrapers -- she brought her feel-good vibes down to the street level as well ... leaning up against a van at one point that also had her face plastered across the side.

There, too, Jen was smiling ear to ear ... happy to pimp her image for as much pub as possible. On its face, it seems to have worked ... 'cause here we are talking about it!

We'll say this ... Jen's new album, 'This Is Me... Now,' is actually getting a ton of love among fans -- who say it's a throwback to 2000s R&B ... and one of J Lo's best projects yet.

Etterlene DeBarge -- gospel singer and matriarch of the legendary DeBarge family -- has died ... TMZ has confirmed.

The mother-of-ten passed away peacefully in her sleep at Berkley Post-Acute in Woodland Hills Friday morning -- this according to her daughter Etterlene "Bunny" DeBarge. A cause of death has not yet been announced, but sources tell us EDB was ill and battling dementia.

Bunny broke the news online -- posting a short message to social media, simply announcing her mother's death to fans of the group ... noting she was in a better place now.

Etterlene met Robert DeBarge -- her future husband -- back in 1952 and married him the following year. They built a huge family, complete with 10 different children  ... seven of whom went on to play in the Motown super group DeBarge.

The Grammy-nominated group was active from 1979 to 1989 before the lure of solo contracts for Bunny and El DeBarge helped lead to the group splitting up. There were other factors that ultimately ended the family band.

Etterlene and Robert divorced in 1974, and Etterlene chronicled their marriage and her children's rise to fame in the book "Other Side of the Pain." She married George Rodriguez in 1980 -- a pairing that lasted the rest of her life.

Etterlene is survived by George, eight of her children, and numerous grandchildren. One of her sons, Robert DeBarge Jr., passed away in 1995 while Tommy DeBarge passed away in 2021. Obviously, her legacy and impact in music lives on through her children.

Etterlene was 88.

Jessica Simpson may have recently ditched her wedding ring, but it sounds like she's still with her husband ... at least she was on Valentine's Day, anyway.

Here's the deal ... Jessica sent fans into panic mode Thursday when she posted a series of photos on Instagram without her wedding band ... leading to speculation she was, perhaps, on the outs with her hubby, Eric Johnson.

Thing is ... Jessica and Eric were spotted out to dinner the night before, on a Valentine's Day date no less ... hitting up Ivy At The Shore in Santa Monica -- obviously for some alone time.

Folks who were there tell us Jessica and Eric had a table to themselves and they looked happy together ... showing no signs of a potential split. If anything, they looked totally normal -- at least that's what was described to us ... no signs of trouble in paradise.

We should note ... Jessica going ring-less for the day after Valentine's isn't the only source of the breakup rumors ... frankly, she hasn't shared a pic with Eric since September, which is also a factor. Some have speculated something may be amiss between them lately.

Of course, a quick glance at Jessica's IG and you'll see it's mostly just photos of her ... with an occasional celeb friend ... and only a couple shots with the children she shares with Eric.

So, maybe fans are reading too much into Jessica's social media image ... and jumping to conclusions. In any case, they were all good on Wednesday night when they chowed down.

Remember, Jessica and Eric got hitched back in 2014 and they have 3 kids together ... and based on this V-Day date, any talk of a split seems premature -- if not totally off base.

El hermano de Snoop Dogg Bing Worthington ha fallecido y su famoso hermano lo está conmemorando en sus redes sociales.

Snoop compartió un par de post en Instagram para honrar el fallecimiento de su hermano menor: en uno de ellos aparecen en un camerino juntos y el otro es un video donde ambos están pasando el rato con su otro hermano Jerry en un cementerio.

Snoop Dogg escribió: "Siempre nos hizo reír 💙🙏🏾😢 u bac with moms" (vuelve con mamá).

Bing, que era medio hermano de Snoop Dogg por parte de madre, trabajó años con Snoop, primero como roadie en sus giras y luego como tour manager.

Bing también lanzó música con su propia banda Lifestyle. Hicieron un par de álbumes juntos e incluso una de sus canciones apareció en la banda sonora de "Van Wilder 2". A pesar de ello, Bing se dio cuenta de que disfrutaba más el trabajo de negocios tras bambalinas y renunció a sus sueños como rapero.

Hace unos años, decidió emprender su propio camino y se trasladó a Canadá para abrir un estudio de música y una productora, una fusión entre su propio Dogg Records y el sello canadiense de hip hop Urban Heat Legends.

Snoop Dogg's brother Bing Worthington has died ... with his famous sibling commemorating him on social media.

Snoop posted a couple times on Instagram to honor his younger brother's passing ... sharing a pic of them in a dressing room and also posting a clip of him and Bing hanging out with their other brother, Jerry, in a cemetery.

SD wrote in the caption for the clip, "always made us laugh 💙🙏🏾😢 u bac with moms."

Bing -- who was Snoop Dogg's half-brother on his mother's side -- worked with Snoop over the years, starting as a roadie on Snoop's tour before taking over as tour manager.

Bing also released music with his own group, Lifestyle ... they made a couple albums together and even had a song appear on the 'Van Wilder 2' soundtrack -- but Bing said he realized he enjoyed the behind-the-scenes business work more and gave up his rapper dreams.

A few years ago, Bing decided to strike out on his own and moved to Canada to open up a music studio and production company -- a merger between his own Dogg Records and Canadian hip hop label Urban Heat Legends.

Bing was 44.

After their famous relationship ended in the early 2000s, J&B got back together in 2021, with plenty of cozy sightings, including some nostalgic yacht trips, of course -- and thankfully, the singer has made it clear they're much more secure now than they were previously.

So much so, in fact, that she made an album that heavily touches on their relationship.

One thing's for sure: she's into her hubby -- and, as we've learned, he's really into her too!

Brian Wilson's family has filed for a conservatorship after the death of his wife, Melinda -- and they say it's because his cognitive ability has seriously regressed ... TMZ has confirmed.

According to legal docs ... the legendary Beach Boys frontman is suffering from a "major neurocognitive disorder" and taking medication for dementia -- so says his family. The docs say Wilson can't properly care for his basic personal needs such as food, clothing or shelter.

The Wilson family confirmed the news of the court filing to People, telling the outlet the family came together after Melinda's death and -- in consultation with Wilson's kids, longtime staff members and doctors -- decided to appoint two family representatives as his conservators.

The family went on to add that the decision was made to try and minimize changes to Brian's life and the lives of his children who still live at home.

Despite the conservatorship filing, the family says Wilson can still spend time with loved ones and even work on projects if he so chooses.

As we reported ... Melinda Kae Ledbetter Wilson passed away at the end of last month at the couple's home surrounded by her family.

Brian wrote on Instagram, "Melinda was more than my wife. She was my savior. She gave me the emotional security I needed to have a career."

A court hearing is scheduled for the end of April ... though it's not clear whether Wilson will attend in person.

A GoFundMe had been set up Thursday for Elizabeth "Lisa" Lopez-Galvan -- specifically, to assist her loved ones in setting up a proper memorial for her, as well as general financial assistance. She left behind a husband and two kids ... and the goal set was $75,000.

Taylor gave an assist and then some -- chipping in a total of $100,000 just from herself alone -- which came in the form of two different $50k contributions, which she put in her name.

She also left a sweet note along with her donations, writing ... "Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift."

The cash offerings generated overnight, just ahead of Taylor's first concert in Melbourne -- where she's been the past couple days to prepare for a string of shows there as her "Eras" tour ramps up again. Taylor did not address the shooting during her performance.

Still, this donation speaks volumes ... and makes clear, she's well aware of what happened.

Jennifer Lopez is baring her heart and soul in "This Is Me ... Now: A Love Story," and it might just be enough to earn her a much-coveted Oscar ... at least according to one of her costars.

We caught up with Alix Angelis Wednesday in L.A. -- she plays "The Quiet One" in J Lo's musical film -- and while she's not sure the new project will qualify for an Academy Award, she's hoping it does for Jennifer's sake.

AA told us J Lo had to get very vulnerable for this role ... she explained how that vulnerability actually made her stronger in the role, and as a leader on set -- Jen co-wrote and executive produced it.

The film follows Jennifer's journey to finding true love, through her own eyes, and while she's described it as a culmination of her last 20 years -- Alix says she's confident this won't be the last such project for J Lo.

Of course, Ben Affleck also stars in the movie, which could've made for some uncomfortable moments -- there are plenty of scenes about past loves NOT named Ben -- but Alix says he was never upset and remained incredibly supportive of his wife throughout production.

As we reported, Jennifer says she and Ben are much more secure now than compared to their tumultuous relationship in the early 2000s -- so they're able to work through issues much more effectively.

Kevin Durant is now a certified hyphenate celeb -- athlete-rapper, that is -- and the title comes courtesy of his collab with Stalley on a track called “Scared Money.”

Stalley tells TMZ Hip Hop ... he and KD shot the video a couple of weeks ago in NYC … a full circle moment after recording the track last summer.

KD was feeling ambitious and asked Stalley to send him a beat, and their mutual friend Travonne Edwards suggested the boom-bap instrumental that became “Scared Money.”

Stalley says the collab came organically … KD sent over his verse faster than some of the full-time rappers he’s worked with in the past!!!

The track will live on Stalley’s upcoming album “Peerless” which drops in March.

He has a show on Friday in Cincy but will have to wait to perform it live with KD -- the Phoenix Suns star will be in Indy this weekend as a starter for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.
