The photog who was attacked by Kanye West at LAX Friday is the SAME paparazzo who was attacked by Britney Spears in the famous umbrella incident ... TMZ has learned.

The pap -- who goes by the name Dano -- was on the receiving end of crazy Britney's Mary Poppins-style attack back in 2007. The word on the street was that Dano was more than a tad aggressive.

After the umbrella incident ... Dano put the umbrella (she left it on the street and he picked it up) on eBay. He also put the Ford Explorer she dented on the website and the bidding reached more than $30k.

But those figures are small potatoes ... we're told he also raked in a fortune from his video of the incident.

As for Friday's incident ... we broke the story .... Dano wants to press charges and Kanye is now a felony suspect for attempted robbery.

THIS VIDEO IS CRAZY ... Kanye West viciously attacked another photog at LAX Friday afternoon -- and it was so bad ... paramedics rushed to the scene.

Kanye was on his way out of the airport when he was swarmed with paparazzi, snapping pictures. One photog -- not TMZ -- probed Kanye with a bunch of questions.

Kanye told the man not to ask him questions, but he kept going -- and Kanye attacked, attempting to wrestle the camera from the guy's hands, and the man fell down. Kanye then immediately jumped into a waiting car and took off. Paramedics and police rushed to the scene.

Kanye had been out of the country since last week ... when he laid down his now-infamous anti-pap rules, telling our photog NEVER TO TALK TO HIM EVER. The extent of the photog's injuries are unclear.

Katherine Jackson testified in her wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live ... it's devastating to hear witnesses and lawyers refer to her dead son as "lazy" and a "freak."

She said, "It's hard to sit here in court and listen to all these things ... My son was sick and nobody was trying to help him."

When she met Dr. Conrad Murray -- the man who killed MJ with a fatal dose of Propofol -- she said she immediately thought the doc WASN'T the right person to care for her son.

She said, "My son needed another doctor."

Katherine is trying to prove AEG was negligent in hiring and supervising Dr. Murray, and is therefore responsible for the singer's death.

A bruised and bandaged Emma Roberts was spotted one week after her domestic violence arrest -- and based on the pics ... it seems the fight was worse than we thought.

TMZ broke the story -- Emma was taken into custody in Montreal on July 7 after an altercation with boyfriend -- and fellow "American Horror Story" co-star -- Evan Peters.

Montreal law enforcement sources tell us a 3rd party phoned police about an alleged fight in the couple's hotel room -- and when cops arrived -- they found Evan with a bloody nose and a bite mark. Sources close to Emma deny Emma bit Evan.

But in these photos, shot in Beverly Hills on July 14, it looks like Emma didn't exactly emerge unscathed herself -- she has some nasty scars on her knee, black and blue thighs, and a bandage on her left elbow.

Emma was booked into a Montreal jail -- and released the next morning when Evan refused to press charges.

Two years after UFC badass Brock Lesnar was forced to retire due to serious stomach issues, the Beast Incarnate proved his guts are still TOUGH AS HELL ... by woofing down enough food to feed a small Italian village.

As you may recall, Brock was diagnosed with a severe case of diverticulitis back in 2009 -- a digestive tract disease that usually forms in the large intestine -- and after multiple surgeries, he was forced to retire in 2011.

But things are lookin' up ... 'cause TMZ has learned Lesnar and his wife Sable hit up Fresco restaurant in Montclair, NJ on Monday ... and Brock put his belly to the test.

Danny McBride was rushed to a hospital in North Carolina today ... after he slipped and fell during a ROLLER SKATING SESSION ... while shooting a scene for "Eastbound & Down," TMZ has learned.

Apparently, Danny fell pretty damn hard ... and his ass appeared to be in so much pain, producers decided it was best to get the Kenny Powers actor to the hospital ASAP.

Don't worry ... doctors checked out McBride's backside and determined he didn't suffer any serious injuries in the fall.

TMZ spoke with McBride ... who tells us, "I busted my ass on roller skates. The roller skates won."

McBride has since been released from the hospital. In other words ... he's f**king out.

Randy Travis' heart issues which landed him in the hospital a week ago ... are NOT the result of drug or alcohol abuse, according to his doctors.

Doctors at the Texas hospital where Randy is getting treatment just said -- based on images of Randy's heart -- it's more likely that a family history of cardiomyopathy is to blame for his ongoing heart trouble.

They also said the country music star has been using a ventilator -- but he's improving and they hope he'll be breathing on his own soon.

Randy was airlifted to the hospital on July 8 -- and suffered a stroke last week while getting treatment.

Mariah Carey made the fashion statement of the season -- and the great news is you don't have to be super rich like her to get the same look ... but you do have to dislocate your shoulder.

This is painful ... Mariah Carey was so self-conscious about wearing a sling on stage this weekend in NYC, she tried to disguise her broken wing with ridiculous fashion accessories -- but it completely backfired.

Mariah -- who dislocated her shoulder while filming a music video earlier this month -- performed at the MLB All-Star Charity Concert Saturday night in 3 different outfits ... which included 3 matching sling disguises, including a weird superhero feather arm, and something that resembled a giant Q-tip.

The problem ... rather than divert attention away from her injury, the disguises made it way more obvious.

Melissa Etheridge's ex GF doesn't want their kids going on tour, living the rock 'n roll lifestyle -- specifically exposure to topless groupies and marijuana ... according to court documents.

Tammy Lynn Michaels went to court today in L.A. requesting an emergency hearing regarding the care of their 6-year-old twins -- because Melissa wants to take them with her on tour starting this month.

According to court docs ... Tammy is worried the kids haven't been vaccinated against Diphtheria, Tetanus, Measles, Mumps, Chicken Pox ... and a slew of other nasty stuff.

In the papers, Melissa claims she and Tammy agreed, when they were together, the kids would not get vaccinations -- and Tammy only changed her mind after they broke up in 2010.

Besides the medical issues ... Tammy also has beef with the kids being exposed to Melissa's rowdy fans and their ya-bos. In the docs, she claims "many female fans remove their shirts and bras and throw them on stage" ... which, we're guessing, she feels is inappropriate.

Further, Tammy is concerned about other people watching the kids while Melissa performs because "there is use of marijuana on the tour bus and in the dressing rooms."

Janice Dickinson had a painful run-in with a metal bar yesterday ... when a closing parking garage door struck her in the head so hard, she needed to be hospitalized, TMZ has learned.

It all went down outside the Rite Aid drug store in Beverly Hills ... when Janice was walking underneath the gate and had a collision with the crossbar.

Janice says she was knocked to the ground ... and sustained damage to her knee ... but she tried to go on with her day without medical attention.

But later that night, Janice says the pain began to set in ... and she couldn't sleep. So first thing Friday morning, she went to UCLA medical center ... where doctors ran tests and determined she suffered a pretty gnarly concussion.

Janice is now recovering at home ... but says she still feels "pretty horrible."

Michael Jackson's buttocks were so scarred and infected from long-term drug injections ... the singer's thickened skin nearly broke his doctor's syringe -- this according to the doctor's testimony.

Dr. Stuart Finkelstein -- who cared for MJ back in 1993 during his "Dangerous" tour -- sat for a deposition earlier this year in Katherine Jackson's wrongful death lawsuit against AEG, describing the signs of MJ's drug addiction, and the testimony was just shown to the jury this week in court.

We got video of the depo and the details are crazy -- Finkelstein described one incident, saying, "I attempted to give [Michael] a shot of Demerol [a painkiller] but his buttocks were so scarred up and abscessed that the needle almost bent."

Finkelstein said the scarring resulted from "significant, extensive" shots of drugs over time.

Randy Travis' friends are rallying for the country singer to get better ... and TMZ has learned several celebrities have called RT to send their well wishes ... including Chuck Norris!!!

Randy's publicist tells us several stars have reached out since Randy was admitted to the hospital with heart issues this weekend ... including Josh Turner, The Oak Ridge Boys, Joe Nichols, Lyle Lovett, Kenny Rogers, Ray Price, Lee Greenwood and Chuck Norris.

Unfortunately, Randy suffered a medical setback last night when he had a stroke that required emergency surgery. We're told Randy is currently recovering, but he's still listed in critical condition.

4:20 PM PT -- We're told Randy got a visit from George Jones' widow Nancy Jones -- who brought recordings from George's catalog to play for the ailing country singer.

We're told Nancy was very passionate about being there for Randy because RT had gone out of his way to support her family when George was sick earlier this year.

Nancy issued a statement to TMZ saying, "I love him and I know that George is looking over him during this time."

9:45 PM PT Randy is out of surgery, but still in critical condition ... according to his rep.

Randy Travis suffered a stroke ... and is currently in emergency surgery to relieve pressure from his brain.

According to the country star's publicist he was in a Texas hospital this evening getting treatment for his ongoing heart issues when the stroke hit.

As we previously reported ... Travis was airlifted to a hospital on Sunday when a viral illness led to congestive heart failure -- and doctors had inserted a tiny pump to assist in stabilizing his heart.

Just a few hours ago, one of Randy's doctors said he was stable and "showing signs of improvement."

The rep says Randy's family and friends are the hospital now ... waiting for him to come out of surgery.

He is listed in critical condition.

Randy Travis is getting better ... this according to the country singer's doctor.

Dr. Michael Mack -- one of the physicians treating Travis -- released a statement today saying, "His condition has stabilized and he has shown signs of improvement."

It's a ray of hope for the star who was admitted to a Texas hospital in critical condition earlier this week with presumptive cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure.

As we previously reported, doctors outfitted Travis with a heart pump in hopes it will aid in his recovery.

Travis is currently being treated at the Heart Hospital Baylor Plano.

Randy Travis has been outfitted with a device that's considered the "world's smallest heart pump" ... TMZ has learned.

Travis' publicist, Kirt Webster, tells TMZ ... the singer did NOT undergo heart surgery, contrary to reports, but did have an Impella peripheral left ventrical assist device placed in his heart for "stabilization while transferring hospitals."

According to the company that makes the Impella device, the pump is commonly inserted through a "standard catheterization procedure" -- in which the doctor inserts a catheter into an artery in either the arm, groin or neck and send it all the way to the heart.

We're told the device is considered the world's smallest heart pump -- the same size as a coffee stirrer and smaller in diameter than a pencil.

FYI -- according to the Mayo Clinic, a ventricular assist device (VAD) is "an implantable mechanical pump that helps pump blood from the lower chambers of your heart (the ventricles) to the rest of your body."

Travis' rep insists the procedure is minimally invasive -- and therefore NOT considered heart surgery.

Travis has also issued a statement ... saying, "We are very thankful to the fans for their love and support during this time."
