He's smiling in public -- but there may be a lot more going on with Nick Young behind the scenes than meets the eye.

Swaggy P was leaving Penthouse in L.A. this weekend -- when we asked about the recent picture of him furniture shopping in his pajamas in the middle of the day.

"I'm going through something in life right now," Young explained.

The NBA star does have a lot going on right now -- Iggy dumped him, his ex is pregnant with his child, and there are rumors the Lakers are looking to ship him out of town.

If pajamas in the daytime make you feel better -- have at it.

Pro skater Nyjah Huston says the crazy all-night ragers that got him in trouble with the po-po WILL RETURN ... in about 2 years ... 'cause he's shut them down based on a judge's orders.

Nyjah was ordered to stop having his (epic-sounding) Orange County parties earlier this year ... after being slapped with a litany of criminal charges surrounding the nocturnal disturbances he was causing (click here for the details).

The judge was super specific ... telling Nyjah to shut it down between the hours of 8 PM and 8 AM, and when we got Nyjah out in L.A. recently he assured us ... he's obeying the long arm of the law.

"I'm on probation ... maybe in a couple years."

Future hosted the official Summer '16 After Party at ACES New York Thursday night ... and he got LIT in the VIP section.

Future was seen throwing around handfuls of cash, and we're told he bought 12 bottles of Ace of Spades champagne -- those are a grand each -- and spent $30k overall.

To make things even more tasty ... Pastry Chef Nerwan Khalife provided 6 dozen cupcakes for the VIP that were loaded with Hennessy and topped with pics of Future and Drake.

It was a packed house for Future, who was there for a couple hours until closing time. Young Thug also rolled through.

After-parties are the best parties.

Justin Bieber just broke his "no photos" rule in a big way ... letting an obscure rap duo shoot a rap video in his castle.

The Biebs recently ran into a guy named BB the Jerk, a member of the L.A. rap duo These White Kids. Turns out Justin's a big fan of the duo's YouTube videos. The next thing BB knew, he and his rap partner were partying at Bieber's pool party.

At the party BB casually mentioned he had a new song called "Michael Phelps" and Justin suggested they get a video camera on the spot and shoot the music video for the song.

The video features hot chicks, of course, Bieber jumping fully clothed into the pool and there's even a cameo with Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr.
